    Corsair i7500 What a treat!

After considering several options, I went for this brand/configuration. My main use for it is gaming, & some productivity. First time configuration was a little bit tricky, as my monitor (a Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED) couldn't "see" the PC, but I think what interfered with the PC's boot up system was a wonky wireless keyboard/mouse combo that I had (Lenovo brand). Once the issue was resolved (by the Geek Squad, & I also have Best Buy Total membership), I saw what I got into, what a treat! I've been trying games like Spiderman Remastered, The Witcher 3 & Red Dead Redemption 2 on ultra settings (using Intel's DLSS). I'm not one to do reruns of games I've completed, but in this case they look so amazing, I'm giving them a second go. Set up is standard Windows 11 (I change the default browser to Chrome), doesn't come with a lot of bloatware - but with 64 RAM in memory, the thing could be running ads like Times Square in NY, & it would still operate like a breeze, haha! The iCue system is easy to use/intuitive & comes with presets, letting you add your own configurations, which brings a "festive" environment to the experience. Cooling system is great, powered by liquid cooling, it also has 6 fans operating (3 front, 2 on top, one on the back). The fans are really quiet, even when pushing the envelope with PC games on ultra settings - using headphones makes them imperceptible. Cable management inside the case is clean and tidy, everything seems easy to reach with no hassles. It has a glass door to access the interior components. Another great thing to consider is that you can easily upgrade, if needed, with no problems. This PC doesn't come with a lot of proprietary parts. Warranty is 2 years, which is better than any other brand out there. Only thing against? it's pricey - but totally worth it when the quality is this good. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, awesome PC so far.

To preface this, typically I build my own computers but this time around I was looking to purchase a new computer whether that be parts, or a pre-built. Looking at the price I found the difference not to be too great whether building it myself versus just buying this. The computer runs perfectly smooth, I’m a streamer and do some pretty intense gaming and I have been able to run max settings for everything from Cyberpunk to Fortnite, all at 4k @ 165 fps without a sweat. Even in long gaming sessions the computer runs very quiet and it runs extremely cool. If you’re thinking about purchasing this computer, I completely recommend it! It’s a beast! I added a picture to show without the glass so you could see the type of graphics card, and how neat everything is!

I've had this for about a week now, spending a lot of that time getting it set up as I like. Except for some minor internal damage during shipping, it has been problem free, and it aces various benchmarking tests like 3DMark, something like better than 99% of tested PCs per that one. As for the shipping damage, after gently pulling out the interior packing foam, I noticed a little plastic piece rattling around inside the computer. I couldn't make heads or tails of what it was, but I set it aside. Later I was installing a 2.5Gb NIC (because the onboard Intel networking causes problems if you have ipv6 turned on, and Intel's suggested fixes haven't worked for me), and noticed that the locking tab on the PCIe slot looked a lot like the broken-off piece of plastic. I had to feel around under the GPU, but sure enough, it didn't seem to have a locking tab. Googling around, it seems that most PC mavens feel that there shouldn't be an issue with no locking tab, since the card will be screwed into the case anyway—in the case of the RTX4090 in this machine, with three screws (!)...what I'm saying is, the GPU is huge, bigger even than the 3090 I had in my last PC. At any rate, just to be safe I installed a GPU booster to provide some support to the right side of this monster GPU. Since the PC booted right up with no issues, and I haven't had any since, I've decided to keep it. I'm sure Best Buy would gladly swap a new one for me, but at least the motherboard would have to be tossed, an MSI Pro Z790-P WiFi in mine, and that seems wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. But in the future if I have to send it to Corsair for repair, I perhaps naively expect Corsair to *not* claim that I caused any damage based solely on the fact that the GPU slot's locking tab is missing, although I plan to point to this review as evidence that it came that way. Any Corsair reps reading this and want to reply? (Or do they only read and respond to the low-rated reviews?) I still have a couple of weeks where I could return it to Best Buy, and I may call Corsair in the interim just to verify (but again, if a Corsair rep wants to respond here, that would be good and would save me some time. ;-) )

