I was looking for a small-dimension air fryer on a reasonable budget for the office. A quick search of the best buy website and the Crux air fryer hit all the points. I drove over and bought it. The air fryer is simple to use, and in the box, along with the air fryer, is a manual, the ‘turbo crisper’ (the oil catch tray), and what surprised me was four reusable silicone cupcake baking cups. I washed the silicon cups and the basket before using them for the first time. The Crux air fryer is quiet; It's much quieter than the regular air fryer I use at home, and it does not smell or smoke when run for the first time. The unit beeps on first connected to the outlet. When powered on for the first time, the touch buttons on the panel are a bit fussy but useable, especially since they have no feedback. I had to fumble a bit as I wanted to set the time and temperature without pressing the ‘hamburger’ menu button icon on the left. I had to look at the instructions and realized the eight emoji icons meant something to me, and I needed to press the icon on the left. I found my air fry (the first green emoji on the front) and adjusted the temperature and time to my desired settings. The emoji icon-based menu is quite easy to use and descriptive, but you may want to read the manual. The cupcake icon, the chicken leg, and the french fries icons are self-explained, but the rest took the manual to understand. Once you know what each emoji means, it's relatively simple. I liked that it has a dedicated ‘reheat’ icon and a dedicated ‘air-fry’ icon; honestly, those are probably the only ones I’ll use. Still, it is nice to think we could use some of the other options of ‘bake’ and ‘roast’... even though, in all cases, the baking and roasting are not any different from any other emojis. It's pre-set heat and time. This air fryer is remarkable for its price, size, build quality, and features. I look forward to grilled cheese sandwiches, mini egg bites, and other ‘air-fried’ foods at work. I did test out the silicone cups with some egg bites for the morning; it works rather well. The eggs were easy to extract after cooking. Cook time on the Crux unit matched my bigger air fryer, which I regularly use for making egg bites. I noticed that Crux sells additional silicone trays at best buy. It is nice to see a manufacturer provide something extra in the box, much less availability of other accessories in the retail market. I highly recommend this air fryer if you are looking for a machine for the home, office, or dorm.

Excellent Air Fryer. Nice size and color too. I was so happy with this Air Fryer that I bought one for my office. A must buy. Easy clean up too. I traded my old Air Fryer for this one and no regrets. It’s a must buy. You will not be disappointed. Great price too.

I was so surprised to say the least. I waited a few months to write this review because I really wanted to test the air fryer out. This machine is small but mighty. It works just as good as the high end name brands. The basket fits 2 medium sized breast to help envision the size. I’ve cooked everything you can possibly air fry and it does not disappoint. Easy to clean and handle, even the beeping noise it makes when the food is completed is pleasant. Very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend!

Definitely a great deal!!!! The price was perfect and the size is great for myself and a friend. I used it last night and there was no plastic smell as other people mentioned it cooked everything perfectly and it tasted delicious. Definitely recommend this product for anyone looking to eat healthy meals

Super easy to use, super easy to clean. This was our first air fryer, and we plan to get an additional one for larger meals. This is perfect for 1-2 servings of things, but when we cook for everyone we will want more space. Love the color and it looks great in our kitchen. The height fits well on the counter even under our mounted roll of paper towels.

Cant cook? Don’t have time or know how? Don’t worry, the air fryer is here! Basically an Easy Bake Oven for grown ups, as all air fryers are - this crux model is the perfect size for meals for 2 people (or 1 hungry person). The small size and lovely color options were a selling point for me, in addition to the easy to programme modes. I can’t speak to the “TurboCrisp” technology, which seems like fancy made-up wording for “air frying”, but it does its job. Also, it doesn’t give off any plastic or chemical smell while it’s TurboCrisping. I am now a (pseudo)chef!

I was skeptical about air fryers, but after a friend talked theirs up enough I caved. And I'm so glad I did. Not only did I get a good deal, I got a great value. Plus my favorite color. But I've used it almost every day since it arrived. I love how fast it cooks food without heating up the rest of the house. It also makes my life easier at night because I'm frequently very tired after work, and it's so simple to pop a few things in my air fryer and be done for the evening. The controls took a little getting used to, but the manual was pretty clear and I'm very pleased with everything I've been able to cook. My food comes out crispy and light every time and the clean up is so simple. Rinse out the basket and wipe it down, and put it in the dishwasher if needed.

Moved abroad for college and wanted an air fryer to take with me. Fit snugly in my luggage and traveled without breaking. So far have cooked plenty of vegetables, French fries, and small side dishes but in no way is it possible to cook a full meal in this unless you want to spend hours cooking. It comes to temp quickly and cooks fairly evenly as long as you don’t overload the basket. Super easy to clean for most foods as you can just rinse with water and any residue comes right off. One con is the iconography doesn’t really convey the intended purpose unless you look at the manual which is bothersome to do everything. Aside from the size and learning curve, Another con is sometimes the touch sensitive panel can be finicky is you have the slightest of liquid on your fingers or tap it in the wrong spot. Overall, good air fryer for a good deal price so I would recommend if your air frying needs are for small 1-person portions.

This air fryer exceeded my expectations. It's very easy to use with the different cooking modes. Also, is easy to clean and the compact size helps to store it in a tiny kitchen. However, the basket is kind of small but for the price is a good air frayer.

I have been worried for 5 months which Air fryer I need to buy, and I found a reasonable and affordable product, which is CRUX. I air fried French fries, cheese sticks, whole pork belly, hash brown, crinkle cuts, waffle, chocolate chip cookie, muffin etc. I literally try every thing, every day after work. This product has no cons. All you need to do is just turn on the power, and choose what to cook, and wait. BOOOM! Perfect.

I wouldn't have known about this brand if it weren't for Mello tbh, and I'm so glad I jumped on this purchase! I bought two, one to gift because it's so cool. I am very familiar with air fryers and love them, I've had two. what I love most about this one is how easy it is to use, and how compact it is as well! I typically use an air fryer for that fast crisp like nuggets, mini corn dogs, pretzels, pizza etc. it's much faster than using a toaster oven and not bulky so it's easy to store away or keep on your counter without taking too much space up! so far obsessed and YOU SHOULD TRY IT!

Just the right size for 1 person and when my grandkids visit under my supervision. Love the effectiveness and ease of cleaning.

12 nuggets in 1 layer, 50 tots in 2 Layers, 4 small chicken patties in 1 layer, only 1 burger at a time which takes 48 min to cook burgers for 4 people, so I'll be getting something larger to do 1 cook time... And no u can't stack burger patties...I tried... Doesn't cook through. Love it. So easy to clean. Easy for my teens to use.
