Makes about all a man needs in the day of a fine, fresh coffee. Try the Cuisinart conical burr grinder if you want to brew from whole beans.

I received the same coffeemaker as a gift more than 6 yrs ago and LOVE it! makes great-tasting coffee and just the right size for a single gal to get her mornings started. Easy to use & stays hot. Reasonably priced as well. Cuisiart makes excellent products.

It's simple to use, has an auto turn off which is very useful. The stainless carafe keeps the coffee nice and hot. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a permanent filter so I had to purchase one separately.

This coffe maker is very practical and good quality. Great for people that aren't heavy coffee drinkers. Takes very little space, carafe is good quality stainless steel and have plastic top. Happy with my purchase!

This is a great product that over the years finally wore out. There were cheaper options, but my wife, who normally doesn't buy top of the line items, wanted me to get her another one.

This is my third coffee pot. Replacing two others that died from constant use. So satisfied that I keep buying the same model coffee pot. Hope they never discontinue this one.

sturdy, makes two great cups of coffee. but i dawdle between cups and when i go back for the second cup the unit has shut off, requiring reheating in microwave. could make one cup at a time, but seems like a waste of filters, and time

I like the size and stainless steel pot but i gave it a 3 stars because it did not come with a mesh filter like the other larger sizes coffee maker that Cuisinart makes. I think it should have come with it for the money and its design.Very very important for me on taste that's why it lost 2 stars.

This is the second one of these I have owned. The first one I had for nearly 10 years and finally the base where the carafe sat was getting a little worn. It still worked fine! The size is perfect for 4 cups of coffee for one person or two cups each for two people. I will order another in 10 years.

I wanted to declutter my kitchen counter space so I purchased this compact coffee maker. The one thing I really don't like about it is the carafe. There's no way to fully open it. To fill it with water, I run the tap very slowly into what is the only opening I can find, the spout. I prefer to wash coffee carafes with hot, soapy water and see how they look inside. The alternative is to fill the water reservoir which does have cup markings on it. This coffee maker takes #2 paper cone-shaped filters. There is a permanent gold-tone filter available but not at Best Buy. The gold-tone one the Best Buy chat agent told me would fit is too big and is being returned. Once the brewing process is complete, the coffee tastes the same as it did with my previous coffee maker.

I love coffee, and I'm always looking for a great coffee maker. This one is perfect because of the steel jar. It does not break when I wash it, and it last forever.

This coffee maker is just the right size to make a couple of mugs of coffee. Makes much better coffee than a keurig or other pod machines.

OK, so I purchased a do-it-all machine from Williams-Sonoma last year for about $350 - and discovered that all I really needed, at least 350 days of the year, was two perfect mugs of coffee per day. So I did my research and this little guy had pretty good ratings so I came to the Best Buy website and ordered it. I've been using it four mornings in a row now and have to say that I am very impressed - the coffee is as good as that coming from my $350 machine and although I had become accustomed to the burr grinder built into the large machine, I still have three (two new in the box when there was a half-price sale on eBay) Cuisinart burr grinders, so it's as simple as grinding the beans, pouring in the water, putting a filter in and adding the ground beans and – poof! – great coffee in a few minutes. I put my big old clunker in a bottom shelf now. I'm sure that I will drag it out a few times a year but for now, and for most of the year, this little beauty works beautifully. The only caveat that I will make: while the gold "permanent filter" are certainly a bargain, they simply do not produce the best tasting coffee, particularly, it seems, with Cuisinart machines. Do yourself a favor and purchase the #2 Melitta cone filters – brown or bleached, it makes no difference. But they sure make a difference in taste!
