I used it to make matcha cup cakes. It works very good. If you make cup cakes, I recommend 265 F, 30min. By the way, no plastic smell.

It is a good air fryer but the internal temperature of certain foods tend to be lower so you have to cook longer on occasion.

It was delivered with no instruction manual and without the silicon cups. It's still unused in the box so I can't judge how well it would work or not. I should have picked up my order from the store.

Such a cool addition to my kitchen! This is my first air fryer and I couldn’t be happier. The design is slick and it’s easy to clean. I’m not too sure I understand the purpose of the Marshmallow endorsement but if you’re a fan I suppose that’s an added benefit too. The fry basket is an adequate size for about 2 or 3 people. For me, it’s plenty but some my want to look elsewhere for a larger basket. Cooking up a basket of fries, chicken nuggets or any other snack food is kind of a no brainer here and the volume adequately works for my myself, wife and daughter. The cooking speed is fast, and the unit is relatively quiet too. I’ve had a great time exploring new and different ways to cook. From egg bites and French toast sticks to bacon and muffins, this appliance has added some a creative new tool to my kitchen arsenal. Overall, I’ve been incredibly happy. Cleanup is easy and its compact size is a plus for me. If you’re looking to dip your toe into the world of air frying and don’t need a huge cooking volume, you might want to check this one out!

Works Well and a Nice Addition to My Kitchen

I’ve been using the Crux Sensio Marshmello Air Fryer for a few days now to fry, bake, and reheat. Even with this short amount of time I feel I have a good understanding of how the fryer performs. This air fryer is sized at 3qt capacity, which is decently smaller than my 8qt Ninja Tendercrisp, but not the smallest I have used over the years. Based on what I cook I know that a 3qt makes enough food, in one batch, for 2-3 people. In most cases this is plenty since I have 2 small kids, and I really try to avoid pulling out my much larger Ninja for these smaller amounts. I’ve gone through and made nachos, reheated fries and tenders, cooked some frozen cordon bleu, and even made cupcakes. Prior to getting this fryer I didn’t realize it was done as a collab with the musician Marshmello. I’m old I guess, so it took my partner’s teenagers to point this out, since I didn’t really know much about him. Regardless there is some Marshmello inspired elements on the fryer body. The Crux logo has been modified to replace the “u” with Marshmello’s logo, and the custom preset’s icon is also his logo. This air fryer uses an LED display and surface touch buttons for the interface. The display shows the 8 different cook mode symbols, and a combo of the time remaining and cook temp. The surface touch buttons allow you to navigate the icons on the display, adjust the temp or time up and down, and start/pause the cook. There are 7 presets and 1 configurable setting that you can save. The presets are cupcake, fries, air fry, reheat, roast, chicken wings, and bake. Each preset can have its time or temperature adjusted to suit your needs. The touch buttons themselves are very responsive, and the display is very clear and easy to read. The controls themselves took a little getting used to since you have to hit the menu button to cycle through all of the presets. To adjust time or temp you have to tap the time/temp button until the display shows the setting you want to change, and then use the arrows to adjust. Other than the really odd, bordering on frustrating preset order, the interface works well and is easy to use. As far as using the appliance – I had a pretty good experience. This isn’t my first air fryer so I knew what I should expect. Operation was quieter than my other air fryers and it came up to temp quickly. For air frying I made nachos and a frozen cordon bleu. I also frequently used reheat for fries, tator tots, and chicken tenders for my kids. I was able to put a pretty big pile of fries in and they crisped up well. The nachos came out great with only a 3 minute cook time – there is enough space to make a big plate for 1 or 2 small plates. I didn’t get a chance to use the roast setting since I didn’t have a larger piece of meat to cook, but I am interested in seeing how that turns out. I did decide to try out the cupcake setting so my kids could help make some dessert. I used the included silicone cupcake molds, and I made my batter with a box of cake mix from the store. You can only make 4 cupcakes at a time (there are 4 silicone molds). The preset sets the temp to 360 and time to 15mins. I found that 15min was too long, so I backed it down to 13 and that was better. I originally cooked the first 2 batches with the crisper tray installed – there were no instructions for what to do with the crisper tray for this setting. On the 3rd batch I removed the tray and was able to cut the cook time down to 12 min. The cupcakes honestly did not rise uniformly. They rose the most on whichever side was closest to the middle of the basket. I think there was likely a bit of a temperature gradient that prevented a uniform cook on the cupcakes. I will say that cooking cupcakes in the air fryer is somewhat pointless compared to an oven. At 12min a batch I made 17 cupcakes totaling over an hour of cooking. It would have been 12-15min in a regular oven. If you are making a small batch of batter from scratch then it makes a little more sense, or if you are using the smaller pouches of mix for muffins. The biggest benefit here is the air fryer absolutely does not heat up my kitchen unlike my oven. I can see its usefulness in that regard, but it really takes a lot more time and effort to make a bunch of cupcakes. I do have a couple of criticisms. I’m not a big fan of how they organized the presets – air fry is first, which makes sense, but I wished the programable setting was either first or second. Instead it’s the 7th setting, and if you accidently cycle past it you have to go through all the settings again. The order that it is in is really odd – air fry, bake, cupcake, fries, roast, reheat, programmable, and last is chicken wings. The top 3 uses for most people will have are probably air fry, reheat, and programmable – they are 1st, 6th, and 7th in the list. The other issue I have is with the instructions. They don’t really give you much direction with the crisper tray, so you kind of have to do some trial an error to see if its necessary for your cooking setting. Overall, I liked this air fryer. The smaller footprint of the machine makes it a toss-up for leaving it on the counter or putting it away in a cabinet. Its also light enough that pulling it out of cabinet is easy. The display is really pleasant to look and the surface touch buttons are nice to use. My main gripes don’t even relate to the cooking performance. Speaking of performance it cooked everything really well, and it was the quietest air fryer I have used (I have had several over the years).

