Read the reviews and loved it. A little over budget, but I decided that the graphics card would make it worth it. I bought it Dec. 2nd and it arrived Dec 7th, I think. Anyways, it didn't take long to get here so that was great.
I unbox it, set it up, and turn it on. It starts up! And then shuts down. I'm immediately upset since this is the second computer that I've bought. I turn it back on and it actually stays on! I set it up and I adore it!
*The first was from Ibuypower and apparently the hardware was bad so I had to send it back. With that money I bought this one.
My games were on Ultimate! I didn't even know that was an option. It was fast and it lasted. I usually play for hours on end. I'd turn this computer on about 8 in the morning and wouldn't turn it off until close to midnight. This baby didn't even complain or slow down. I also like to split my screen. Meaning half would be my game and the other would be YouTube or Netflix and there was never any lag. I absolutely loved this computer.
Then trouble showed up. Every time I turned this computer on it would shut down after a second or two before even getting to the sign in page. There were about two or three times that it didn't do that and so I hoped that maybe it would get better overtime. Instead I noticed that it would have a hard time starting up the computer. I'd sign in and it would take about a good five minutes before I was able to finally click on something. Which, isn't too bad except this was a brand new computer. Also there were times when the computer would just restart randomly or the screen would go black for a couple seconds. Anyways, I don't know about any of you guys, but it wasn't exactly acceptable for the price I paid.
So with a heavy heart I took it to geek squad and they told me that it sounded like the motherboard was bad. He offered to have it sent to their shop, but told me the best and fastest option would be to just return it and buy a new one. So that's what I was going to do, but now this computer is sold out. I'm gonna go ahead and buy a completely different computer instead. But I really regret not sending it in to have it fixed instead of returning it.
I don't know why I'm having such bad luck with computers lately, but I honestly think that if you're lucky enough to get a non defective one then it's absolutely worth it. I even checked it on Canirunit? and the only game it couldn't play was Battlefield 1. It passed the recommended requirements for all the new heavy duty games. So in the end I would still recommend this to anyone. That is, if you're feeling luckier than me...
*Note: This computer requires an ethernet cable or a wifi adapter. So I had to buy a wifi usb adapter which cost me another $75. Just something to think about when dealing with budget.

This pc is a awesome start to those who want to get the VR experience without making a major hole in their finance. It offers everything you will need to get started except a monitor which usually doesn't come paired with any pc. RUNs my games LAG FREE on medium to high settings and on high to ultra on a select few game that I have like diablo 3 etc...

Was looking for a basic gamer for my son. This unit at it's price was more than powerful enough for mid level and higher gaming. Though he's not playing high end games, having the 1060 card let's us know that he can if he wants to get to that level. The i5 processor is plenty powerful enough for all of his needs. I added 8 GB of memory but even with the stock 8GB, the unit performed smoothly. It was really a bargain at the sale price we paid. Nicely spec'd and performs well.

I just got this PC before black Friday. It is as good as advertised. The combination of i5-6402p + GTX 1060 can handle even the newest games at 60 fps on high setting for graphic. The price is also very good. I doubt I can assemble the same PC buying separate parts with the same amount of money. Overall, I would recommend this PC to anyone, who is not searching for the best but decent gaming PC with a limited budget.

Lots of reviews already. I'll try to include info not on other reviews and based on specifically on my purchase.
Bought in a bundle with the Rift (touch controllers not included).
Pros:
It runs the Rift setup moderately well. Some lag/framerate issues but that could be limitations due to my monitor, not the PC.
The price was a major pro. If you consider the Rift package included in the bundle retailing at $700, I got this pc for $400 bucks.
Cons:
Obviously size and weight, considering taking the Rift setup to a friend's house is already a pain.
Best Buy shipped the PC without wrapping. So the picture of the PC inside was on the box that sat in my unlocked apartment lobby for three hours while I was at work. THANK GOODNESS NO ONE STOLE IT
No big complaints other than the video card constantly needing updating
and (here's a big one for some people) the PC shorts out 1/3 times on power-on.
It spins up for a second or two then makes a zap! and shuts off. Does it sometimes on shutdown too.
A little concerning, but happened after the receipt return-by date so... I'm just going to live with it I guess?

My son had wanted an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, something I dismissed out of hand as I was not about to purchase a PC powerful enough to drive one plus the headset. Then we saw a deal at Best Buy that included this PC and an Oculus Rift for far less than we expected. Since I kind of wanted to try VR too (ok, I've longed for one since the Rift was in development stage), we bit the bullet.
This PC is a bargain PC, but it runs well. On startup, it shows MSI graphics, so I presume it is either built by MSI or contains significant MSI components. While I suppose it could use more memory and faster graphics card, the reality is that it is faster than any PC we have owned, and the GTX 1060 works fine for our purposes - it drives the Oculus Rift just fine. I've run a few other system intensive programs on it, though we don't really use other PC games (really more of a console family).
My kids like it because it does look kind of cool with a transparent side and bright blue LEDs.
All in all, it's been a solid PC so far. We're happy with it, particularly for the price we paid.

