It's a perfect fit the space I had in my office, but doesn't go well with home office carpet. The chair weels starts to skink in after couple of minutes.

Anyone using an office chair with rollers on a carpet floor knows after a few months of rolling back and forth on the carpet you start to dig a path in it. I was starting to damage my carpet and knew I needed to find a surface that the chair could roll on that would protect the carpet. I purchased the Deflecto mat because it appeared to be a good combination of materials and price. Having used the mat for about 3 weeks, I can say it lays flat and does an excellent job of protecting the rug. My one recommendation is that when you lay the mat in place under your desk onto a carpet, do not plan to slide the mat into its final position. It absolutely will not slide once it is in contact with the carpet. If you want to move it, you will need to lift it out of contact with the carpet and then shift it to its new position. All in all a good buy.

Thinner than I would have liked and dents easy on plush carpet. It is truly made for low pile carpet like you would find in an office.

Appears to be well made but will dent with weight in the chair. Dents will release when weight is released. Chair does roll easily on the surface.

Perfect! Compared to others, it has easy to follow instructions and the edges are slanted which make it flush to the wooden floor. It is a little expensive.

The Deflecto chair mat is great except for one thing, wish it was a little wider. The length fits my requirements just fine.

I love how well it stays where I put it and protects my carpet.

Easy to use...I have purchased the same strong Deflecto chair mat before and still strong and is still alive and kicking.

When you get it you have to put heavy things on it at first for a bit to get it to lay flat.

Works great. Came in a roll, had to unroll and use hair dryer to get it flattened down.

It’s “ok”. I have a very plush carpet and was looking for something fairly thick. This gets divots in it after I sit in one place for a while and it makes it a little bit hard to start rolling

Not flimsy like most carpet office chair mats. The points into the carpet are strong as well

Cheap and flimsy The plastic is very thin and even standing on it leaves dense from my feet let alone all the imprints from the chair leg rollers Wish I would’ve went to the store and bought a heavier higher quality mat

Works fine. Good as any we had at work. Takes a bit to flatten out.

It's not worth the money. Better off going to Staples and getting a mat at roughly the same price but thicker and bigger.

I really like my chair mat because now my chair rolls over the mat and under the desk easily and no more fighting with the carpet.
