What a mixed bag. First for the good. Great picture and plenty bright even for an OLED. Perfect size which leads to amazing immersion. HDR, high refresh rate, and no lag. And the ability to adjust the curve to your preference or use case which is great because a lot of the other large ultrawides have too much of a curve for me. However... The bad. I'm not sure how this monitor ever got the go ahead for an official release. The curve mechanism just wasn't thought out or implemented correctly and the monitor loses its curve towards the outside edge of the screen on each side. I am on my 3rd monitor now as I returned the first 2 in the hopes I would get one that would hold the curve properly but it just doesn't. No matter how much you do or don't bend it, the outside 6 inches or so on each side of the screen begin to straighten out and lose their curve which causes that portion of the screen to become flat and bend away from you. In fact, it's almost exactly a 16:9 portion of the screen that holds the curve correctly and the extra ultrawide portion on each side are the portions that don't. I watched tons of online "reviews" on this thing and they all felt more like paid advertisements than actual reviews. In fact, it's clear they were. I kept wondering why none of them would allow the camera to focus on the edge of the monitor while it was curved but if you watch some of them closely, you can briefly see the issue I am talking about. I also contacted Corsair regarding the issue. I sent them pictures as they requested and they then told me this was within spec. If this is within spec, Corsair should be embarrassed. In the end, I would never recommend this monitor. And yet, I may have to keep it. I need a larger Ultrawide and all of the others at this size have too much of a curve, especially for using it as a production or work monitor in addition to gaming which I am doing. Those other super ultrawides just don't have enough vertical space for me to consider. Anyway, I'm now kind of stuck with a monitor that doesn't properly do the main thing it was supposed to do and there aren't any real viable alternatives for me. It's really a shame because this is an easy fix and I have no idea how Corsairs' engineers didn't figure it out. (Corsair, I could explain the fix to you in 5 minutes) So if I keep it I may end up making a partial modification myself because it's extremely annoying to use in it's current state. Beautiful picture, and perfect size. But don't buy it folks. If they move forward with this idea maybe they will get it right next time but it wasn't ready yet.

If you take gaming seriously you must invest in this monitor. I already had the 34inch Alienware QD-OLED but this is just on another level. Its not as bright or crisp when it comes to normal workflow environments compared to fhe alienware but the second you turn on a game it is immersive and gorgeous. I really did not think I would notice a difference with 240hz but it did as I was more accurate and aware in the games i was playing. The ability to bend seems unnecessary but depending on what game you’re playing you may want a different picture. The ports in the front make it so convient to plug and play.

This monitor blew me away. Its been 8 months since I made my purchase and have zero regrets (other than my other monitors not being the same quality). For me the size is perfect, massive size for gaming and great proportions for dual window for functionality. The blacks on the Xeneon are so dark, it can make my other two monitors (that wern't that cheap) look like trash in the right circumstances. The bitter sweetness comes with how much my wife loves to use my computer now. I don't think I could find another monitor that would fit my needs and want's any better. I haven't had any burnt out pixels or other issues I became fearful of when reading reviews before making my purchase. We will see what the future holds.

This monitor is everything I hoped it would be. I like keeping the monitor flat for work, and curved for gaming. Some complain about text clarity, but coming from a 1080p 27” monitor from 2011, the text is rendered better than previously, so I don’t mind in the least. Reading websites and documents is no issue what so ever. The 240 refresh rate is perfect for a 1440 gaming pc setup, as even with a 4090 that’s the maximum frame rate you can possibly expect at that resolution with high settings. Combining the variable curviness, the 240hz, and the oled color/black reproduction, this monitor is an absolute dream for eye candy! Only problem is the price you need to pay for the PC to drive it sufficiently. My only concern is longevity, especially with the flexible screen, but that’s what the extended warranty is for. If you see this monitor on sale, and have a PC powerful enough, buy it immediately.

