Bought it for my daughter and she loves it!!! She gets dinner started in the morning and by the time my son in law gets home from work, the house smells good and dinner is ready. The children love it because it makes the meat SO tender!

This slow cooker is beautiful, practical and cooks evenly. And most importantly perfect for making dishes to go. The locking lid makes travel stress free. The size is perfect for most casseroles i.e.green bean casseroles, or baked chicken dishes, and the cookbook that comes with it explains how. The inset dish is heavy but the lightweight durable frame makes it easy to lift and carry. Also when traveling the extra weight helps to keep it from shifting. You can also use the inset dish to bake in the oven, like a sweet potato casserole, then transport with the frame and locking lid , and once you have reached your destination you can plug it in and reheat on warm if needed - saving your hostess' oven for her entrees and sides. If making soups or chili the shape is not conducive - deep round would be better but for the holiday bake and take this is superb! Well worth the money and easy clean up! I would have give it 5 stars if the inset was not as heavy and it was suitable for soups and stews. But other than that, it is a five star product.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! its perfect for a family of 3-5. Left overcan be kept inside to heat up the next day... The dish is sturdy and easy to clean. I bought this one and the deeper crocpot for stews. GREAT BUY!

I got this for tailgating and carrying hot messy food. The rectangular shape is great for meatballs, chicken wings, things that don't need to be crowded. I was waiting for locks so that traveling with food would be easy. Wonderful design and great locks.

The elongated design of this slow cooker is excellent for my needs, requires less liquid than the round/deeper models and is easy to clean. Great for small families and the locking lid is ideal for transporting the completed meal across the room or down the street.

This crockpot is just the right size for certain dishes I like to make, cooks evenly & cleans up easy.

I use this item at a church potluck to cook the whole meal here at my house and took it to church and kept my feet warm seal tight very easy to use

Great product. Cooks well and evenly. Great for doing casseroles. I've also done stuffed peppers and cabbages and lasagne. All came out great!

This is a very versatile device, which is small enough for easy handling and with decent capacity to cook. Elegant design.

I love the non traditional crock pot design, great at cooking food. A welcome addition to my kitchen.

I have loved using this crockpot, I love that it is smaller than the old one I had so I can make smaller meals when needed, I did find however that I have to cook food longer in this crock pot than I did with the standard one that I have. Thats not a big deal as long as I plan for the extra time. I can put the food in the pot in the morning and by the time I get home from work it is done.

Love it, Love it, Love it! I bought this as a Best Buy deal-of-the-day because I figured that some of the items I had a hard time cooking in my other crock pots would fit better in this. I used the very next day, and it met my every expectation. I now have a collection of six crock pots that fit all my slow-cooking needs.

Great for casserole recipes that would be hard to do in a deep dish crock pots. Seems to cook faster than traditional crock pots. You can easily serve directly from the insert which is nice.

Great - except that I just saw the same product, with digital controls, for the same price at Costco. Did I get the old style? I was told at the time that I bought this that it was brand new on the market.

Crockpot cooked well, but don't touch the sides as they get very hot and you will burn yourself
