You can power a HT system or various other electronic items with this. It's not cheap but it gives you more than enough runtime even with multiple items plugged in. All of the outlets on this are battery backed up unlike some other cheaper models that only have specific battery backed up outlets. This comes with 8 outlets. The screen up front is nice and bright, nothing fantastic, but does the job. This also comes with a Firewire to USB connection so that you can install software on your laptop/desktop computer and monitor the UPS. It has a few useful features on the desktop software. Overall, pleased with this purchase. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a longer runtime while still powering multiple pieces of equipment.