THERE IS A CON. I haven’t bought myself some thing that’s this nice since I purchased my gaming PC. Which was around the same price as the monitor. I’ve always appreciated, good graphics in video games, but this monitor really takes it to another level with the graphics quality it provides. I think that any gamer who is financially stable, enough to afford this monitor should definitely look into purchasing this one. The monitor also provides USB data transferring ports on the monitor itself, if you don’t have enough ports for your PC. I have an all corsair set up now. And it looks amazing with everything. if you do plan on purchasing it, I recommend that you look at your games, resolution settings, to make sure that it actually supports the monitors resolution. So far the games that I have seen the supporting ate rainbow, six siege, apexlegends, smite, Warframe, and many more. So far the only one that I see that doesn’t support it is Valorant. Valorant stretchs across the screen, but will have black borders on the side of the game because the game doesn’t stretch out to that resolution. And also keep in mind certain games, do you support the resolution, but you may be limited only at the main menu. Because the main menu doesn’t support the resolution. But the endgame matches actually do support it. For example, if you play smite in the main menu, there will be black borders across the screen, but once you load into the game the game to stretch across the monitor. Now for the con, the only con that I have experience with this monitor, is when you purchase a monitor this big, you have to make sure that your graphics card also supports the resolution. So far the only game that I’ve had troubles with frames and using the monitor for gaming, is Apex legends. The game has become so framey for me while all other games remain the same.

First look dip into untrawide and I'm glad rhe curve can be adjusted. Use the monitor for my work laptop and gaming PC. I like the thing knows to swith. Inputs and it's a game changer when it comes to managing peripherals. I bought the desk bolted stand which is loke a $30 extra. It is a must to reduce the amount of space the monitor stand takes up on rhe desk.

Really great monitor for gaming and split-screen stuff! I really wish the Picture-by-Picture feature filled up more of the screen without leaving so much black space, but certain odd resolutions make it a little better for each computer’s screen. The stand was one of the reasons I went with this monitor, since it opened up my desk so much after having two monitors with arm stands that didn’t leave much room on the desk itself. No complaints after a month or so of full use for work and gaming! Would recommend if you have the budget

Firstly, this was an upgrade from an Asus 34"/100hz. Let me just say it is absolutely beautiful! The oled colors are incredible. All the people worried about pixel density..nat an issue. Plus due to the richness of the oled I had to turn the brightness down some. The same LG screen was also on sale but I didn't want that much curve. The Corsair is just right for my viewing. Slightly more expensive when on sale but worth it. Seriously would give it more stars. Plus it has a built in pixel reset for those worried about burn in with a reminder for 8 hrs...me, I just turn it off while away. Like I said ..beautiful monitor

First let me start by saying if you want a near perfect balance between screen size, Resolution and refresh rate plus the best panel technology in oled. Then this might be for you. Granted if you are willing to invest in your happiness. I have a 27 inch locally dimmed 4K 144hrtz monitor as my main before I got this Corsair flex. And while I was very happy with that monitor. It is difficult to run native 4K even with a 12700 and a 3080. I would have to run dlss and while it worked, I personally could see the difference. So having this 45 inch oled beast running at a more suitable 1440p I get the full resolution plus up to 240hrtz(on less demanding games of course lol). I have a 55 inch oled and I know that nothing beats it. Colors are just beautiful and accurate. Albeit with a small hit to brightness. But my eyes get fatigued with super bright panels. This Corsair monitor is perfectly balanced imo. The selling point of this monitor might be the ability to curve the monitor and flatten the monitor to many(easy to set curve). But to me I love a curved monitor wether I’m playing a racing game like forza, need for speed or warzone or overwatch 2. It all feels immersive while curved. Tho I may go flat later on if I get bored with the curve. And that’s the beauty of this thing at the end of the day right? Af far as gaming goes it is amazing. Super fast response time high refresh rate and just over all easy to enjoy and love. You don’t get any ghosting or any input lag. You don’t get light bleeding and haloing ether. It just works as a we gamers come to hope for. I love it. I’m sure you will too. No it’s not 4K but unless you have a 4090 or maybe even a 4080. You won’t be able to comfortably run that resolution. Maybe In a few years we all can run 4K with ease but until then this should be perfect. Plenty of ports usb and type C as well. Hdmi and display port. All you need. I did hook up my ps5 but it doesn’t currently support ultra wide screens just yet, just 1440p. So I won’t be able to use it that way. But that’s fine. Now don’t get me wrong this 45 inch monster has some issues. It’s not perfect by any means. Such as the pixel density is kinda low for on screen text and even the menu text looks blurry. I don’t read a lot online as far as using my gaming pc so this doesn’t bother me. It may bother some tho. I have to put that out there. Also you cannot adjust height at all or vesa mount this. The stand houses all the Components so it’s there to stay.again these small issues do not bother me at all. But for the price point it might be an issue. I’m a simple man who loves to enjoy different games to relax my mind with all the stresses of life and I have learned that gaming helps alot of people enjoy there lives too and this monitor brings me happiness and that’s all that matters. Good luck and I hope y’all enjoy gaming on this as much I do. Please note: just in case you get this or are a new gamer make sure to change your pc settings to allow for the 240hrtz and also change the color profile to 10bit as PCs will usually default to a lower setting. If you don’t know how, look it up online they will guide you on how to change the settings!

