First off, I got this on a deal at $90 while regularly this is at $129.99.
This keyboard is so great. Low profile, if you like laptop typing experience, this will get you closer to it. Speed switches is one the the newest, introduced in 2017 but this is my first time using them. Feel great, I can't tell much difference comparing to red switches. I currently own logitech g710+ brown switches which costed $120. This is on upper level at cheaper price. Build quality (aluminum back plate), RGB lighting, better wrist rest, extra keycaps. I am so glad my friend showed me this deal as he got one for himself.
Cons: none so far. But I just got it so not sure about durability. One weird thing is this keyboard still use 2 USB ports, like my old logitech keyboard. I thought they would get rid of it by now.
Loving this so far, I have not messed with the software yet. May update this review later.

Love this keyboard, from the build quality to the RGB, and the key press and travel. I love the low profile which will let you get by without a wrist rest but it comes with a great one if you want it.
The keys are mechanical but soft and quiet. They still have a solid mechanical feel though and do not feel like a membrane keyboard
The volume roll bar is a nice touch and a fast and easy way to control volume.
The lighting is very bright and vivid and reflects nicely over the brushed aluminum body.
My only complaint is the icue software included which is a bit convoluted and not very intuitive. You also won't find much on corsairs site for help.

Bought this to replace my old K70 Vengeance and I absolutely love it. The footprint is the same as any full size keyboard, but it's much less obtrusive on the desk due to the low profile - it seems to meld into the desktop. It is also very light weight which is nice when using it on my lap.
The key presses are silky smooth, quick and quiet. The only sound is a dull tap when the keys bottom out while typing. The low profile is also very comfortable for the hands and wrist, which was somewhat surprising.
The key spacing is the same as a full height keyboard (not crowded as in a laptop), but the keytops are larger due to the low profile design. I can definitely type faster and with less mistakes. Game play is better too. I have found no keys that wobble, stick or bind. Key press is registered about one third of the way down (1 mm), but there is sufficient spring resistance to avoid unintentional presses without tiring my fingers.
Some reviewers have criticized the key font that Corsair uses as being clunky (sort of an Arial bold), but I like it as it definitely makes the keys easy to read. Others have commented that the included wrist rest seems cheap for such an expensive keyboard, but that's personal preference. I like the this one as it has the proper shape and angle and has a nice rubberized feel to the surface which keeps your palms in place.
The LED backlighting is nice and you can program all kinds of fancy effects with the iCUE software if that's your thing, but for me it lights up the keys well, which is all I want (white for day, blue for night). There is bleeding of the lights around the base of the keys when viewed from a low angle, but when viewed from straight above you really only see the light coming through the keys. Either way, it's not a problem for me.
If I were one who really wanted to program lighting effects and macros, a complaint would be that there is no instruction manual for the iCUE software and only some pop up hints within the program window. I had to watch several YouTube videos just to figure out how to store profiles on the keyboard itself, but it wasn't that hard.
In summary, I like a lot and can't imagine ever looking for a better keyboard. The only downside is that it is pricey. I got it on sale, but would pay full price for it if I had to.

I was replacing my laptop with a gaming computer I would build myself so I needed a gaming keyboard. I did my research and wanted a low profile keyboard because I was used to the flat laptop keyboard. The K70 is expensive but well worth the money. It delivers on expectations.
Very comfortable low profile and slightly curved key caps to insure direct impact while fingers are centered on the asdf line.
ZERO deck flex. I mean zero. The top plate of this keyboard is solid aluminum.
Low profile reds keys are SO INCREDIBLY FAST. They have actually increased my type rate and I type fairly fast. Plan on making mistakes when you first use the keyboard however because they keys are so responsive you will accidentally hit others part way and it will register. That is to be expected. That stops when you get used to the keyboard.
Very fast response rate for gaming. There are times where it seems like I only needed to think about strafing and I did because the pressure needed is very light on these low profile reds.
Is it for everybody? No. It is very sensitive and responsive. That might make a few less accurate people annoyed. If you find you need a tactile response for your keys as in you really prefer the obvious activation of each key, get a tactile keyboard, not a linear one.
The RGB lighting is the smoothest I've seen and it does not flicker at all. That annoys me and it is why I ruled out other keyboards entirely. The iCUE software is much more powerful than most people realize. Explore it. Some reviews say it is bloatware. They simply don't understand how much you can do with it.

