Never forget writing down your numbers ever again!

I've read some of the negative reviews regarding this product, and honestly I don't get it. I was able to get a great deal on it cause that's just the way Best Buy is. They are always hooking up consumers with great prices. This LC kit only works with the lancing devices and strips that are made specifically by this brand. So you would have to spend a little extra money each month in ensuring you have the correct accessories, but it's not that much more expensive. Ultimately, I'll pay the extra few bucks a month in exchange for the portability and electronic capabilities of this device. The hardest thing for me to do was to write down each time I took a measurement. My Doctor would always get upset at me cause I never had a complete record. The fact that this hooks up to your iPhone, you never have to worries about forgetting to jot down your numbers. Siri remembers them for you! Does take some learning where all the hidden compartments are tho, so be careful not to break it in the beginning by using too much force.

I bought this device because it is so compact and easy to carry but also because it connects to my iPhone X. I have had the Dario for over a week and it seems to work great but this is my first glucose meter and I have nothing to compare it to for accuracy. The App works great and uploads instantly to Apple Health which I use for a lot of things.

I bought this for my grandparents so we can monitor the data at the same time.

    Apple version is accurate

This unit is small & very convenient, your iPhone keeps a log that your endroconologist will want to see, and provides results consistent with the most accurate meter on the market - the Contour next. The strips are too expensive & not readily available. That is my biggest complaint. Independent ratings show the android version to be less accurate. I cannot vouch for that. I carried this all the time in my pocket until I started wearing Libre patches. It’s a lot more accurate than the Libre patches.

    Don't trust readings.

Readings do not match another meter I use, off on the upside by almost 10 points. Always off so I do not trust readings. Did the meter drops when using new strips but it still shows readings that are way off!

Does not work with Otterbox Defender Case

Thought I would like this and bought it direct from Dario. I had trouble making the thing read the test strips. To top it all off, I had to completely remove my Otterbox Defender case from my iPhone 7Plus to get it to plug in at all. Not worth it if case removal is required each time to use it. Dario wasn't responsive either,
