Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the M65 Ultra Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's long battery life, lightweight yet solid build, and responsive wireless capabilities. Many appreciate its comfortable design and high-quality feel, although some experienced issues with the left click and software. The customizable DPI settings and quick response times were also frequently praised. However, a few users found the price point to be a significant drawback.

The M65 Ultra Wireless Gaming Mouse feels strikingly similar to my previous gaming mouse, from another brand, and has a very similar button layout and contours. The M65 has a slightly lower profile and a silky smooth, soft-touch finish that I found very pleasant in my hand, whether using a palm or claw grip. On the bottom are 4 replaceable PTFE glide pads that allow the mouse to travel smoothly over mouse pads and other flat surfaces, and the textured grips on the sides keep my fingers from slipping during use. The mouse comes with a 6 foot USB-C charging cable, a wireless Slipstream 2.4GHz USB WiFi dongle, that can be magnetically stored in the bottom of the mouse, and three tunable 4 gram weights with 1g aluminum screw covers, allowing you to alter the center of gravity and adjust the weight to suit your gaming style. The total weight can range between 110g (no covers or weights installed) to 128g, and you’ll need a flathead screwdriver or coin to remove and install the covers. I prefer not to use the weights to keep the mouse as light as possible. There are 8 buttons on this mouse: left and right mouse keys, a clickable scroll wheel, DPI up and down, as well as forward, back, and sniper buttons at the thumb. All of these, except for the left mouse button can be remapped through the iCue gaming software, and you can even set custom actions for right, left, front, and back tilting of the mouse. Note that you’ll need the iCue software to change the RGB lighting effects of the Corsair logo as well. The left and right mouse buttons utilize Corsair’s Quickstrike spring mechanism paired with optical Omron switches, for fast and responsive clicks, however, I did find that these buttons required slightly more force to actuate than I’m used to, since I tend to press in the center of the button versus towards the tip. For me, the scroll wheel also felt somewhat stiff and while clicking the wheel enables hyper-fast scrolling using the cursor, it doesn’t have resistance-free scrolling or tilt clicking. The DPI buttons allow you to quickly and easily change the amount of distance the cursor travels in relation to the distance the mouse moves over 5 stages, making it easy to switch between traversing the whole width of the screen with a twitch and accurately tracking an object while moving the mouse over a longer distance. These stages are customizable from 100 - 26,000 DPI in increments of 1 and assigned an RGB color so that when either button is pressed, the LED between them illuminates for 5 seconds to help you distinguish which stage you have selected. The one-touch sniper button lets you instantly drop to a pre-set low DPI which is really helpful in first-person shooter games, so you can transition seamlessly from fast-moving character control to accurate and precise aiming. The mouse can be connected to your computer 3 ways: wirelessly using the WiFi USB dongle, with the USB-C charging cable, or via Bluetooth, and there’s a toggle on the bottom to switch between them. Just note that the rubber cable is somewhat stiff so if your mouse is running low on battery and you find yourself needing to use it while plugged in, keep in mind the cable adds a significant amount of weight and drag to the mouse. Since the mouse will mostly likely be used wirelessly this won’t normally be an issue. The mouse is plug-and-play using any of these connection methods and requires no additional setup. Note that any customizations, however, can only be set in iCue and some features require the mouse to be plugged in via USB, for example, firmware updates, surface calibration, and changing the polling rate. The polling rate of this mouse can be set to 1 of 5 settings between 125Hz to 2000 Hz. Higher polling rates can improve accuracy and responsiveness, but will drain the battery faster. With regular everyday work and gaming use with the default settings, I didn’t find the need to charge the mouse that often, about once every 10 days; the battery can reportedly last up to 90 hours on WiFi and 120 hours on Bluetooth if the lighting is turned off altogether. One benefit of having multiple Corsair wireless devices that are Slipstream compatible is that you can enable ‘multipoint access’ and use a single WiFi USB dongle to pair with up to three of them and free up additional USB ports. However, for pairing purposes, you’ll need to plug in the dongle and all the devices simultaneously; so if your laptop only has 1 USB port, you’ll need to use a USB hub to set up multipoint access. Another feature I found very useful for non-gaming/creative use is the ‘angle snapping’ option which allows you to draw a straight line even if your mouse movements aren’t very precise. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using the M65 Ultra for both gaming and everyday computing. Mouse movements and clicks are responsive and accurate. While it’s still a bit heavy even without the weights, the ergonomic design and contours feel good in my hand, and it is comfortable to use for long periods of time. The battery lasts a long while, and you can keep tabs on the charge remaining with an icon in your system tray, so you’ll know when it’s time to plug it in.