I must admit, I didn’t catch on to the name when I ordered this fryer. I saw the name “MARSHMELLO”, and I thought it was in reference to the size/shape of the item. It wasn’t until I received it that I saw that the name was associated with the DJ/Artist. It makes no difference to me, but if that is the selling point, it missed the mark with me. [I think it would have been cuter to make the fryer look completely like their “face”, not just in a reminiscent shape.] I was looking for a smaller air fryer for leftovers or snacks. Something that wouldn’t use so much space and wouldn’t take over my dishwasher. This fryer fits that bill. What I wasn’t crazy about, though, was the icons on the display. At first glance, they look awesome. I love the “neon” look to them and the difference colors. What I don’t love, though, are the icons. They look cool, but can I guess or remember what they mean? No. I like things that are intuitive – not where I must consult the manual to figure out simple steps. At the time I received it, there was not any product presence on the Crux website, nor any downloadable manuals. That said, it works great. I used it to make Cheese Fries (Halloumi-Style Cheese Sticks). They came out perfectly. Nice golden brown, crisp outside, soft inside. I also used it to heat up leftover chicken – worked as expected. I don’t think you can wrong with this fryer. Just keep in mind that, when it says it serves 2-4 people, that’s what it means. You could get one small-to-medium size steak or one chicken breast in the basket at a time.

Compact air fryer with lots of preset options

This air fryer is a nice compact size that is easy to operate and has some great preset options. The smaller size is ideal for 1-4 people and portion size. It has a nice look to it and works well with the buttons and display. The basket allows for 3 quarts of food to be prepared within and operates at up to 400°F. Cooking food with less or no oil is a great way to help with eating healthier. Turbo crisp technology allows for a nice crisp and crunch to food prepared in the air fryer. You can even make cupcakes in this air fryer with the provided 4 silicone molds. There are preset options which allow for a certain temperature and certain time to start at the push of a button. Overall a good air fryer appliance for most. This has some tie in with musical artist Marshmello, in case that’s your thing. The unit has been used in our household successfully so far for making French fries, hi Jen nuggets, air fryer cauliflower, and also cupcakes. Overall everything has been turning out well and the food is prepared quickly so it’s a great time saver as well.

Cute little digital touch Airfryer – Love it

This small 3 QT digital air fryer kit is great for small family of 2. We got this our daughter who needs an air fryer for her college dorm living and we found this cute little fryer that has turbo crisp technology where can roast, bake, reheat her food without needing a microwave. This kit comes with 3QT air fryer, 4 silicone cupcake molds, nonstick air fryer basket that is dishwasher safe and a turbo crisp tray. Setup: Very Simple. No assembly required. Just unpack and insert the basket rack in the basket by pulling out the handle. Just plug the power cord and the dash displays 400F and toggles between the time to set. It has 8 pre-programmed settings and has a thermostat that can be adjusted up to 400-degree F. It does have touch buttons and has a digital color icon for each setting with a big bold cook time duration. It has got 1300-watt heating system that is powerful enough and makes cooking time shorter. We tried cooking some fries, bake some cup cakes with the included cupcake molds and it cooks as expected. Fries were crispier and works well for reheating and roasting. Cleanup: Unplug and let it cool before cleaning and remove the basket to clean with soapy water, rinse and dry. Air fryer basket is dishwasher safe. Overall, easy to use, clean and cook faster healthy food and it works as advertised.

The Bella CRxxX 3 quart air fryer model EK-30Z071 is small yet powerful. Light weight and quick and fairly simple to use. At first I found the operation slightly confusing, however after using a few times I found it simple. The first use concerned me regarding the accuracy of the temperatures. It took much longer than the air fryer instructions on the food product's package. I air fried the same product in one of my larger high quality air fryers and found it was the product not the air fryer. I've cooked multiple products with this small yet convenient air fryer and everything has turned out perfect. Chicken thighs came out nicely with a crispy skin and moist and tender meat. Most of the time I am cooking for myself so I have found this smaller air fryer to be perfect. This is a perfect air fryer for small batches. I wasn't sure how much use I would get however I have found that I'm using it consistently. I would definitely recommend trying this 3 quart air fryer. I gave the Bella CRxxX a 5 star because it works very well and just as advertised.
