These definitive speakers have the best quality sound from home speakers I've heard. Other brands people rave about sound flat compared to these. They are easy to set up and easy to use. I love that they are wireless and I can use with my iphone and iPad. I like that I can choose which speakers to play through the house just by clicking select.

you get what you pay for,i didn't want to spend that much but once i heard it i had to have it.set up is super easy.we use it every day

This speaker provides great sound and was very easy to connect with my dt sound system.

This is a great sounding speaker that integrates well with the system. My only issue is that it seems to auto-shut off a lot after use and I have to get used to turning it on every time I turn on the TV.

Easy to setup, and great sound and clarity for the size. Happy I did not get the Sonos and got these (got 2, one for my bedroom and one for the pool room). Very easy to use. With volume towards the higher end, sound still sounds great.

I'll start by saying the speaker itself sounds nice and for the most part satisfies my need. The only downfall and it's a big one is the app... Play fi has a ways to go. I've had this for less than a month and have called tech support a few times. I'm seriously considering taking it back

I purchased the W7 and tried to connect it to my wireless network. The speaker said it was connected, but the app would not recognize that there was a speaker on the network. When I called the DT support number I was told that the speaker was defective. I then received the W Adapt that I had ordered and tried the same thing. Once again it said that I was on the network, but it wouldn't show up in the app. Once again I called DT tech support. This time I was told that DT wireless products do not work on any Apple routers. When I asked what I could do to work around this I was told to buy a new router. When I asked if they were working to fix this I was told that the support team didn't know if they were or not. I have returned everything and will go with another brand instead of spending another $100 -$200 on a new router.

Loved my first one so much, I bought another for a different part of my house. the acoustics are amazing and can easily overpower a small space. The design is minimalist; fits into any decor and takes up negligible space. I bought this product versus denon or sonos because of the ease of use and the ability to play what I wanted without being forced to use what sonos wants me to use. I tried the play-fi app initially and then changed over on my sales guy's recommend to the definitive technology app; I'm not seeing any advantage at this point in using this dedicated app. While pricey, I'm thinking this is still a good investment for top of the line stereo equipment. One major displeasure I have is the inability to control multiple devices at the same time without purchasing an upgraded application. Seriously? At $400 per unit, DT ought to give it away!

I have used these speakers (have 3 of them) for about 6 months now and love the sound. Very rich with great range. However, the app is so poorly designed that it makes the whole experience very frustrating. One speaker continually drops no matter where is it positioned. I actually traded out speakers to see if the speaker failure tracked and it absolutely did. That one is certainly going back to DT. Music is great when it works, using it for the TV is a horrible experience. DT must update this app or lose business. I won't buy anything else from DT until this happens.

Nice to have a laptop that doesn't heat up. Screen is large enough not to have to wear my glasses.

I find that almost all speakers these days have a very sterile, digital sound. Not these. They have a rich warm sound, just the way I like my music. The built-in wireless technology allows me the freedom to listen to my favorite music apps, or any music I want from my computer, including CDs. Just plug in the power chord and I'm ready to go. The Definitive Technology support is a serious plus! They really go above and beyond if you have any questions. My only knock is the fact that you can't control the tone. I think that would be a nice touch. They are expensive, but I haven't heard any other speakers that I would rather have.

Aesthetically pleasing. Wifi yes, bluetooth no? I think that along with programming it to stream audio jointly with the sounder in another room is the challenge here, otherwise great sound & base for the price and size of this.

Great sound from speaker. You must set it up on wi-fi, could be some problems with that ( if you normally use wi-fi at home for data use on phone or tablet ). Needs to be more apps to stream music from like Sirius. In the end it's all about where you play your music from.