    - corsair m65 rgb ultra is prob one of the cleanest looking wireless gaming mouse around, I love the way this mouse is presented. RGB lighting is very subtle you have the main logo that lights up and the dpi button that changes colors depending on your setting - i’m familiar with wireless gaming mouse I currently uses Razer Basilisk ultimate which it’s another great gaming mouse as well - but man oh man after finally getting my hands on with this M65, I think I like it more, first of the look of the mouse I just love, the plastic has this soft rubber feels to it, kinda reminded me of how Xbox elite v2 controller feel, that’s probably the first thing that I notice after having the chance to actually use it. - at the button m65 also offer weights spots that you can fill incase you prefer heavier mouse, one gaming mouse that also offer this kind of weight feature is logitech G502 - of course you have your standard left/right click, scrolling wheel and underneath that are your dpi buttons, the thumb section you have two more button and a sniper button, just like G502 wireless and Razer Basilisk this mouse also comes with sniper button, the m65 sniper button even have a crosshair logo. - but after having to use the logitech G502 and the razer basilisk, Corsair M65 sniper button is so much better, the location where it’s placed is also natural to where my thumb would be placed, while logitech and razors mouse I do have to reach forward a tiny bit, so it doesn’t feel natural, I have tried it while using for sniper zoom and by far M65 got the perfect placement - another feature that M65 support is bluetooth, I at least haven’t had a gaming mouse that have a receiver and come with bluetooth functionality. so if you don’t want to use the receiver that hey you don’t need to. this is fantastic and another A+ feature I really like. - if you want this gaming mouse to fully shine then you’ll want to install iCUE by corsair, you’ll be able to customize your own person dpi to 5 custom spot and another spot for sniper button dpi - m65 have gestures features that you can use but i doubt I would fully take advantage of this, tilting the mouse to navigate is probably something that doesn’t feel natural to me - iCUE is such a great software for anything corsair gear you got, m65 alone have such a great amount of customization you can do, it’s a must download - for the record I did updated the mouse to the latest version 5.3.32 and the wireless receiver to 5.2.92, to make sure I’m fully up to date incase some new features was released - not everything is perfect for me though, there are things that i’ve noticed while using this m65, first the additional weights you can add, I wish that there’s a proper tool to unscrew the small screw to lock them in place, I feel like through time since the box doesn’t bundle with the tool, people will eventually scratch or might even ruin the screw through time during inserting and removing. - g502 and razer basilisk offer their own small feature when it comes to scrolling wheel. but m65 just feel better standard, there’s no way to even adjust how the wheel feels, while in razer you can make it lose or firm. I think all premium mouse should have that, considering you already added the likes of sniper button - the last thing, is probably the lower part of this mouse, what I mean by that I feel like the button of my palm is missing something, the shape of m65 I feel like could have been longer and I think it will feel natural in the hand. - m65 is one great looking mouse, it almost have everything I need and what i’m looking for gaming mouse, this will get a ton of use in my gaming space for sure

Purchased this mouse in hopes that it would be a good fit for large hands but I was really disappointed. Not only was it narrow causing uncomfortable grip, one of the thumb screws for the weights broke inside the thread hole before it can be completely flush and flat. I enjoy Corsair products just as much as the next person, but I will never buy this mouse again. I returned this immediatley for a Scimitar.

