Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Go-tcha Evolve's auto-catch and auto-spin features as being incredibly useful, making it easier to play Pokémon GO without constantly checking their phones. The long battery life is also widely praised. However, there are concerns about its durability, with some customers reporting that it stopped working after a month. Connectivity issues and a difficult charging process are also mentioned as pain points.

Great for any Pokemon Go fan

Great product for those who love to play Pokemon Go and drive safely. I use this when I am driving doing my errands, so I can spin Poke Stops and pick up Pokemon, it allows me to drive safely while not looking at my phone or trying to spin and drive at the same time (big no-no). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the design is flawed. In order to charge it, you have to remove the wrist straps and the USB portion to charge it is plastic, making it very difficult to pull off without worry of breaking the charging port. Each time you pull the wrist straps off it weakens the plastic USB plug. I purchased additionally an keychain that keeps the Go-tcha Evolve part without the wrist band so all I have to do is pop it out and charge it with wear on the plug (ordered on Amazon)(see photo). My family saw it and loved it so much, I ended up ordering 2 more for them!

The Gotcha Evolve is an excellent tool for Pokemon Go enthusiasts who want to play while driving safely. It's perfect for spinning stops and catching Pokemon during errands without distractions. Unlike the Go Plus and Pokeball Plus, the Evolve has auto spin and catch features. It's easy to connect to the game, with a sleek design and a screen showing battery level. While the catch rate is around 50% within the game's speed limits, it becomes more effective when driving faster. It's a great investment for stardust grinding and surprises you with caught shinies in the background. The Evolve competes well with other similar devices on the market.

Love that it has watch time as well. The only reason for not giving 5 starts is the way it has to be charged. It is hard to pull the strap off and put back on after charging. I am afraid eventually if I don't accidentally break it that the strap will weaken and come loose while wearing it and I will lose it. But I love that you can make your setting choices on the app. It also shows battery life and you have two color choices on app background.

Okay I saw a lot of reviews saying it stopped working….you have to charge it correctly. It will plug into a USB both up and down but it will only charge facing ONE direction. With that being said if you don’t see the very obvious battery icon pic appear on your watch screen when charging, your not actually charging it and that is most likely the reason why many stopped working. The battery life on this watch is ridiculously good so it will last quite some time before it’s battery will just die. Probably a week or so. Never tried it. Pros : crazy amazing that you can drive and it will flip poke stops at a better range out then with out the watch. It will flip poke stops automatically as you drive by them. It will also catch Pokémon as you drive by too. Love it. You actually have to keep up by deleting what you don’t want or your storage will fill up fast. Con: only uses basic poke balls so when you run out, your no longer catching anything. But since your able to continue to flip poke stops you will obtained more balls Huge con: difficult to connect, also drops connection often when it thinks your session is done. Is it worth it? Def yes, yes and yes For the price

This product is useful if you are shiny hunting in Pokémon GO. It automatically spins nearby stops, and attempts to catch nearby Pokèmon. The connectivity is kind of janky, and requires a seperate app to be downloaded on your phone. This is not a Licensed Product from Niantic (the creators of Pokémon GO), so this product is technically considered cheating, and the consequence of using this product could potentially get your account banned.

Once I figured out how to sync it with my phone, I started enjoying it. (Reading the instructions after trying to figure it out worked lol) The one issues I have with it is that it will disconnect with your phone anytime, so you have to open Pokémon Go here and there, but the bigger issue to me is that it only uses your regular pokeballs, not the great or ultra balls. I currently now have 0 regular ones, but 700 great. And over 500 ultras. That part sucks!

Good replacement for the old Gotcha device but I hate that this one disconnects from the Pokémon app every 30 or 60 minutes. It’s not a defect, it appears to time itself and disconnect as a normal part of its function. Maybe they don’t want you constantly getting Pokémon and stops like crazy? Anyways, just know you will have to keep reconnecting it to your game. It does give you a notification when your Gotcha session is “over”. One more thing, the charging on this is weird. You have to remove one of the watch bands and it doesn’t really come off easy. It feels like you are going to break it.

A bit finicky. When it works, it's great thanks to the autospin at Pokestops. But randomly disconnects from my phone and can give a fair bit of hassle. Still worth it, in my opinion. Just prepare for trouble and make it double.