PROS:
* Customizable RGB
* Media controls
* USB passthrough
* Quiet, responsive keys
CONS:
* Corsair's iCue software uses more system resources than I like
This is not only MY favorite gaming keyboard I've owned (so far), but it's also my wife's favorite, since it's surprisingly quiet for a mechanical keyboard! If you need/want a good mechanical gaming keyboard, but don't want to disturb the people around you, this is a SOLID choice.
As far as features, I'm very happy that the K70 includes media controls and a volume dial in the top, right corner. I know that not everyone needs it, but I am glad that the K70 also has a number pad. It's great having an excellent gaming keyboard that can also be used for work/productivity too.
This is the first low profile keyboard I've ever used, and it does take a little getting used to. The slightest pressure will register a keystroke, which helps to make this keyboard so quiet compared to other mechanical keyboards. Is there a gaming advantage to having low profile keys? Not that I can tell.
Corsair's iCue software is great for customizing the RGB lighting effects, and it's really helpful if you have a Corsair mouse and/or headset as well (which I do). The iCue software lets you adjust just about everything you could want, but for whatever reason, iCue uses up to 30% of my i5-9300H when my laptop boots up. It goes back down to less than 1% within a min or two, but it's still annoying.
BOTTOM LINE:
This is an excellent gaming keyboard, epsecially when it's on sale (I snagged mine on sale for $99)!

Great keyboard. Not super quite, but not as loud as many other mechanical KBs. My favorite feature is the steel volume roller, it's perfect size and rolls so smoothly. The RGB lighting is high quality and you can do lots of customization with it using the iCUE software. Looks sharp on my desk. I enjoy the feel of the CHERRY keyboard keys. Very gratifying to the tips of these fingers. The low profile is just the right height and the travel distance for each key to actuate is very short so you won't have to push down very far to register your key stroke. Materials used to construct this KB feel and look of very good quality. You get what you pay for with this keyboard, that's for sure. I'm happy with this purchase.

This is a very clean looking keyboard and it has a nice low profile style. It's relatively on the smaller side which I like, the buttons are flatter than usual as well as quieter. If you're looking for a loud clicky keyboard, this isn't the one but if you want something with a little noise but not too obnoxious, I'd definitely go with it. The metal frame it has adds to its build quality and the keys don't seem to rub away after prolonged use. Over a year of daily use, the keys still look as good as ever, just a little shinier.
I've had pretty good luck with the iCue software too, it isn't as finicky as logitech's. There's a wide array of lighting options at your disposal and you can get really creative. It also has the ability to interact with software/games such as wallpaper engine, causing the lights to change color or pattern according to what's on your screen. The volume rocker is one of my favorite features on this keyboard, it has a metal feel to it (not sure if metal or not) and it feels so much better than pushing buttons to control volume. The keyboard cable is made of a really thick braid that will last for years to come. Everything about this board screams quality to me and I'm happy with the investment.

I really like the switches for gaming, and they are really quiet, but for typing you end up making more typos untill you get used to it for a week, it is a lot easier to accidentally press the button. The top of the keycap is about the height of a non low profile keyboard without the switches or keycaps I dont like the included wrist rest because its hard, but that might just be me. Anyway it has some grip and nice texture. Stuff like dust and hair sticks easier to the textured metal but its pretty easy to wipe off. The rgb lights look really good and are bright. The extra keycaps that come with it have texture like the space bar, and are raised on the edges, so the wasd or moba buttons kind of make like a bowl for your fingers. The volume wheel is smooth, no bumps at each notch, and you won't accidently scroll too far with it or anything. When I was playing games with this, at first the buttons felt too hard to press such a short distance (the actuation force to activate is the same as most other switches, but the activation point is sooner, meaning more force per distance is needed on the switch), but I got used to it after a few days. The usb passthrough is really useful, I use it for my mouse dongle, but because of that the keyboad needs 2 usb plugs into the pc. The wire is really thick because of that, like 1 cm diameter. The bottom row is not standard, but that doesnt really matter because you cant replace the keycaps on it anyway because it is low profile switches. The msrp is 170 which is kinda high, but now its easy to find for 150 or lower which is good.

