I just love my lap desk, I've always wanted one. It's so much better for my computer considering it's bad for your laptop to be resting on a pillow.. it can overheat... I can basically sit anywhere and I've got my own little desk set up with a phone holder and a mouse pad area... I just love my lap desk.

It's great for laying down in a bed and not have to worry about your laptops fans sounding like a jet taking off because it can't get good airflow. The integrated mouse pad is nice and the slot to ha e your phone stand up is very handy.

Overall, there aren't that many choices for 17 inch laptops. I have an Alienware 17 r3 and this fits like a glove. There is literally no room left on this lap desk once it's sitting on it. There's just enough room for the mouse on it's integrated mouse pad (not removable) and there's a handy cell phone holder just above the mouse pad. Ideally, the phone holder would be more useful if it were a little wider to accomodate my note 4 with case but without the case on, it's a nice fit. Honestly,, though, i would rather just get rid of that and put in a calculator. I use it as a pen holder. The wrist rest is just OK, it's about the same height as my laptop so it doesn't do much good. The cushions on the bottom do it's job and it does stay relatively cool. The material on top is a vinyl type covering that sort of resembles carbon fiber. It takes minor nicks pretty well but over time, it's been getting scratched up due to the weight of my laptop. The wood is thin, yet, strong enough to keep from flexing. Overall, not a bad product at all. When you have a huge laptop, beggars can't be choosers. I'd definitely recommenced this.

I have used this lap table for 2 yrs and love it. Bought another for my niece, as she did not put it down during her visit. It is lightweight, comfortable on my legs and has a space for my mouse. Lost one star for foam leg padding. Pads were not stuffed enough leaving me to feel the hard board on my legs. Added memory foam shredded filling and all is well! I still love this product and use daily. Price is a bit hefty yet I would recommend to others.

You will absolutely love this lap desk it's got lots of room for your computer and for any supplies you may need. I love it!

This is my third try at getting a laptop desk so I can use it in my recliner. This one finally fit my needs and is both comfortable and convenient to use. There is enough space for my laptop, my mouse, and an external hard drive.

This lap desk is very comfortable for your legs due to the amount of cushioning. It is also spacious. The mouse pad feature is the best part of it. I hate using the laptop pad and this alleviates that by having enough space for your mouse. Also holds your phone. Perfect workstation for when you don't feel like sitting at your desk.

Bought this because I use my laptop on my lap and it's great. Much more comfortable and cooler. Side mouse pad is great too.

The LapGear is a must accessory for a laptop. Ideal for when you are chilling on the couch or in bed. My 17 inch laptop fits perfectly. Love the phone notch! The mouse pad is really nice. I gave one to my partner as a gift and he uses it all the time. Buy one!

Perfect size for my computer, a slot for my phone and a built in mousepad! I love it! Also a built in wrist rest! Very sturdy and the dual leg rests are comfortable - feels like they are filled with rice and adjusts so easily to your lap! Highly recommend.

This product is well constructed and very functional. It has plenty of room for a 17" laptop, and still allows adequate space for the integrated mouse pad and phone holder. The padding makes it comfortable to use for long periods of time. It's light weight and the attached handle makes it easy to carry around. Overall, I'm very pleased.

I often use my laptop when I sit in my recliner and this is perfect for sitting on my couch. Very comfortable and not awkwardly shaped.

I purchased this laptop desk for working while enjoying television. I love how comfortable it feels on your legs with the pillowed cushions. It holds the laptop securely in place' has a mouse-pad to the right with plenty of room for maneuverability and a nook to hold remotes and or your cell phone. I love it. Great purchase.

I love this lap desk. I had no idea just how great this was going to be. I really like the phone holder. I love how comfortable it is to work on my laptop when I’m using this lap desk. I hate using any laptop trackpad. With this desk, I can use my mouse anywhere I want to sit. I love it.

Bought this as an accessory to the laptop I️ bought my parents. My dad loves that it has a built in cellphone holder and mouse pad. Makes working on a laptop in bed more comfortable.

We’ve been wanting to get a lap desk for a long time, but never really got around to it and had no idea what to buy. So one day, while innocently browsing best buy’s website, I came across the Creative Manufacturing – 17 Series Lap Desk and thought, hmm, this doesn’t look back. I checked out the specs and read some reviews, which were mostly favorable, and then decided to get it in black. What appealed to me about the product, is the cushions on the bottom and the spot where you’d place your wrist. So a little comfort was provided while it was on your lap. I also like that there’s a slot on the side for your phone and notepad. While we don’t use the part for the phone, it has been quite convenient having a notepad right next to the laptop and we don’t have to move much when using it. All in all, this lap desk is great. We’ve had it for almost two weeks now and still can’t get over how convenient it is to have. It’s a good thing not having the laptop and all it’s heat directly on our laps, and we like the leverage the desk gives the laptop, making it breathe a little. I highly recommend this product!
