I had desktop computer that wouldn't boot and the Geek Squad was able to recover the hard disk data for me. They were professional and had the work completed when promised. Would definitely use them again!

Because the HD on our computer was totally shot, the Geek Squad needed to try to recover pix and data on it before replacing it. All info was efficiently removed and relocated to our external where it now safely resides.

Very good service and product. The sales associate was very informative and expert to answer my questions and concerns. As it turned out Geek Squad helped me resolve my PC issues.

My computer had been hacked. I called and got a remote service company (was recommended to me by Microsoft Company). They "fixed" the problem at that time. Then I had another problem and they said I would need to pay more money. I took my computer to Geek Squad. The service was great. They explained the error message I was getting. They backup my files and cleaned up the extra files off of computer. They got some of files off of backup and I had discs on others so that reload would be as clean as possible. Computer is FASTER than it has ever been. I also got the Webroot security loaded on. I did have to call because a scam message popped up. They walked me thru how to get rid of it without harming my computer. Very happy.

I recently bought two computers, a Dell PC and a Samsung laptop. Geek Squad did a fine job of helping me transfer information between computers and setting up both new ones. It made dealing with Best Buy a pleasure.

I purchased a new computer because mine broke. Geek Squad was able to retrieve all the data from my dead computer to the new one. They walked me through were to find all my information, too.

Had to return to the store 8 times before the transfer was fixed. The last agent that worked on it (didn't get his name) was great he fixed everything he went beyond being helpful, patient and friendly. Wish he would of worked on it from the beginning would of been less of a headache

I had a problem with my old computer and GS sent it to Memphis for repair . Not repairable when I got my new computer, (The Asus), the data transfer went smoothly and in less time that we thought.

I had them back up my data while the worked on my laptop.

My Dell computer died. Time for an upgrade to Apple. But have I lost my documents and photos trapped in the PC (and why didn't I backup more often)? The Geeks had the right answer and I couldn't be happier.

The Geek Squad young man who helped me with data transfer from my old to new computer was very kind, efficient and pleasant and took the time to explain how I could do this in the future.

Since I'm not very adept at navigating all the possibilities of using a computer it's comforting to have all my data transferred so I don't accidentally delete or loose important data. And the service is fast!

My local Best Buy has been suffering lately in the "customer service" category. Having very few people to help you is routine. Having anyone to help that knows anything about the products is really rare. BUT, having said that, the folks in the Geek Squad have been AMAZING. They deliver on time (if not early) and will call you if they have any questions about your service order. And they know their stuff - enough so that they can recommend shortcuts, alternative software and even different hardware configurations. I do appreciate having them there.

they did a good job of backing up data, but it really should be part of the service when you sign up for their yearly geek squad program. They charge way too much for data transfer/backup.

my eight year old Dell computer that was purchased at Best Buy finally died. I took it to the geek squad near arrowhead Mall and it was suggested that I finally replace the computer. I settled on a new Lenovo desktop computer. The geek squad was able to transfer much of the information on my old Dell computer. The Lenovo is a little over two years old. What ever issue I might have had. By using the geek squad in the store or on the phone has been superb. For many years when anyone asks me of about buying computers. I have said when you purchase a new computer. You must join the geek squad.

I was pleased with my initial contact with the Geek Squad representative & the service provided with the data transfer. The rep was able to answer all my questions & concerns and my new HP CPU is working like a charm with all my data intact.

I got this when someone got in my computer & messed it up. I had to buy this data backup so they could back up the stuff on my computer & I wouldn’t loose it when they reformatted it. It worked great!

Geek Squad agents were great. The only disappointment was I had to make 2 separate appointments for the transfer of data from my old PC and the install of Microsoft Office. I live an hour away from the closest Best Buy store & had to schedule two separate trips. Not the best use of my time & needless to say; gasoline! $$

The agents installed my soft ware and backup on my old computer onto the new one. Very knowledgeable and professional. They have been a help to me every time I need there help.

The gentleman that helped us was Andrew, I believe...he was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Great employee!