I’ve only purchased 4 pre-built PCs in my life, but this is the best build quality I’ve experienced. No major complaints so far. I’ve tried several ray-tracing games and had great results. The 4090 doesn’t get close to throttling territory and runs at 70c during load. The 14900 stays at 60c while gaming and on one rare occasion I saw that it hit 84c for a few seconds during shader caching. Overall the temps seem to be on par with what I expected. The system is relatively quiet, my previous laptop was louder. The iCUE software is not bad, I’ve usually hated the bloat software on my previous systems. I’m slightly annoyed that I can’t control dynamic lighting from windows. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've been gaming on Xbox Series X for years until i decided to purchase my first gaming PC. I wanted something that would allow me to play games at 4k 100fps with all the bells and whistles. This PC powers through everything from Cyberpunk to Starfield with ray tracing and doesn't break a sweat. The fans are noticably louder during heavy gaming but they're never annoying and doesn't distract you from enjoying your game. Unboxing and setup were a breeze and I was able to download and start gaming within minutes of powering on the PC. If you're on the fence regarding purchasing, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Cables and Win 11 Pro missing, cables disconnected

The performance is as to be expected: Fast, quiet and hot! Yes, it also does run hot casually. The Corsair was delivered faster than expected to my door. The reason why I gave it only 2 stars, falls on Corsair and Bestbuy. Parts were missing: the cables of the power supply that were not utilized were missing. And I needed those for I added a few harddrives of my own. So I had to go out and buy the cables. Also it was supposed to come with Windows 11 Pro and it did not. So I bought a license myself. Those are details that compel me to buy elsewhere the next time, not with Bestbuy or Corsair. For a moment I was even thinking of returning the pc altogether and just build it myself. Also upon arrival, when I unpacked the pc, I noticed that there were cables disconnected on the motherboard and the GPU. Luckily as a computer tech I have the habit checking on that before initial startup...

      Hello,

You do not need to buy a license for the OS, and there are no cables missing as the computer is sold as a prebuilt computer. I'd recommend returning if you're not happy. Do let our team know directly if you need assistance.

Wasnt too sure about Gamerock’s rtx 4090 that this build comes with, but absolutely no complaints. Runs super quiet and cool. Looks minimalist and just tears any game to shreds when it comes to performance. Got over 130fps on my Alienware 21:9 1440p monitor playing Cyberpunk with DLSS on. Love this machine. Hope it holds for years. I gave up PC gaming when the xbox 360 came out because it was just so much better. But now I have a decent paying job in my 30’s, I decided to buy the best money can offer. So far so belligerent.

Wanted an upgrade from the i9 9900k and 2080ti so I bought this for myself as a christmas present. So far it works great! Everything is noticeably more responsive. Cooling is managed very well with this power hungry cpu gpu combo. No issues at all, im happy with my purchase. All in all would recommend! Game on! o7

This prebuilt has a higher price tag than others with similar specs but what you’re paying for is the quality. Went through alienware and thermal take prebuits and both of these were huge let downs. This computer has great ventilation and can power through long gaming sessions. If you want your investment to last, get this one.

I recently purchased this and everything with Best Buy went flawless, the issue is the machine itself and Corsair. Upon unpacking the PC and hooking everything up I booted up for the first time and it booted straight to bios. I called Corsair and they had me try a bunch of stuff that did no good as Windows was never installed on the computer. Corsair sent me a link to download Windows and told me a key would be available once I installed Windows. I installed Windows and of course no key was found, it said I needed to activate Windows and limited what I could do until I activated it. I contacted Corsair again and nothing, they claimed that they don't actually build these in house and since I bought it through Best Buy they didn't know what they do. Corsair would not give me a key and said they would contact me once they had a solution. It has been 2 weeks and no contact from them at all. I returned this PC and will purchase the MSI version.

Im going to leave it 5* for now until i get some REAL use out of it. Mine came with the Gigabyte GTX 4090 so i guess its a random draw since the previous review received a different version of the 4090. Excited to test its limits. A legit review will be submitted later.

Beast of a PC. Great prebuild. Only wish it was AMD over intel for CPU. CPU gets close to 78-80 C on high stress long sessions like 16 hours. Havent hit 80 yet.
