This is a great center speaker. Voices are clear and easy to integrate into my existing system.

I highly recommend the center channel when upgrading to super towers.

I paired this speaker with Definitive Technology BP 8040 tower speakers and I'm completely blown away. The 8040 tower speakers sounded great, but I did not realize how much sound I was missing until I added the CS 8040. I was baffled by the size of the speaker (larger than any I've seen), so take this into consideration when selecting a home theatre stand. But the sound that comes out of it is a amazing. I let my receiver auto calibrate the sound, and this is something I highly recommend for optimum sound. It took me a while to save for this system, but it was well worth it.

I had some 8020 towers setup as a two channel system, sounded good but it was lacking in areas. I decided to throw this center in the mix and immediately noticed a difference in the symmetry of sound for movies and music, highs and lows are much more in tune with each other now. I would go as far to say this center is really a must with the supertowers. My only complaint is that it is massive, literally half the size of my BP 8020's and actually thicker, so you have to have the space for it.

I have had several centers and this one by far destoys the rest. The sound is really good and the angles of the sound is coming out from all over so it doesn't sound like it is small speakers firing from the front in a small box like some of the others I have had. It is big but if that is what it takes...I have listened to loud music, movies, and games and have no problems with the dialogue.

Great sound, heavier than I thought it would, but worth the money, goes great with the rest of the set, clear voices and easy to get volume out of it and all the speakers.

Got this center channel with the tower speakers i got and needless to say the dialogue on this center channel is superb. Even with all of the surround effects going on in a movie, you can still hear the voices as clear as day. The center channel is probably the most important speaker in the system so you should not hold backwhen purchasing a good center. You will not be disappointed. It is large and heavy but gives good bass output to blend with the other speakers. Love it

Due to space considerations (short center channel space in cabinet), I searched far and wide for the best speaker to fit my needs. I tried Klipsch RC-10 before this, but it just wouldn't fill my room with tight and detailed sound and voices. This speaker was a perfect fit and really opened up my sound. Added some extra punch to the center space that really helps the overall home theater experience. Music sounds great, too. Thanks!

Overall a great speaker. I hated in spending that kind of money for a center speaker but now that I have it no regrets!

Hello, Do not buy this speaker if you listen to loud music. For $500 is has no protective circuitry or crossover to protect itself from an AMP that supplies signals that the speaker cannot handle. I had it repaired once. When I reinstalled it, I again used the AMP automated setup configure it. This time I manually set the center channel to minus -3DB and made sure it was set to Small. This did not help. David Gilmour blew it up once again. I am not sure if I'm going to bother getting it repaired again since it will not work given my needs. Thomas