Solid keyboard! I was a little unsure as I previously used a HyperX membrane keyboard. While the edges might be a little sharp ( metal) it's a GREAT keyboard. I like it so much , that I want to buy another. Great build quality and great key movement. I prefer the low profile for max dexterity. Only drawback is it is a little preicey!
But you pay for quality. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent keyboard for any purpose in my opinion. I've been using the same razer lycosa for the past 12 years which has been with me through hardcore gaming, college and now employment. Over the 12 years it took a beating and was sent out to pasture. However, replacing a keyboard you have used for over a decade is no easy task. I actually tried 5 different keyboards including a Corsair K95 Platinum before settling on the K70. The low profile is really nice being that it was the same as the Lycosa. This version of the keyboard is quiet unlike the K95. The RGB is beautiful and has onboard profiles just incase you need to use it with PCs that you cannot install the Corsair software on. The speed keys are excellent for gaming and it is comfortable for your fingers.
My only complaint would be that the wrist rest is light and feels cheap. The K95 has a very heavy and quality feeling wrist rest but overall this K70 is a great keyboard and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a keyboard especially for gamers or those looking for low profile.

Corsair knocks it out of the park yet again with their K70 Lineup, this time with all new low profile switches, the only one of it’s type out there. If you are a seasoned low-profile keyboard user, this should be your next purchase.
Pros:
- Great RGB lighting controlled with the easy-to-use iCUE software
- USB pass-through which can be attacked to another device with zero input lag
- Quality construction with durable and elegant materials
- Great for gaming and typing, was able to get >100 WPM typing speed
Cons:
- Expensive, one of the most expensive keyboards money can buy (albeit worth the money if you have it)
- Alternative/Replacement switches are hard to come by
- iCUE Software can often use up to 300MB of RAM while running in the background. If your computer has 12GB or more RAM you should be fine, as it doesn’t use much CPU.

keys are very sensitive at 1 mm travel to contact, and comfortable 3.2 mm keystroke travel. Excellent for gaming. Good for ergonomics being a low profile, among the very thinnest mechanical keyboards. Not very convenient for typing being super sensitive (depends on typist, others may like that). RGB lighting is fully programmable and can be used with (extra, free) software iCUE to show colors to the rhythm of music on the keyboard itself. Robust enough with no sign of wear after 1 year of daily use. Well built and has a convenient volume control.

Fast and Silent for Content Creators

I work as a content creator and game 2-3 hours a day. Most mech keyboards are too loud and have poor ergonomics for hovering over the ctrl, alt, and left half of the keyboard 8-10 hours a day. The k70 speed switch is an easy bridge between gaming mechanical and production keyboards. The key height is excellent and there is no sacrifice in key feel. You can easily use this keyboard without the supplied wrist rest. One issue I found is the CTRL key has to be pressed center and will not be as smooth if pressed from the corners.
PROS:
- SILENT
- better ergonomics
- less key wobble than regular k70
- floating keycaps
CONS:
- premium price
- ctrl key sticks in corners
- no detachable cable

First off, let me start with the positive. This keyboard is visually and audibly pleasing in every way. I love the effortless actuation in the keys and the individual lighting for all the keys are extremely bright. The pictures are not embellished in anyway, they are pretty spot on.
After almost 2 months, I only have 2 cons for this keyboard. (1) There appears to be some type of glitch in the software with iCUE. Sometimes it recognizes my keyboard's on-board profiles, sometimes it does not (as I am writing this, it does not). I only keep it connected to one computer and never unplug it so don't know why this is happening. (2) some of the games I play override my on-board lighting settings. Even though I disabled the game on iCUE, it's still taking over the keyboard's lighting. However, closing iCUE altogether prevents that (but also prevents me from using my saved profiles). This could be related to the first con though.
Overall, it is a great keyboard for the price. It gets the job done and has not given me any major issues. I want to love this keyboard more than I do, but I am just a little (only a little) disappointed with the software. No complaints with the hardware at all.