This is a great monitor for everything, especially gaming applications. I love the bending screen. This OLED panel is amazing. Its contrast ratio is extremely impressive, very deep blacks with a really wide color gamut. Games look amazing on it, especially with HDR enabled. Videos look wonderful as well. The screen is HUGE at 45 inches diagonal and I really like that it’s ultra wide. the 21:9 cinematic ratio is great for gaming and video content. It is also great for working, I have a lot of space to have the programs I regularly use open (Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Slack among others). When I fired up Fortnite, it was really awesome to get all that extra real estate from the 21:9 ratio. Something like Rocket League where you're tracking the ball really adds a lot too. The monitor has an amazing refresh rate. My gaming computer can put out over 100 fps easy and this thing has no issue keeping up at 240hz. It also has AMD Freesync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync which reduces visual artifacts, screen tearing, and latency. The response time is super low at 0.03ms. The ability to bend the monitor to switch between flatscreen and 800R Is amazing. I use the monitor in flatscreen mode when I’m working on my work laptop or surfing the web. When I fire up my gaming computer, I bend the screen in to get a more immersive experience. It’s excellent. I was really worried I was going to bend it too far but it is intelligently designed inasmuch that it makes a click when you extend it to its full curve. One of my favorite parts about this monitor is the input/output (I/O) integrated in the stand. Not only does it have display ports, it has multiple HDMI in ports and USB C in ports which allow me to have both my work laptop (MacBook) and my gaming desktop pc hooked up at the same time. It also has built in USB ports and headphone jack so it essentially acts as a usb hub for my machine as well. I wish that the monitor was height adjustable, but I think it’s not due to the bending mechanism which makes sense. I really feel like the height it’s said at is very ideal, and it does allow you to angle it up and down. Overall, I’m really happy with this monitor. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a gaming setup that is flexible and can be used for multiple application.

Love the size and the wide screen, but of course, we're here to review. Pros are incredible picture quality, 240hz, Nvidia compatability (Nvidia software picked it up right away with no trouble), and ability to choose between flat screen for working and curved for gaming, or really just your choice of bend. Cons? It takes two people to curve. The base is stable enough for the monitor, but not for pulling the screen into a curve. It tilts with a small amount of force (my cat couldn't knock it over though) when pulling the retractable handles. Quirks? I had no idea why my screen looked like it was shifting every so often. Turned out it was a feature where it shifts a pixel every minute or so to help prevent burn in. I also didnt know it tilted up and down via a handle at the base, but overall, a great monitor. Don't rely on the anti-burn in features - set yourself up for success and move your icons and let your background cycle every so often. It does have a screen washout feature and will pop up with a recommendation to perform the wash if the moniot has been on for 8 hours or more. Zero dead pixels on arrival. 5/5 stars if it wasn’t so difficult to curve. Still recommend if you're looking for a great OLED widescreen monitor for gaming and work!

I did return my unit. It is an amazing monitor. It has lots of features, but that is all this one is good at. Yes the picture is amazing and has fast response time. But there are many reasons i returned my unit. One reason is the pixels per inch was giving me headaches and makes the games look not so detailed. Also the brightness is not great. Then there is the advertisement on the box saying it works with icue. But I could never get mine to show up in the icue menu. I did eventually have to return it and I purchased the g8 from Samsung. I will say I have had no regrets about buying a slower fps monitor and also getting back enough money for a setup upgrade with the savings. Yes I gave it a 5 star for being unique, but not good enough for me to keep it as my main monitor.