As soon as I unboxed and charged up this mouse I went into Corsair’s iCUE software and performed a surface calibration. After that I went into Steam and started benchmarking the mouse using AIM Lab’s game. If you aren’t familiar with AIM labs you might want to try it out because it really does allow you to compare your ability with your mouse in consistent sets. I compared my performance using different weights and DPI settings and based on these I was able to figure out what worked best for me with this mouse. The bottom line is that after customizing the mouse I was about 10% better using this mouse than any other mouse that I have used to play games with. While I am not at the top of any charts I can see actual numbers that justify me saying this mouse has improved my performance. This mouse looks and feels solid due to its aluminum base. It glides easily and the quick strike buttons engage with a solid click and release which makes these buttons feel super-fast. I found myself using more of a palm grip due to its overall shape. Using it in a claw grip I felt like I lost some of the thumb support and tackiness you get from the sides of the mouse. The Sniper button on the side of the mouse is little farther forward that I would have preferred but with a little time I got used to its position. Setup and Customizing: This mouse has lots of options to let you customize it to your liking. You can operate the mouse in a wired mode, wireless mode or Bluetooth mode. I tried all three but settled on the wireless mode because it offers a few more options than Bluetooth and doesn’t require a wire. You can adjust the weight by adding or removing three screws with or without the extra donut style weights. This gives you seven different weight settings to try out from 110 to 128 grams. There are eight programmable buttons that you can customize with macros using Corsair’s iCUE software. You can save a customized mouse profile in the mouse with the use of the supplied USB cable. There are five different DPI stages preprogrammed and there is an indicator LED on the top of the mouse to indicate what you have selected. The preprogrammed levels are 400, 800, 1200, 1600 and 3000 but you can change all of these in the iCUE software. You can also do On-the-Fly DPI tuning by increasing or decreasing the value by 50 using short cut keys. If that isn’t granular enough you can use the iCUE software to adjust the DPI by 1 DPI steps. I mostly play in the 400 to 1200 range and found that the preprogrammed DPI up and down buttons with the corresponding color LED made the changes simple and quick. The RGB lighting is controlled by the iCUE software and there are lots of color and lighting pattern options to choose from. The lighting shows up in the Corsair icon on the mouse as well as the lower rear of the mouse. Corsair includes a long USB-C cable for charging the mouse and downloading profiles. The rechargeable battery should last up to 120 hours but that will depend on how the mouse is configured for RGB lighting and sleep time. Corsair’s iCUE software gives you a lot flexibility. Using iCUE you can adjust the dpi settings, configure your button assignments including custom macros and create your RGB lighting effects and colors. Also you can do a surface calibration test. The software does have a tutorial option which does help explain the software options.

    My New Favorite Mouse

The Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra Wireless may be my new favorite mouse. Smooth tracking and glide. Excellent click response. The quickstrike buttons and omron switches are super responsive. I noticed no latency in online FPS gaming. Built-in gyro / tilt functions give me functions and options I never even knew I wanted. Adjustable weights help customize the experience. I can't say enough about how premium this mouse has felt. I wish the mouse were a bit larger, but that's a nitpick. I guess it should be obvious at this point, but I highly recommend the Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra. I've been building computers and gaming on PC for the last 30 years. Mice have come a long ways from the rubber balls of the 90s. There have been variations on the basic mouse for a while, but I probably haven't been this jazzed for a new mouse since the Microsoft Intellimouse introduced laser tracking. The built-in gyro / accelerometer allow me to program keys or macros to various movements. Want to alt-tab quickly? Why not just tilt your mouse to the right? Want to reload in a game? Why not program that to a tilt function. You can program in signatures and macros into the iCUE software. And with the software, you can adjust how sensitive the gestures are. If you don't want the triggered response until you tilt the mouse greater than 50 degrees, so be it. If you want a hyper response, you can set the tilt lower. It's a feature I never knew I wanted until now. I'm not sure that the mouse needed the weight customization, but I appreciate the option. A lot of hardcore gamers like a lighter mouse, but I like the heft and added weight. The weights don't change things a ton, but it is a noticeable difference. Installing them is super easy. You secure the weights with a twist on cap that can be tightened with a quarter. I use a hard surface mouse pad and this mouse has been great. It just feels smooth as it tracks across the mouse pad. The grip and mouse texture feel good. The scroll wheel looks like it belongs on a model car, but it feels and works great. The sniper button is placed perfectly. Users interested in RGB customization should know that there aren't that many options for customization. You can change the color of the Corsair logo and that's about it. Battery life has been good. I've used the mouse solid for several days and have so far only charged once. The mouse has a USB-C charging port. It should go without saying that you will need to download the latest version of iCUE from Corsair to fully utilize all the bells and whistles on this mouse. But, thankfully, iCUE has steadily improved from just a few years ago. It's been stable and worked well in my experience. So, in conclusion, I really like this mouse. I think Corsair has been on a roll lately with their gaming mice and the M65 RGB Ultra is probably one of their best, yet. This is an easy mouse to recommend. 5/5

Once you get it setup, it works well. Because it can do a lot of things you have to spend some time setting it up. The accuracy is very good. The mouse is constructed very well, it feels good in your hand. I have XXL hands (Glove size) and it does not feel small in my hands. I like that you switch it from bluetooth to wireless because I use it on a couple of different computers. And the auto-shut off is great. It is expensive but I really like compared to my last mouse.

