This is EXACTLY what I needed to help establish my PC setup. The RGB is vibrant and syncs up with ICUE really well. The additional USB port is helpful for charging other devices as well. its not too big or too small. The surface is not "squishy" a nice solid and firm material that does not compromise the sensitivity of the mouse. Id recommend!!

I saw this while watching a youtube of a mechanical RGB keybd and had to back it up to make sure my eyes weren't playing trick on me... an RGB Mousepad??? They weren't and I went oout and bought one today.
Installation is a breeze, you pluf it into a usb port. Download the 171mb Cue software from Corsair and install it.
Now program you lighting to your taste.
*Cue is rather easy to figure out in the non-advanced mode
The bottom is covered in a rubber-like textured layer. I have no doubt that it will not slip or move around while gaming like muy cloth ones do.(I tried it for 2 hrs after I got home)
The surface is a finely textured plastic and it was not long before I wondered why I never discovered the 'hard' mousepads before. They are amazing!
The led effects are beautiful! You can customize color, intensity, and speed even on the basic menu in Cue. I opted for one of the preselected modes and just droped the intensity and speed to my liking.
This pad has a USB port that you can plug a device into. two would have been nice but one lets you connect the mouse right to it if you like.

I've been wanting to try out something different. BestBuy happened to have this one on display with the M65 Pro mouse I use and it felt good. RGB might be a little overboard for this type of product but it fits in well with my RGB Crosair mouse and keyboard and my glass side PC case right next to it, plus it was on sale. I've had it for a few weeks now and I'm happy with the purchase. I was surprised to find my mouse glides across this mat with less effort than my previous fabric pads.
The only con I can think of is where the cable attaches there is a pretty large box attached and my mouse cord hangs up on it. I think it has to be that large because they have an extra USB port for you to plug your mouse in. In theory, it's good to have that for setups with limited USB ports. However, I have a very clean setup with as few cables showing as possible, so I don't want the mouse cable doubling back with the huge USB connector in plain sight. Some other brands have a more discrete connection to their RGB pad.

USB Passthrough! :-)

The surface itself is liberating. Other than the pad itself, the USB pass-through means effectively this pad uses 0 USB ports. The best part though is that the RGB lighting can serve a very useful function with the Corsair *effects* (3rd party software) engine. Mine is set to change from off to blue to green to yellow to red depending on CPU/System load, combine with an audio visualizer that works great with the lights on the side.
So the functionality of the lights showing useful info and USB Passthrough are the two biggest selling points for me. Otherwise, great build, great buy for me.

Amazing Mouse Pad with Great Lighting
Posted .

Pros-
1) Great footprint. Just the right size for any task including gaming. It is the same thickness as any premium hard mouse pad.
2) Great lighting effects. Bright and extensive selections.
3) USB Pass-Through - While I am not using it currently, this is the main feature that sets this mouse pad apart from the Razer Firefly.
4) The hard surface is very well textured, but my Logitech G502 responds quite well as far as speed goes. I would say that it is more on the control versus speed side of the spectrum if I had to pin it down, but I think they created a happy medium.
5) Very easy software with no apparent glitches that I have noticed. It can link with other Corsair RGB products, but I tend to like the Logitech RGB lineup, such as the G502 Mouse and the G910 keyboard.
6) Even if the lights die in the future, I am sure it will still be a great mouse pad! :)
Cons -
1) Expensive for a mouse pad.
2) Very new and lightly reviewed, but it is just a mouse pad. The lights work, the surface is nice, and the USB port is a bright idea.
3) The USB port is encased in a fairly large hump on the front of the mouse pad. I di not find it a problem, but some gamers who have their mice set to a less sensitive DPI may find it intrusive. I found no issues, but I set my mouse at around 6000 DPI sensitivity. It may be a good idea to consider a wireless gaming mouse if you have issues with the USB port and use it for a flash drive, external hard drive, or some other USB device.
4) USB 2.1 - while it is not a big deal, you would expect USB 3.0
Overall-
I think it was a great purchase from a very reliable company. If you have the money to burn on a mouse pad and you want cool lights and the only mouse pad I know with a USB port, don't hesitate to pick one of these up!!! I strongly recommend this product!

Right size. Surface is nice lacking texture and doesn't impead my mouses movement at all. Color light up and customization is neat. Only thing I don't like is the USB port is right in the middle at the top and gets in the way of your mouse cord. A ridiculous design oversight.