Works for what it is. Since it's a third party item, I expected software issues to an extent. Connects great to my phone for the most part, but no other bluetooth objects can be on at the same time. It could have a better charging option but I just use a portable charger. The screen doesn't always work which isn't a problem for me since I don't look at it when I'm playing Pokemon. But it can cause issues when trying to connect it. If you are having issues, you should just have to mess around with it for awhile before it starts working again. The wristband is bulky so I bought a keychain for it.

Awesome watch! This works as expected. Catches and spins while driving. You can also choose to do one or the other. Only thing wrong is sometimes it will not connect without resetting, usually I have to plug it in the charger and hope it resets and if it doesn't then I just have to wait till its ready to work but that does not always happen just ever once in a while. Other than that I would purchase this again.

I think the one I received may have been a manufacturer return or something? I removed the protective plastic and the screen already appeared fairly scratched up and generally well used, maybe with a new band. Now as far as the product itself is concerned, its hit-or-miss. Ive had a periodic issue where the screen will go black and Im only able to make it work with the app and then days where itll work for hours straight without issues. Ive noticed if I use another app with pogo in the background, it disconnects more frequently. So... its cool but has its issues for sure.

Disconnects when nothing is happening, I.e. no Pokémon or stops in range, which is fine. People just get upset that it doesn’t stay connected even when it’s not in use. Makes sense to me though. My issue is that it just died. It was probably my fault though since I plugged in the watch into the wall brick and then plugged the watch into the outlet. There was a spark and no more watch. My biggest issue is that there isn’t a Geek Squad plan to fix or even replace, so you have to spend quite a bit to replace. But that also makes sense as to why they don’t since it sends like a common issue.

As an avid Pokemon-Go player, I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking at my phone in search of a potential shiny or rare Pokemon spawn. It was driving my partner absolutely crazy. When I'm in the car, at the store, or even at home, most of my time was spent playing Pokemon. I needed a useful solution. Go-tcha Evolve auto catches and auto spins stops. Although the catch rate is quite poor (it only uses red balls), if you live or work near an area that is plentiful of stops or spawns, this device will work wonders. I used it at work since I work near 1 stop and 2 gyms. Within an 8 hour day, I was able to earn up to 120,000 stardust and catch over 200 pokemon (without lures). My item bag filled up rather quickly. The best part - it was completely discreet, I was still earning rewards in the game, and I was also being productive. The bad part - the device will disconnect after an hour. You'll have to reconnect it but it's a simple process. The device will not be able to spin stops if you're traveling faster than 10 mph. It will work well if you're at a stop light or waiting in traffic. I wish I had owned an auto-catching device years ago. I highly recommend it.

I bought this replace the pokeball because I wanted something that would auto catch and auto spin without having to hit any buttons. It works as described. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the interface takes some work to use and it isnt always 100% reliable. Meaning it disconnects and forces you to reconnect all the time. Also the vibration is annoying but without it you wont know if it is working or not unless you stare at it. So in the long term it is much better than the pokeball but I would say there are some drawbacks that you will need to get over.

Overall it never felt like a high quality product. It had connection issues, felt cheap, the charger was always kind of jank. But the greatest value this thing ever gave me was the ability to stop playing Pokemon Go. I was able to slowly wing myself off the feelings of FOMO I'd get when not constantly checking the game, knowing that this device was doing the work of catching all the Pokemon I passed. It wasn't perfect - sometimes I'd find it had disconnected and stopped catching for hours. But it was enough for me to feel like I could finally step away from the game for a bit. Before I knew it Go stopped being at the forefront of my mind all the time. Sometime in 2021, I finally stopped playing Pokemon Go. In some ways, I owe Datel my social life because of this product. 4/5

It does what it's suppose to do AMAZINGLY. My 100 and shiny rates have definitely improved as catching more gives a better shot against the random number generator gods. That being said... It's fragile and doesn't hold up well. Within 2 months my watch face doesn't work (though the device still does) and charging with the little attached piece is dicy. I'm glad I have it but I wish I didn't have to replace it as soon as I'm going to need to

Love this watch. Super easy to use and simple to charge. Best pokemonGO accessory yet. I can catch and spins stops with out having to push a button. Only downside is it disconnects easily if you exit the app while playing and you have to reocnnect.