Assembly is preferably a two person job. I held the monitor up by the stand while my wife attached the base using the thumbscrew. It would have been a bit more difficult to assemble alone due to the size and weight of the monitor and the bottom mounted screw on the base. Also, I don’t know whether it was an oversight or by design, but there was no printed setup guide nor user manual included. The only paperwork included were the safety and compliance information, monitor warranty guide and zero dead pixel policy, and a color calibration testing report. I checked Corsair’s website but no additional manuals or guides are available as of yet. Thankfully, assembly was pretty straightforward and simple. There is a QR code on the removable film protecting the screen which links to an online video showing how to tilt and flex the monitor. The Xeneon’s wide built-in stand is one of the best I’ve seen on a PC monitor. It is sufficiently wide enough to provide good balance and prevent wobbling. It also contains two USB 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The power, input, and menu buttons are all easily accessible from the front of the stand and display input ports and power cord port are also easily accessible on the rear of the stand. The menu joystick is a flat button style design. It’s easy to use but occasionally overshoots desired menu items if not deliberately careful. Despite the sometimes flaky navigation, it is still much better than bottom mounted joysticks and d-pads that force me to rely totally on feel. The extra balance provided by the stand is great. My 35” widescreen and even my 30” square monitors with narrower stands tend to shake or vibrate from the slightest movements or even from me just walking past the desk. This display almost never shakes unless I actually bump the desk. It does however require a ton of desktop space. I previously had dual 30-inch monitors in the same spot using virtually the same amount of desk space that this single monitor now occupies. The unique feature of this XENEON monitor is the ability of the display to bend from a flat panel format to curved. I tried both formats and prefer curved due to my close seating proximity and the more immersive cinema-like effect the curved form creates. I’m using the monitor almost exclusively for gaming, and curved is much better for gaming, especially the racing and flying sim games I predominantly play. The bending action, although innovative, isn’t as easy and intuitive as it appears. I have to hold it at a somewhat awkward angle and it was more resistant than I expected. I had genuine concerns about possibly damaging the display while bending. Once I bent it back and forth a few times, I felt more comfortable doing so, but I prefer to keep it stationary in the curved position most times unless I really need to view a flat screen. The display can also be tilted via the handle on the bottom of the screen but the height is not adjustable. The screen does not rotate horizontally, which is not surprising due to the unique design and mechanics of the flex screen frame. Image and screen quality are excellent under most circumstances. The ultra-slim, display has an extremely narrow bezel and the LG OLED panel produces deep rich blacks and vivid, beautifully saturated colors. Lighting is consistent on the OLED panel with none of the clouding, light bleed, or other issues typically found with IPS monitors. The ultra-widescreen format can skew perspective a little, but it doesn’t bother me because I experienced the exact same issue on two other ultra-widescreen format gaming monitors. It’s not unique to this specific monitor and I quickly get accustomed to it. OLED also may not be optimal for everyone because some find it too “dark”. I personally think the display is gorgeous. It can be slightly dimmer than LED occasionally, particularly on predominantly white or lighter colored screens. This is mostly by design to protect the screen. However, the screen has great brightness most other times and the true blacks and deep saturation makes the colors and environments of my games really pop. After making minor adjustments to get colors, brightness, and resolution just right, it looks amazing. The HDR in particular looks fantastic and even better than HDR on my 4K LED displays. The QHD resolution shows minor shortcomings on a monitor of this size, more so on PC than console, but it’s not as bad as I initially feared. I can see visible pixels during desktop use and on a select few lower res gaming screens, but otherwise the resolution is just fine. Gaming use: I have the monitor connected to a console via HDMI and a gaming desktop via DisplayPort. The monitor has excellent display quality on both devices for gaming. The monitor has the responsiveness to keep up with AAA titles on both console and PC gaming. Both formats look great during gaming with only rare instances where the lower ppi becomes obvious. It doesn’t adversely impact actual gaming at all on either device and likely wouldn’t even be noticeable had this display not replaced a smaller screen 4K monitor with obviously much greater pixel density. I haven’t noticed any observable artifacts like screen tearing or motion blur during gameplay as the 240Hz display aptly keeps pace with the fast paced games that I typically play. The monitor does not have built in speakers but does have the 3.5mm headphone jack. Desktop use: As mentioned above, the display auto-dims on mostly white and bright screens to help prevent burn-in. I’m usually not a fan of dim screens but OLED makes the dimming less noticeable due to heavier contrast and true black levels. It also helps contribute to lower blue light levels and better eye health during use. Despite the dimming, displayed content still appears lush and has good color saturation. The lower pixel density compared to the previous 4K monitor is more noticeable in desktop use but is mostly limited to text and icons. Despite not having razor sharp high-resolution, the screen quality is still eye-popping gorgeous and I actually prefer this display over the two smaller 4K high-res displays that I own despite the lower ppi. Photos and video have a warm, natural look to them and look great whether viewing or editing. The display is also excellent for streaming movies and other content. It’s a nice alternative when my wife monopolizes our OLED television. The curved screen is also great for immersive cinema viewing. I don’t really have any complaints or cons other than not having any sort of user guide available. It sounds minor but I’m left wondering whether I’m performing even basic tasks correctly, like powering off the monitor. Pushing the power button once appears to put it into sleep mode and double-pressing seemingly powers it off. I once pushed it twice and it did some funky alternating white and amber flashing light combo for several seconds. I once saw a brief notice flash on the screen that said I should run the image retention prevention feature after X amount of hours of use. Problem is, the message disappeared before I could finish reading and I have no idea how to find it or run the process. I wonder if that funky light sequence was that task executing. Just one of several things I am forced to figure out on my own without a proper user guide. I’ve checked everywhere for a guide but can’t find anything other than the quick start guide. That’s really my only gripe with this otherwise fantastic display.