The M65 Ultra Wireless builds on the excellent design of the M65 Ultra by adding the wireless functionality to the mouse. It also has Corsair’s Slipstream wireless technology which means high polling rates and low latency. The battery life is outstanding as well, I’ve been using it for 5 days for 5-6 hours playing Diablo 2 Resurrected and also using it for work 8-9 hours a day and still haven’t needed to recharge it. That’s another great feature of this mouse and many of Corsair’s new mice, they have both wireless connectivity via provided usb dongle, but you can also connect it to devices that support Bluetooth. This is perfect for my work from home setup, as I can just change on the fly to BT and connect to my work laptop. The M65 Ultra Wireless have some of the most satisfyingly clicky buttons. You can feel the Omron switches actuate and confirm each key press. This is a claw style mouse and for me it fills most of my hand. I kind of wish the side buttons were set a little further back or adjustable . It also includes adjustable weighting system but I’m not a huge fan of that feature even on my Mice from other mfgs, since this mouse is already a bit on the heavy side. It’s probably slightly heavier than my G903. Great mouse but Corsair really needs a wireless charging mat as that is the main reason I still prefer their competitor devices. But at least Corsair has fully gone to USB-C to charge their devices which is more than I can say for their competition! Overall great mouse so far.

The mouse has a smooth matte surface on top and textured plastic on the sides, providing a soft-touch finish. Performance and Features Equipped with the CORSAIR MARKSMAN Optical Sensor, the mouse delivers accurate tracking with a sensitivity range adjustable in 1 DPI steps, up to 26,000 DPI. The QUICKSTRIKE buttons feature a spring-loaded design, ensuring zero gap between the primary buttons and their optical switches for fast and responsive clicks. Wireless Connectivity and Battery Life The mouse offers dual wireless connectivity options: SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS Technology: Provides sub-1ms wireless transmission speeds with 1,000Hz hyper-polling for ultra-fast response times. Software and Customization The M65 RGB Ultra Wireless is compatible with CORSAIR's iCUE software, allowing users to: Remap buttons and set macros. Adjust DPI settings in 1 DPI increments. Customize RGB lighting effects. Configure tilt gestures and other advanced features. The mouse also features onboard memory to save customized settings for portability. Pros: Durable aluminum frame with a comfortable design. High-precision 26,000 DPI optical sensor. Low click latency and responsive optical switches. Dual wireless connectivity options with substantial battery life. Advanced features like tilt gestures enabled by the gyroscope and accelerometer. Cons: Heavier than many competing gaming mice, even at its lightest configuration. The rubber charging cable is not as flexible as some users might prefer. The scroll wheel lacks L/R tilt buttons and a free-scrolling mode. Hope this will help you in making an informed decision.

Pros: Its a great mouse so far. I prefer a smaller mouse for claw grip and this fits the bill. I was trying to get this mouse for a while but it was on recall or something similar in the US. its my first m65 style. I currently haver the nightsword as well. both are great mice but I wanted a wireless mouse and the smaller size so this is currently my daily driver. It has so many features I don't even know what to do with them all yet. the rgb is on the minimal side so depending on who you are thats a pro or a con. Its about the perfect amount for me. Cons: It is a little pricey but I doubt it will stay so costly with time just like any other mouse. As I said before it was on recall in the US so it was impossible to get and there has never been an explanation as to why it was unavailable so that is a little troubling. From reviews of other m65 style mice and most corsair mice I have seen many complain about a left click issue popping up from time to time but I haven't experienced that yet and hopefully never will. I'm sure corsair has a good customer service in place for when issues like that do come up but who wants to send their stuff back and wait for who knows how long for a fix/replacement. Conclusion: A bit pricey but with lots of features and sick design to make up for the cost. weird launch but hopefully thats just a small bump in the road. Only time will tell

The build quality is very good and feels nice to the touch. Made with premium parts and has a decent battery life. The M65 is very lightweight and even when the weights are added, tuning the weight will be limited. The size of the mouse is on the smaller size and those with larger hands will need to use a claw or fingertip grip. Biggest con is the higher price compared to others.

