I feel like a guy who has bought a PlayStation game system. I absolutely love my new addition to the family. Yes, it's that serious. I just want to play with this all the time. I try to find stuff to cook at the last minute. When I discovered I could cook a chicken in 20 minutes....I cooked 2!!! Once you figure out the time frame for each food group, it would be a piece of cake. This item is life changing....really! I don't use my oven/stove hardly anymore, some I store my cooker on one of the burners. I'm still experimenting with the settings, but it's my favorite this far.

The cost was so reasonable I couldn’t pass up this bargain. The food I have been able to prepare has most definitely turned my wife’s opinion on pressure cookers into a positive opinion. I am looking forward toward future experiences in my culinary education. Yummy for our tummy! OMG Hard boiled eggs in 6 minutes! Yes!

Started malfunctioning only 5 months after buying it. It won't let you change the cooking setting...rendering it useless. Checked my account to return it but the status is “No longer returnable” to Best Buy. At this price point, and with all the positive reviews, I expected to get my money's worth. Similar reviews validate that this pressure cooker indeed has an issue with the buttons malfunctioning and becoming unresponsive. Unfortunately, this is the second electronic item I have purchased from best buy this year which has become a waste of money. I will not be making the mistake of buying anything electronic from best buy again. Don't buy this pressure cooker and always read the lowest reviews before purchasing.

Often we are all consumed with other task and errands that steals us away from the who matter most, family and friends. This item will definitely help you gain some of that time back in the Kitchen. First time I used it I put a whole chicken. Browned the outside with the bird after seasoning thoroughly. Threw in baby red skins and carrots raw...28min after starting the high pressure. That birds was done! I love this pressure cooker. The only drawback I have with this cooker is the pressure release time. Some entrées will require the pressure to naturally release. It takes forever (exaggeration), but it's longer than I want to wait after hearing the beep and smelling the goodness within throughout my kitchen. Regardless, clean up is a breeze and if you truly can't wait for the natural pressure release, turn the pressure dial to quick release but know you stand a chance of ruining your meat. Impatiently, I've tried to release the pressure slowly and my bird still came out juicy. Be careful with the release, too much at one time and you might burn your fingers. Top won't open while pressurized of course. Happy eating. Very simple and straight forward to use, I just have to get better knowing how much water to add and make sure you have a pair of tongues to get your bird out, because it will fall apart easily with the wrong gear trying to remove it. My 7 year old like anything that comes from this thing!

Well, I bought this product trusting the brand name, over the most popular pressure cooker. We liked this cooker, it is easy to operate, quite silent operation. Looks good and it is easy to assembly and clean. It does not have all those different buttons and functions of other cookers. That is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

This has been my first experience with cooking under pressure. I thought PCs were dangerous, with childhood memories of beans on the ceiling at a friend's house. However, it's a new world! There is a learning curve for us new to the system, as expected. Cuisinart has a better guarantee than Instant Pot. That brand has buttons, sort of like microwave ovens that have a button for popcorn and one for TV dinners. Cuisinenart goes by minutes. I found the recipe booklet that came with it to be useless, but there is a lot of info online and good books are available. It is nice to cook ribs in twenty something minutes, especially when they turn out fork tender and delicious.

Still questioning myself why I didn't buy this product a long time ago. Its very convenient, only take half an hour or less to make beef stew. I had save a lot of time cooking. I had ditch my slow cooker since I bought this product. Easy to wash and store. You can't go wrong with it, love the warm up setting.

I own two of these awesome pressure cookers. I bought another one for my mom. It’s so easy to use and clean. Best part??? It is fool proof! My mom owns an old school style pressure cooker. I don’t like using those because if you don’t set it up correctly or the pressure valve is not on right they can explode on you. I remember when I was a kid and my mother blew one up with split pea soup in it. Thank goodness it happened when she turned away from the stove or she would have been hit by it and badly burned. With the safety shut off this electric version will shut off or not take pressure until it’s right. Cooks quick, I make all kinds of meals and desserts with it. Great for meats too. They last a long time too, my first one is about five years old and it keeps on cooking. It’s dish washer safe but I don’t put it in the dish washer. I hand wash it all, I think this has contributed to its longevity. By the way my mom loves it too, she gave away her old school one. You can walk away from this one with no worries of over cooking or burning. If you don’t have one you need this awesome pressure cooker.