Perhaps at first sight you may think this is just some new gimmick by a tech company to turn heads and be one of the first in the industry however once you experience the awesomeness of having the best of everything packed into one gaming monitor might change your mind. If you are like many gamers nowadays, you prefer to have either multiple monitors side by side or an ultrawide for more field of view. Like myself, I’m sure you would prefer to have those monitors with at least an HD screen with a high refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC and/or AMD FreeSync compatible, multiple inputs including DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C and a warranty for your product for peace of mind. Not only does the new CORSAIR XENEON FLEX give you all of those preferred features in one incredible monitor, it adds a plethora of additional features that set the bar for the gaming monitor industry. Jump right in and join me on a journey to the true all-in-one. Let’s clear our minds of the double/triple monitor option that calls for multiple stands/arms/desk space as well as the 42” 16:9 TV/monitor option, both are so 2022 anyways. Also, forget about deciding between a curved or flat monitor. What about refresh rates; how high should you go? 60, 120, 165Hz or more? You can’t forget about resolution, contrast, motion blur tech, anti-glare, low blue light… so much to consider and you don’t want to skimp on any of it or be “one-upped” by a competitor. With the XENEON FLEX, you get the best of all those features. The XENEON FLEX OLED monitor is a monster and measures approximately 45” diagonal with a 3440x1440 display (84PPI) delivering a 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio perfect for gaming and movies. Because CORSAIR used the latest ultra-thin micro-bezel LG OLED, which in my opinion is producing the best OLEDs on the market and well beyond the competitors, the refresh rate is higher than most industry standards at up to 240Hz with a .03ms GtG response time. These specs coupled with the NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync premium certification help make motion blur a thing of the past. Speaking of OLED, which stands for organic light-emitting diode and is the latest and greatest technology for televisions, monitors, smart phones, etc., means every pixel works independently of itself and can be completely turned off to display the darkest blacks and has AutoHDR to show up to 1,000 nit brightness in any range of color. The screen is treated with an anti-reflective coating that helps cut down on glare and reflection which can be an issue for curved displays as they reflect more light around the room. The monitor stand has four (4) video inputs including a DisplayPort 1.4 input, a USB-C DisplayPort alt-mode and two (2) HDMI 2.1 inputs along with two (2) USB-A ports in the rear and two (2) convenient USB-A ports in the front making it easier to connect multiple devices through the monitor including phones, tablets, keyboard, mouse, camera, etc. There is no webcam on the monitor, but it does have decent speakers built in if you need them. I’m not going to lie, bending the screen for the first time was a little nerve racking as if you did this with any other monitor you would surely cause some damage. After depressing the buttons and extending the two handles from both sides, you do have to apply a little pressure to bend the screen however, once you get used to the pressure required, you can’t help but go between curved and flat just to impress friends as they drop their jaws in amazement and confusion. I have found after using that feature for several days, I really enjoy using the monitor in the curved setting as it does feel like it forms naturally to your eyesight which I never thought would be the case and is why I never opted for the curved option in any of my previous monitors. You can stop the curvature at any point while adjusting it and once you hear it “click” it is at its full curved or flat setting. Trying to figure out how CORSAIR was able to pack all this technology into one amazing monitor and accomplish the feat of being able to go between a curved and flat screen without some sort of seam or gap in the case or screen is beyond me. I will chalk it up to magic for now and just enjoy the view and all this monitor has to offer. After having the pleasure of using this monitor, I am sold on this idea and that it’s not some gimmick and would recommend the XENEON FLEX to anyone in the high-end gaming monitor market because you’ll never go back to multiple monitors or have to make some decision on specs or a curved/flat display as this is everything packed into one.

I would recommend this to a friend
