My old B&W subwoofer died after more than 10 years service, so looking for a replacement I found this beauty. 600watts for the price most people charge for 1/3rd the power. It's not about being loud, but smooth recovery for those low tones. This does a first rate job in my relatively modest home theater setup.

Sound great in a compact device, looks sleek,no blaring

I love the compact size and the fact it delivers such a good bass response but I dont like the fact that you pretty much have to turn the bass knob a bit pass halfway to get the boom your looking for and since you have to do so the you can only turn your receiver up so much otherwise the sub cant handle the power and shuts off and my receiver is only 700 watts the sub is 650 watts max and I believe 300 rms

This is a powerful sub. So much so that it tends to overpower the voice and midrange details regardless of what adjustments are made.

It's small and it's powerful love the sound of the. Bass

We're using this with a Denon AVR-X4100 Receiver and the base from this Subwoofer is great! I especially like the gain adjustment on the back.

Forget the size. Super bass from this cube. This subwoofer provides superior LFE response for movies without the need to drive it at high volume levels. I considered this the best performer for the price when compared with other subwoofers between 8 and 10 inches. Perfect for my medium sized room with the volume control set at half.

This speaker delivers great low end sound. Deep booming bass.

For music I haven't come across a better sub. Its very powerful, tight and composed. It sounds far superior to large ported subs I have used in the past. Its tiny and the build quality is excellent. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a built in crossover. I'm using it in a 2.1 setup with a NAD d3020 integrated amp and Martin Logan speakers.

Last summer I bought some Definitive Technology front and center channel speakers. This was the perfect compliment to those speakers. I've had a Supercube in the great room for a few years and I expect this sub to be just as good. Rarely do they go on sale , but I got lucky during Magnolia audiofest.

I bought this little subwoofer to fit in a entertainment center in my living room to fill the void that my small def tech bookshelf and center channel were missing. I can not stress enough how glad l am with this little powerhouse it fills the soundscape perfectly,couldn't be happier.

I paired this with the wireless system and it enables me to move it to an area of the living room where it is not seen but heard. The true bass comes out when watching movies , listening to music

purchased this subwoofer and so far it has been performing really well with my surround sound.

I hooked it up and it sounds great, not too overwhelming, but it is really expensive for an 8"

I needed something to add punch to movies and music but don't have a lot of room for a medium to large sub. I have other Definitive Tech stuff and really like them. After hearing this sub in the Magnolia room I knew it was work. Not cheap but I plan on keeping this for a long time.

This super cube 2000 complements my other DT super towers and my super cube 8000 and center channel. Bought since my Denon receiver has two sub woofer connections. I would recommend.

If you want that big boom when watching you favorite movies or shows this small foot print subwoofer will do it. I needed the small footprint for my room and I am not disappointed in the sound this unit puts out.