It works exceptionally well, and runs all my games flawlessly. I couldnt ask for a better price for when I got it on sale. I have a preference for 16GB of RAM, so that is definitely something I will upgrade, as well as the graphics card. When it says GTX 1060, it is the cheaper, 3GB version, which is no better than the GTX 980. But it gets the job done without a doubt. The PC also comes with a keyboard and mouse which I like, yet it might be wise to get higher quality ones than the cheap plastic.
However, in all honesty, if you're not incredibly picky or hardcore into gaming, this is one of the best offers out there. Not to mention, picky and hardcore gamers would upgrade the RAM, GPU, keyboard, and mouse anyway.
It doesnt come with hdmi cables or a monitor, so be warned.
It was ready to play right out of the box. I just plugged a TV in, and the computer into a wall outlet and it was all there, ready to go. Definitely look at the "Important! Read first" thing in the box,
Haha, it shows where the windows activation code is, so that windows 10 will stop nagging you about it.

I bought this CyberpowerPC mostly for gaming, the specs were good and so was the price. Before buying though I did my research on individual parts and CyberpowerPC's, I did find some negative reviews on CyberpowerPC which I'll admit made me look elsewhere for a while but in the end I decided to go with the CyberpowerPC - Gamer Xtreme VR Desktop and let me tell you I am in love, setup was a breeze basically plug and go, performance is awesome on all of the games that I've played on it so far none has given me issues, and everything runs smoothly. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a gaming PC.

Got this as a bundle with occulus rift for $1000 - real good deal. This pc is a real solid build, case is nice. Only minor issue is the fan noise - it's loud - I thought of swapping out the fan for something quieter but now I have gotten used to it :). I use this pc for dev and gaming - mostly dev, but I wanted something that can let me play some vr too so was looking for a budget vr pc, and this fit the bill perfectly. Hooked it up with two monitors - everything works great. I tried to see if I can make my own build with these specs, but I could not even match the price for the pc on this deal, let alone beat it. I highly recommend this pc / or bundle to anyone seeking a budget vr system and a good general purpose pc.

I purchased this for our son who plays WOW and other RPG games. Previously, he routinely complained about his games lagging and he is not experiencing any lag with this PC. We purchased another CyberPower gaming unit earlier this year for my wife and the only complaint we have is the keyboard as the Enter key is in an awkward position. With the price and performance of this computer, I do not mind to purchase a better keyboard and it is simply personal preference.

I've helped many of my friends build a (gaming) computer for themselves. this is a good computer it comes with a good graphics card, a good expandable size for RAM and an okay processor.
I would however only recommend this computer if you plan on upgrading the parts
But if you don't want to build on a computer the only drawbacks that come to mind about this build are:
8 gigs of starting ram (for gamers this is the minimum I would recommend)
processor could be better
and the power supply will need to be replaced relatively soon

Definitely happy with the purchase. It boots up fast and have not had any issues with it. Granted, I've only had it for about 2 weeks but games I've played on it have looked great. Kids mostly play Minecraft on it but bought for them to eventually grow into. That and its completely upgradeable.

After a lot of research, I decided to purchase this pc for my first gaming rig instead of building it from scratch. I couldn't build a PC with these specs for this price component by component and the quality is great. There's a ton of room for expansion down the road, and the 600W power supply is perfect for growing. I'm really happy with the graphics card - not the lowest 1000 series GeForce, but an affordable option if you want to be on the new Pascal architecture. Super quiet, haven't had any heat issues so far, easy peasy plug and go. Love it!

I bought this with sole intent for VR with Oculus Rift. I've done some non-VR games too.
Overwatch is a beauty on here. No lag. Sharp detailed images. Love it.
VR is great. I only have the Oculus Rift w/o touch right now. But I'm having a great time so far. It's got the guts to run it. It surpasses recommended requirements, if I recall. Oculus themselves linked me to this as "Oculus Ready"
My only critique isn't really a critique. I was expecting all my USB ports to support normal USB. But one of them is a 3.1 USB type-c. That's not a bad thing. That will become the standard for pc's in the next few years I think. But once I get all my VR equipment, I will have to buy an adapter. I will probably need every port for my purposes. It's for the best, but advanced notice would be nice

I specifically purchased this computer for gaming and for a few side projects I am working on. It came out of the boxing perfect and it is beyond quiet. I cannot hear it at all. The later in the evening it gets, the cooler this machine works. i would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good prebuilt PC.
I personally do not know too much about building my own PC's and that is why I bought this. So far I am happy with it.

Great gaming computer for teen. He loves it. I'm no techy, but seems to me that there's plenty of room to add on additional components. Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with built-in wifi. Overall very happy with the purchase.
