Was not able to activate the SIM card at all, kept showing up as invalid. These SIM cards are not scanned correctly so now I’m unable to activate my service and lost my money.

Cricket wireless Prepaid is a decent MVNO solution for fairly inexpensive Talk, Text, and Internet wireless service. The service uses the same network as AT&T wireless, so it works about as well, but for less money. Set up via website or their call center is easy ( except for the ridiculously long call center wait times) I would recommend it if you're on a budget.

It's being bit of a challenge with buying Cricket SIM card from Best Buy, you almost always run into activation issue. This time I chose to pick in store and explicitly asked the cashier to make sure it is "activated" (which will mark this SIM being actually sold and Cricket will see it as a valid SIM in their system). After bit of a struggle, cashier was able to activate. After that, I didn't have any issue when I called Cricket to use it in my new phone, they were able to configure and I was up and running in 10 min.

The online SIM card ordered, which was shipped to home, would not activate with cricket wireless website or customer service. Thus, I exchanged it at store with a working one after few hours of failed attempts and talking to BestBuy store manager. Make sure to test it under the 14-day window or be prepared to lose $9.99 as other customers.

Got it on sale. They priced matched Amazon.com and I already had a cricket phone so everything said and done with saving money buying this at best buy i was able to go home and activate it at my house saving me a decent amount of money having to go to cricket wireless. As cricket wireless won't sell you the sim card by itself unless your getting service and a phone and everything there. And doing it online saved me a ridiculous $25.00 activation fee. So anyone who wants cricket wireless which uses AT&T towers, buy the sim here and activate at home online save your money. Just choose and pay the plan and that's it. Very easy and simple. All thanks to best buy and thanks to their price matching policy all saved me quite a bit of money. Thank you best buy...

There is almost no reason to stay on postpaid big carriers. Cricket uses ATT towers and I am literally paying 36$ a month for unlimited extra, and stock up on prepaid cards when target has them for 25% off or more. In terms of setup. Super easy to port out of Verizon, other carriers. You just need your current carrier pin account. Porting out was all done online and stupid easy as long as you follow the directions in detail.

A good choice for someone who doesn't want to be locked in a contract. The service piggybacks on major cellular networks, so no coverage issues. Easy to set up on an existing, unlocked phone

Bring your phone to Cricket's network. They use ATT tower, so their signal is very strong. Furthermore, they are cheaper than ATT

I purchased this cricket sim on arrival for a 4 month stay in the US recently. I picked it up at my local Best Buy, and activated it easily online when I got home. I opted for one of the unlimited packages as I needed to be able to use my phone as a hotspot. Coverage was good all but one or two places I traveled in the US (one being rural Iowa). Overall I was very pleased with the service and would consider using Cricket again when in the US for a short period.

This is what you need to start service with your own device. It works perfect, and the service is very reasonable. The only negative is that this package should include a SIM eject tool. It seems like the old one came with one when I bought it 2 years ago, but this one didn’t have one.

Very easy to install and getting it to work. But there was something wrong with the website but everything is working great

Best carrier if you want cheap and good coverage. It uses at&t and cheapest. No tax.

Cricket works well almost everywhere i go. Data can be slow at times.