It's a great keyboard. Doesn't feel cheap, and the keys feel good to type on. The keys on this particular model (rapidfire) are very sensitive. A slight press is all it takes for the key to register. So it's like typing on a laptop keyboard, but with the features of a great mechanical keyboard. The RGB on the keyboard is also very nice. If you use Corsair's iCue software, you can manipulate the keyboard's lighting effects in any way you want. It's quite intuitive. The keys are also not loud, but still have that click to them. Overall the best keyboard I have used so far.

I'm not a gamer - this keyboard caught my attention because I was looking for a laptop-style keyboard to use for work (I'm a programmer). I like laptop keyboards because their keys require much less effort to press than those of a standard keyboard. Also, I have small hands, so the smaller dimensions of laptop boards fit me better. I initially thought the ThinkPad Trackpoint II would be the perfect keyboard for me so I bought it, but then I saw this keyboard on sale for $89.99 and was intrigued by it's specs, so I pulled the trigger on it. I tested the keyboards side by side over several weeks and came to the surprising conclusion (for me, anyway) that mechanical keyboards can not only be more comfortable than laptop-style boards and just as fast to type on, but that they can be ENJOYABLE to use.
I'd never tried Cherry switches before I got this board, and I was just blown away by their smoothness and key-feel - they literally elevated the typing experience to a new level for me. Compared to a laptop keyboard, the Cherry switch's greater travel-distance provides better cushioning, which reduces fatigue and makes typing more pleasant overall. While the Cherry's do require more effort to press than a membrane (laptop) switch, I've found them to be more pleasant to use in the long-run. Compared to a standard keyboard switch, they are MUCH easier to press. The palm-rest, though somewhat utilitarian, is comfortable and definitely helps with extended-use sessions. And last but certainly not least, the RGB lighting is beautiful, the best I've seen on the market. This is my first keyboard with RGB, and although I thought it was gimmicky at first, I've found that it has functional benefit as it makes it easier to see the keys in the dark. And it is just fun and inspiring to have the lights on in the background while I'm working.
This keyboard has opened me up to the fun and exciting world of mechanical keyboards, and I'm so glad I bought it. Since I purchased this board, I've explored several other boards including the Logitech G915, Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition and Huntsman Elite, and SteelSeries Apex Pro, and the Corsair remains my favorite. It is just a very high-quality product that is a joy to use.

Outstanding keyboard. Easy to modify and control with the iCue software. Keys can be sensitive if you're not used to a 'low profile' keyboard - but I am - and this one is very satisfying to type on. Doesn't have that typical mechanical clicking sound, which I tend to like, but on this keyboard - I'm Ok with it. Great tactile feedback and relatively quiet.
Build quality is top-shelf. 3-stage RGB lighting brightness is just way I like it. The scalloped layout of the keys is one thing that attracted me to this keyboard - beyond the low profile configuration - and my typing accuracy became precise quickly in mere hours.
I've played 'Sandstorm' and 'Cold War' for a good length of time and I am thrilled.
Have this keyboard attached to a Legion 7i, so the software integration was a bonus. Moved off of a G815, which is an excellent keyboard in its own right - but Logitech has long-standing software issues that I don't want to deal with on this particular setup. I also like the smaller overall footprint of this unit; the volume scroll bar; the media key arrangement and the uniform lighting of both the primary & secondary functions.
I'm not even using the included palm wrest. Don't need it!
Can't recommend this keyboard enough... especially when it is on Sale. Tremendous value for the money.

This keyboard is solidly built ( no flex in boad) the switches are easy to adjust to if you have used other low profile keys. The icue software takes some learning but has lots of options including on board profiles for use with computers that don't icue software installed. RGB is bright and adjustable. The added wrist rest is not soft but has a nice angle on it. The only two cons are it attracts dust and the cord is very thick which can be a pain for cable management.

After looking around for low profile keyboards i should of just stopped here. Which leads me to the only con, price. Owning the keyboard i do not feel robbed in any way i am enjoying it in every way possible RGB aside. If you are an RGB enthusiast this is a go to customizations are honestly ridiculous. Personally RGB is a plus but i wanted a good quality keyboard most of all and this satisfied me