Here's the problem with reviews... They usually take place when someone has had the product for only a short time so they give a glowing review because it works so well. I've owned this product for about 18 months and there is something important that customers need to know. At the 18 month mark, the metal on the handle is peeling away and it's not just paint. It's sharp and can cut you if you aren't careful. Search Cuisinart Handle online and you will see others with the same problem. If that isn't bad enough, calling customer service will consume about an hour of your time. They also say avoid the hold time and submit your question online and that they will get back to you in 24 hours. Well, after three days of not hearing back, the phone rep said "no, it's 48 hours". After going through all of that, you will find out that you have to send the defective part back to them at your expense. That's right, they manufacture a defective product and in order for them to make it right, you have to spend more money. I checked the price to send it back and the least expensive method is USPS and it costs around $20. They don't actually need you to send it back mind you, they just want it so they don't have to replace the part. You have to give them the serial number and jump through all sorts of hoops just to make a warranty claim. What is someone going to do with just a lid? It's clear from my interactions with them that they pretty much just hope customers will go elsewhere. Well, I'm here to encourage you to go elsewhere BEFORE you have to deal with Cuisinart and DON'T BUY CUISINART! That warranty looks good until you realize how much it costs you to take advantage of it. I bought this on sale for not much more than it costs me to send the defective part back... and other pressure cookers go on sale here at Best Buy all the time. Do yourself a favor and opt for a better product. Research manufacturers who build better products and stand behind them rather than one who makes big promises up front and then wants you to go away once they have your money.

This cooker is great!! The cooker steams, saute, boils, and fries. Endless possibilities. Just go on YouTube for all the ways of cooking with electric pressure cookers. Cuisinart is a trusted brand. Easy to clean, looks nice, with good build quality. I bought it on sale, used reward points, and paid around $55. I great price for a very useful appliance. It cuts some cooking times in half when using the pressure settings. Great for meats, and veggies, soups, and pasta as well.

Cuisinart - 6-Quart Electric Pressure Cooker - it is a real time saver.. It cooks your food faster than stove top cooking and without the need to watch the pot so it does not burn or spill over. Should have gotten it sooner.

This is an appliance I have not owned until now. Bought it right before st Patrick's day. Used the day we received it. Looked up a corned beef recipe, followed directions and had the BEST meal ever!!. Pressure cooker is easy to use, cooks a good meal fast with fairly easy cleanup. Paid $59 and most were almost 100$ online. Great reviews encouraged this purchase.

I told my friends and family to buy one. It works. It took me a couple times to figure out what meals I can do. I use it to make simple means, cut up an onion, put in beans and that's it. To me, the booklet of meals in the manual had too many ingredients and too many steps. I don't have to soak beans overnight. I pretty much put any meat and any vegetable in for about 20 minutes and it's good to go. It has low pressure for softer things like Lentils or split pea soup. Bef takes a while, still about 40 minutes for roast. It cleans easy and the shell looks like it's made to last. the pressure nozzle is a little hard to figure out, or hard to read the little same color labeling for pressure tight or pressure release. It won't beep or notify me if I Start it with the the pressure nozzle in the wrong dial, which I did once and all the water evaporated and almost burned the potatoes and meat. Easy buttons, I like having only a few choices for cooking. Good price, this was maybe $5 more than most other low priced pressure cookers. Saute works. I would buy another one if I lost mine.

If you remember your grandmother's pressure cooker and all of the good tasting food that came from it, you will love this. It's easy and quick plus I'm not afraid of that bobble on top of the pot. There are many recipes online and I've tried a few with good results. What I like best is that I can cook 4 lbs of sweet potatoes in 7 minutes.
