Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Go-tcha Evolve's auto-catch and auto-spin features as being incredibly useful, making it easier to play Pokémon GO without constantly checking their phones. The long battery life is also widely praised. However, there are concerns about its durability, with some customers reporting that it stopped working after a month. Connectivity issues and a difficult charging process are also mentioned as pain points.

Broke after a few months, but was great.

I loved this for the short time I had it, it made Pokemon go much less tedious. Overall it was pretty good. The only major complaint I have is the build quality. Because the charger is a built in USB type A male, and you have to remove the band to access it, it puts a lot of stress on the connector - mine broke after a couple months. I would recommend either going with the base Go-tcha, or being extremely careful when taking the band off to charge.

The ability to strap this to my wrist and have it catch Pokemon and spin PokeStops is a great thing for those of us trying to play Pokemon Go while doing our daily drives. The lack of decent protection against water marks down the score though; I never once submerged the watch, maybe got it a little wet a couple of times while washing my hands, but just enough water got into the connectors to screw it up to the point that it no longer charges; which of course happened outside of any sort of warranty period.

It gets the job done when you’re not able to catch or spin. It does randomly disconnect but it’s not too horrible.

This is a pretty good product except for the battery life compared to the previous model which would last for months without recharging, this one last about 7-10 days. Overall I really like the color screen, much easier to see. As far as the watch band I removed it and bought a case from ETSY.com because it a little difficult to remove band to charge. If you have used a gotcha before it’s pretty easy to set up and use. Definitely recommend

Excellent device really make playing Go easy. The only problem I have is it does not seems to stay connected to your phone without having to reconnect after an hour or so, never found a solution to the issue but it is minor since the connection process is pretty easy.

Eh, I mean it works fine a good chunk of the time but sometimes the screen will just black out on me and I cannot connect it to Pokemon Go. When it does this i have to plug it into my vomputer for a while and let it charge then it seems to work again. Even though the battery was 75% charged... but thats the only issue but its bad enough that i cannot recommend this until they fix that issue.

Overall it is a cool gadget, the app never works… BUT it’s nice to have on in the car with your phone screen off and it just randomly catches Pokémon and spins pokestops. It only uses regular poke balls and it’s a one throw and done deal. Like I said, nice to just have it on you and not actually have to be playing. Just keep your regular poke balls stocked up!

I think this is a good product and it does what it's supposed to do. I wish I considered that it takes a lot of pokeballs to make it worth it. One thing that I can't figure out is how to keep pokestop on and turn off pokemon. Seems that with pokemon turned off it won't turn pokestops. It's easy to set it up with the app and get it working with your game.

It's a nice Gotcha device, much better than the first two gens. However, getting the band off to charge it is a pain. And it either has to be plugged into a computer or outlet, not a portable battery. It did not charge with any of mine.

it works but it took FOREVER to set up. Like 3 youtube videos and multiple trys.. very frustrating. Once you get it paired with phone it works, but you have to keep an eye on it cause sometimes it stops catching and you have to re start it. Its too expensive for the headache and there is like no support. Plus a lot of pokemon end up running away. Make sure you have lots of balls to use this with.

I've purchased and returned 3 of theses, none of them lasting over a month of limited use and one not working from the beginning. I really only used this product to test it and for specific Pokemon events. Not only does this product consistently disconnect and have to reconnected, but when I checked my app there were always pokemon and stops available that were not accessed. Those that did work in the beginning, didn't last through 2 community days and had to be replaced. The charging port is extremely delicate and breaks easily if not placed very carefully in and out of the charging hub. So not only does this product work poorly, but it's design is inefficient for being a long lasting product.

Good device takes a little to make sure you have all the sertings the same so it works really well. Would be 5 stars if not for the fact pf taking the band off to charge and feeling like your going to break it. Also screen does scratch very easy.

This is a great device of you can get one that actually works. I had to return it twice due to defect (screen did not work then it wouldn’t link to my phone). Started back in early December. Hopefully the third one will be the charm, but i’m expecting it will also not work after a day or two. Getting service from Datel is impossible. So if you’re paying full price for this, buyer beware. After a couple weeks Best Buy will not accept an exchange so you’ll be out of luck.

It time sometimes not want to connect to my phone. You are not able to use it with the IPad even though the app will download onto that product. I had one for almost a year then it decided not to work. Was not able to get a hold of the company since it was still under warranty.

My wife has one of these and I love it more than the pogo plus version . It might be a bit confusing at first. But if you don’t mind jumping on YouTube to watch some videos they really helped fix many problems people face with it. Going to definitely buy myself one

my first Go-tcha broke within a month. The face was held on by love and hope i think and so i lost the face first, there was no seals on it, so sweat/rain/hand washing were potentially hazardous. This one have a GREAT usb-in-the-band charging system, the screens are easy to read, the watch and Pedometer are great additions while it never removed any of the old functions. I love this device and wear it daily.

It works and got a decent battery life. If it's on all the time, it'll last you about 3 days. Sometimes the bluetooth connection is questionable, and the screen will turn black on you on the gotcha, but it usually fixes itself after an hour or so.

The screen is sensitive and settings are always being changed accidentally. The band becomes separated from the housing. And always disconnects when the phone turns off but app is still running. Plus side, the battery life is great aside from the other things.
