I needed a center channel speaker (not a sound bar) that would fit under my TV because I pull it off the wall and down a few feet to ideal viewing level. This gives me the great 7.1 sound I want (with other speakers) and puts it right with the TV regardless of where I position it. This also has a great frequency response for HD audio.

This is a great, compact center speaker. Lots of oomph.

It sounds great. I was concerned about the small size for my large family room, however, it fills the room nicely.

I love my new laptop. It responds quickly, the apps load easily and even though there is a learning curve coming from a life-long PC background, it's user friendly with instructions and tab notes everywhere. I had amazing customer service at the Longmont, CO store. They set me up with everything I needed and a couple hours of tutoring to get me started (to get me Apple-ized).

This replaced an older center speaker. The sound difference was amazing. Far clearer than my old center, the actors voices felt realer. Because of the speaker placement within the center speaker, it also contributes more to the surround sound profile. The speaker is smaller than my old center speaker, and its profile fits nicely on the cabinet under my TV.

I was having trouble hearing dialogue in movies and tv shows. A Best Buy Tech recommended I purchase a center speaker. I noticed a big difference right away and the dialogue was much clearer now.

Great little compact speaker that offers great sound quality. If you have a smaller room this is a good choice.

Sounds great and performs well so far. Makes a lot of sound for such a small speaker. Great for going on a mantle where large centers will not fit.

This speaker replaced an Energy center channel, Just needed a little more ummph! I didn't have a lot of room in my "fixed space" cabinet, so went shopping for the best sound from a small speaker and had with DT ProCenter 1000 I got more than I bargained for. Love the sound...very happy with this speaker.

If you have a 5.1 or 7.1 home system and don't have clear front sound but aren't looking for theater quality or filling a larger room but just want your home theater in a medium space with carpeting or whatever to have the punch it should, then this will work for a price point of about $200.

I've used other brands before and this time let the home audio planer at Best Buy talk me into trying this out. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the sound. This finished off a 5.1 system and the audio for movies/tv is nice and clear and prevalent. When playing music its crisp and full.

I bought the Definitive Technology Center Channel speaker to replace an older model that quit working. It was cheaper to buy a new one than to get the older model repaired. I have been happy so far with the sound that it is providing for movies. Well worth the money I spent

We were upgrading our 600 series center channel and after reading all the reviews decided that the 1000 would work better with the 800 series bookshelf speakers we had purchased last year. Best decision we could have made, excellent sound for a small system.

Great speakers. This is the 2nd time I've purchased these speakers first for my home theater in basement, and now for to replace the components in my living room. Sound is perfect...well worth the price.