The Corsair Utility Engine application was easy to navigate and set up the Polaris. I have the Rainbow lighting effect on at all times as to take advantage of the incredible lighting effect.
One main reason I chose this RGB mouse pad over the Razer FireFly was due to the extra USB passthrough on the mouse pad connection. I wasn't forced to sacrifice a USB port for my peripherals, seeing as I am limited on ports on my laptop.
The hard surface of the Polaris works well, as one would expect a mouse pad should. There was little to no friction when gliding my mouse across the mouse pad. The only down side I'd have on this is that there seems to be a sort of rough feel to it. It doesn't hinder the functionality of my mouse in any way. However over time I notice dust accumulations on my pad that stand out. Wiping it with a damp cloth does the trick. At this point its just me being picky

Corsair Ecosystem Mousepad

If you need an RGB mousepad you can't go wrong with this one, especially if you are thinking about the Corsair ecosystem. Corsair sells high quality products, and with Que / the Corsair software you can customize the RGB lights. It's a hard top mousepad, and takes up a good deal of space so be ready for that. I highly recommend this pad.

The mouse pad is a wonderful size to where my mouse never has a risk of falling off a pad if I get too articulate with my mouse movements. The built in USB port and rgb light syncing with the other Corsair products is just the proverbial cherry, as it were.

I saw this was available a while back and I really wanted to get one. My friend just finished his build and I went over to see things and action, and I got this almost immediately after I left his house!
It is a great mousepad, the extra USB is very handy the fit and finish is very well done, the RGB is just awesome and complements any build scheme perfectly! Good surface area (not going to be bumping into the top portion of the pad) and looks like it should last for a while.

Before you order, check the size. This is a large mouse pad!
It has a usb port so you can just plug the pad into your computer, then plug the mouse into the mouse pad. I haven't had any issues at all. If you have a Corsair mouse, you can also use the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) program to sync their colors. Or, just set individual colors, or turn it off...whatever you want.
The mouse pad is solid, mice work great on it, and it has a large area. Much larger than the Razer Vespula (which I also have). It does not have any sort of wrist rest on it, which is good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. Just make sure there's room on your desk for this!

This mouse pad is solid. It's a nice size with a hard surface. The RGB is a plus and can be synced with other Corsair RGB components. The usb pass through help free up a usb port.

Well the pad is smooth, really smooth. The mouse easily glides across the pad with little to no friction. The pad doesn't move, and it isn't too big either. The lights are adjustable and they are not too bright. The USB on the pad is meant for wireless, so if you want to use the usb on the pad i suggest u get a wireless or hook it up to your desktop because a wired mouse's cord gets tangled and stays in the way.

I got it because of the RGB and I love it. It's a perfect size and the USB I thought was pointless came in handy with my headset. Some people say the USB port gets in the way but I'm not really having problems with it while gaming. The RGB is nice but the only con is the surface of the pad. But after a few games I got use to it and love it now.

It is a fancy mousepad with lights. I got this mostly a because I can clean the mouse pad regularly by wiping it down.
The surface is super smooth, your mouse will glide across it like you never thought it could.
It has a USB port on it to plug something in, such as I use it for my xbox controller, nifty.
The size is good for gaming, plus with the extra smooth movements, you never lose a movement.
It actually took time to get used to because it made the mouse movements extra twitchy at first.
The only downside is if a small crumb gets on it from a chip or a grain of salt, you will feel it. Makes the mouse feel broken, it's not of course. Just wipe it off and good to go again. Also if you tilt your mouse when moving, you will feel it. I didn't realize I tilted my mouse till now.
Finally, it is a bit pricey for what it is.

I love this mouse pad especially since its a hardtop so I don't have to worry about the edges fraying. The rainbow lights going around the edge really look great since no one has really seen such a thing and it goes perfectly with my keyboard and mouse. The only downside would be the part that the cord goes to, my mouse cord hits it sometimes which would suck when playing competitive games.

I actually initially thought I was purchasing the cloth version, but I couldn’t be happier that I ended up with the hard top. It was a little different at first, but I got used to it quickly and now I love it. The lights are beautiful and easy to customize with Corsair’s software. The pass through on he back is a huge bonus also. 10/10 would recommend