I love Corsair products, especially their keyboards, but their mice are peripherals I want to love also but one thing keeps them from being my daily gamer. Some folks might not have an issue with the one missing feature I can't live without. The shape of the Corsair M65 is perfect for my grip. I'm a hybrid claw gripper and the M65 just molds into my grip like it belongs there! All the buttons are easy to reach and responsive. I have other Corsair models and each one is a perfect fit. I can play hours without fatigue or stress. I don't use any of the included weights because I like my mice feather light. One thing I did was add ceramic feet to the mouse. I've been using the ceramic for more than a year and love the minimal resistance they give. I'm so used to them that gaming without them it feels like I pushing a mouse through molasses, lol. Corsair's iCue software has gone through some improvements over the years and hasn't caused any instability issues for me. I've always thought Corsair had the best software for configuring macros and customizing your perifs. It could be I like them best because I've used them the longest for keyboard and ambient lighting. So making custom macros and key assignment were a breeze. So now we get to the one thing that always keeps me from using a Corsair mouse as my main gamer - no side scroll. I've become so reliant on the side click that I can't play a game without them. They're so easy to hit with a small shift that I use them mainly for grenades, heal, or any other quick essential ability. If they could have just added that one feature the M65 would be near perfect for me. If the side scroll isn't a issue for you, then grab this mouse and give it a run.

The mouse is a excellent choice for shooters and games where you want a overall smooth motion experience. the response time is 0.1ms which is actually impressive given it doesn't make the game feel jittery when you look around. The battery life will last 90+ hours of constant gameplay in DOOM,COD Titles, and Battlefield Titles. I would not recommend it for the mouse bangers due to the thin plastic to make it lightweight. I would recommend using the CORSAIR Software to change the dpi to 500,700,900,1000,1200. I believe the side button when pressed lowers your dpi by 200 for accurate sniper shots. I broke mine cause I slammed it. Don't Slam Yours!

Awesome gaming mouse if you like heavy mice. Comfortable, accurate, and a long battery life. If you are a gamer that plays on low sensitivity and prefers a lightweight mouse, i wouldn't recommend this product. You CAN remove the weights from the mouse, but it's still not going to be as light as a logitech gaming mouse. I personally like my gaming mice to be on the heavier side, and the M65 Ultra Wireless is easily my favorite mouse. It's easily a 10/10 for me.

I’ve tried multiple mice over the years for my gaming setup but I always kept coming back to this one. The weights make it slightly heavier the way I like it but can be removed if needed. Also the wireless aspect has been great and never had an issue in fact the wireless battery lasts me about 2 whole weeks with heavy gaming and charging takes only about an hour or so. In the mean time you can use the mouse while it charges too!

The mouse feels great as its base is made if aluminum, the actual buttons themselves feel great actuation is instant and everything is super responsive. I’ve used both the logitech g502 lightspeed and razer balisk ultimate and find that this mouse performs better it just feels so much smoother and responsive, the 26k marksman sensir the best in its class, the ony gripe if any is the weights ate pretty pointless as i dont feel a difference with and without. In conclusion i highly recommend this mouse for its premuim feel and its top of the line performance

Pretty nice companion for my laptop. I use a Dark Core RGB for my desktop and they feel similar. I wish the M65 had the pinky rest like the Dark Core, but at least it has the thumb rest I have become very accustomed to. The clicks are louder on the M65, but not necessarily too loud. This new mouse feels nicer, has more RGB flash (which the rear LEDs may be distracting if closer to your eye level) I was using this mouse on my lap in the work truck, and on the memory foam mattress in my sleeper bunk and the tracking was phenomenal! Paired very easily to my laptop's bluetooth. Overall the only thing I dislike about this mouse is the price point. I love Corsair products and instantly grabbed this to go with my new laptop and had a sticker shock moment at the register.
