Better price, same features (minus 2 outlets) than the APC it replaced. Had a few power outages and this unit worked like a champ.

This is the longest lasting consumer grade UPS I've owned. I bought it back in mid 2013 and it finally died today. When it did die, it didn't take anything else with it, so that's a plus too. I've really appreciated the security it brought me during various power failures and surges. Never had issues with false positives either. Always worked when I needed it to and I never had to be aware of it. Battery replacement doesn't seem too hard. Found a simple tutorial online.

Plugged it in and connected my TV, satellite and wireless modem and don't have to worry about power surges or if the power goes off for an hour or so. Can see how much power I am using at a touch of a button. I like this APU so much I bought 2 of them!

Im writing this review about 6 years after I bought this UPS. Because that Is when It finally stopped working. This was an amazing product and worked flawlessly throughout Its 6 year life. I used It as my backup for my work macs, and my modem and router. So It was always being used.

This is the second cyber power surge protector of mine. The first looks after my computer, all in one fax/printer, cordless phone system, and both net talk voip devices for the fax and telephone lines. And this one out tv, xbox, surround sound and ps3. And still has a couple of outlets left for whatever. The overall features are great. It's easy to set up for any device coverage. Only bad thing I could see are that the outlet's on the back are to close to the floor and could cause plug clearance issues. But nothing that can't be worked out.

I was very impressed with this product.I already own the one size smaller but wanted to upgrade and this is perfect.I just wish the plug spacing on the back was better.Other than that it is great

Finally having a very high-quality high-end UPS reach its end of life, I was forced into looking at other options. The manufacture of my previous UPS no longer had the reputation it used to so I avoided them altogether. The ratings for this UPS were good and the unit takes up much less space than the previous unit it replaced. So far everything is working great. Somehow I don't think I'll get the same 16 years of service from it but who knows.

A great system that I can always depend on. I am in an area with small power disruptions all winter. This unit lets me protect my equipment and keeps me from having downtime or electrical damage.

I bought this piece of hardware because i have a power intensive system that would kill my five minute UPS before I could safely shut it down. With this device i have more then enough time to close down everything I am working on and shutdown the system. If I am not home to shut it down, the software that comes with the system can auto close and shutdown the system before the battery dies. Saving your computer from wear and tear of power outages.

Easy to set up and a inexpensive way to keep your system safe from unforeseen power failures.

Purchased this item to replace one of a different brand that failed after a shorter-than-expected lifespan. Price was cheaper than the other brand, had more features, and the dimensions fit my work area better. (YMMV)

With this backup I can stay connected as I did recently during a thunderstorm. Lost electricity, telephones and satellite TV, but with a charged laptop, my router and this battery I could check weather. My internet is received wirelessly by a radio on tower and then into my home via cable.

I have UPSs connected to my computers, and my entertainment system. It comes in handy when a storm may cause brief interruptions. It's not going to carry you overnight - but it will give you time to power down things and save data.

UPS installed and set up quickly, glad to have my new computer protected.

This large tower-type battery backup is excellent for protecting a computer system. The LED display shows load (%), estimated run time at that load (minutes), charge (%), volts, Hz, & power use (Kw). My only complaint is that the power button is lit with a very bright blue light, which seems unnecessary. All 8 outlets provide surge protection, but only 4 provide battery backup. Be aware that this unit provides a stepped approximation to a sine wave, rather than a pure sine wave, which is important for some systems. It works fine with a Mac Pro computer, and gives 18 minutes of run time with computer, 27" monitor, modem, & graphics tablet.

I have enjoyed this product so far, and it has done the job it is suppose to do. I haven't had a power outage yet, so I can't review that part, but for the price I paid I am able to backup my computers. since I have two desk tops.

Levels out fluctuations in the electricity and provides protection in power outages and surges. Software available for download on their website allows you set it up to safely shut down your computer during power outages and you can pick how long to let it run on battery power or to shut it down when battery reaches a certain level. This model is good for 810 watts. My HP phoenix gaming computer and 32 inch TV idle at desktop using 65 watts. Under full load it stays around 200 watts or less.
