I grabbed this collection of series because I watched this show occassionally, growing up. This series hasn't differed much from the original but some of the music has changed. They had to make some adjustments in order to offer it at a great price (Quoting the note that accompanied the dvd).

Great set of discs if you are a Daria fan. Loved this show when it was on TV but yet again they take away an awesome show to replace it with reality tv. Great price too for what you get in this collection. Buy it. You will not be sorry.

The big disappointment is that all the original music is gone and replaced with weird 'soundalike' stuff since MTV had the right to broadcast with all the contemporary music, but couldn't get the home video rights because those are separate contracts. Much like the WKRP dvds have the wrong music, and Top Gear when not shown in the UK has weird different music, etcetera etcetera. Still the show is really good on it's own merits and having all the episodes (plus the two movies on the last disc) is a pretty great set.

Daria is fantastic! Sarcastic, intelligent, and way ahead of its time. I thought it may be dated and not as good as I remember it being while it was on the air, but I was wrong. As bonus fun, I watched it imagining Daria grew up to be 30 Rock's Liz Lemon...

Had to repurchase after a friend stold mine. So much nostalgia. Only thing that sucks is that it's not the original songs due to copyright

This is a must have for any fan of the MTV show "Daria". You get the episodes. You get a little bonus material. Just don't be surprised when you watch it and get confused by the music - licensing fees are HIGH so music was swapped out. Still the great cartoon you remember though!

I love Daria and was super excited when I found out the whole series was on dvd. I have been eyeing this for about a year and I finally just decided to treat myself. I love that you get the whole series in one set for a low price. If you love sarcasm then this is the series for you.

I purchased Daria: The Complete Animated Series DVD. I am happy with it, however I thought it was pretty expensive for a DVD that is not really in demand. It should have been much cheaper. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the product.

Great to see all the old episodes of this old favorite, while it is somewhat disappointing that the original music clips have been replaced with generic audio scraps, it's understandable given the cost of licencing & royalties due the originals.

This is a great deal for the price. It's unfortunate that song licensing means that most of the songs have been replaced, but these edits do not overshadow how terrific this collection is. I highly recommend it!

This has been a great purchase; I’ve been looking for the complete Daria collection for quite awhile and I was finally able to find it. Even though the original soundtrack used during the original television run because of licensing, it’s still a great watch.

I was one of many who signed a petition for this to come out on DVD. So glad it did. Only downfall is it doesn't have to original music but you can't expect them to pay for the rights if they're selling their product for 12.99. Amazing price. Amazing series.

Culture and society explained and looked at by the mature eyes of a teenage girl. Societal norms and rules are out the window and we are there to see it all. I watched the series before and found them refreshingly delightful.

I am in love with this series I just had to get it on DVD. I give this product a 5 out of 5 because tv series are usually so expensive and I paid only $8 for it. Great product again best buy.

I watched Daria in the 90's growing up and hadn't expected to like the entire compilation as much as I did. The only real gripe I have is that they couldn't get all the music put into the compilation b/c of the music industries struggling grasp at any money they can save b/c of the archaic way they handled licensing. But music aside the comedy and art were great and it was awesome to relive the 90's through animation again.

I remember laughing at this before my kids were born. They are teenagers now, had never even heard of this show, and are laughing along with me at each episode. This is still as funny and relevant as it was when it came out.

I remember watching this in the 90's it was new, fresh and entertaining. This was before TIVO DVR's season passes and on demand. Sometimes if you missed a TV episode you missed it. This collects the entire run and was great fun.

This was one of my favorite MTV shows, back when they had cool shows and music videos instead of just reality nonsense on...but I digress. Anyone who loves the sarcasm and satire in the current adult cartoons on TV should also love Daria!

For those of you looking for little piece of nostalgia. This is the box set for you, not only does it contain the complete TV series. You also get the TV movies as well, so in the end it's the best deal that life has to offer.

I loved this show back in the day. Daria is sarcastic and snarky. High school adventures with stereotypical characters that you surely know someone like them when you were in school. Happy to add it to my collection!
