I recently purchased two Dell 23" LED monitors. I use them with a laptop and docking station. It lets me get two monitors without having to use the laptop screen. I want to mention that these monitors are terrific. I have always tried to purchase Dell products. These monitors are bright and allow a fine (small) resolution without causing blur. I caught them on sale, but they were an excellent value even at regular price. Thanks DELL !! And thanks Best Buy for stocking them.

I received this as a gift with the giver knowing I recently had "lost" my regular monitor to unknown and unrecoverable reasons. For the meantime I was using my older 19" monitor that came with my previous dell I got 12 years ago. When I plugged this new one in, I was blown away. The clarity was amazing, it was bright and the colors were off the charts. I immediately tried to find something on YouTube that was filmed in HD 1080p to get the full experience. Wow! I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I'm still convinced it's better than looking at real life! My last widescreen monitor " that blew" was 21.5" and let me tell you the extra inch and a half makes the world of difference. Any bigger would be too big really. The monitor is big enough to have multiple windows open and working on different things at once. If you're looking for something that word help with work as well as really good to watch a tv show or movie on during downtime then this is the perfect monitor. Anyone you get this for will be ecstatic to receive it or if you're looking for yourself, this definitely the one to get. The price point is perfect $199 reg. goes on sale for $129 sometimes. Can't say how much I love this monitor! Your search is over! Get this one!

This Dell Flat Screen Monitor was affordable and easy to hook-up. It quite simply works and works well. Haven't had any problems with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable LED HD monitor.

I purchased the 23" monitor as a second display due to having to do alot of multi tasking daily. Over all i am pleased with the quality and performance. However I only rated 4 stars due to fact that only having two video connections VGA and DVI. Would have liked to have a HDMI to to allow both my destop and laptop simultaneously. Also it does not have built in speakers, but who uses those anyway. Ended up purchasing a second because of the price point for a third monitor due to price point

Design is good, simple and sleek. Easy to install. Picture is clear. Works as it should. Price is fair.

It's a great monitor with amazing resolution. I was a bit wary about the size of the monitor (it being too small), but it was the perfect size! 23 inches is much bigger than what you might think;) Oh and it also has a thin border around the screen, in case your a bit picky about that. I am, so you get to see more screen than an ugly border for sure! Some cons: no internal speakers, no usb ports, so just in case you were searching for that I use the Insignia™ - Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA Adapter to plug in my mac so i have a bigger screen to work with, needed a bigger screen than my 13 inch macbook pro so that was the reason for purchasing the monitor. Great purchase overall!

This is a wonderful monitor. It's big, vibrant, and has a very nice picture quality. I'm a graphic designer, so great picture quality is a must! I enjoyed everything about this monitor, except for one thing: the design of the ports on the back. The monitor comes with a VGA cable, but I ended up getting a clunky DVI cable from eBay because of the quality difference between VGA and DVI. The monitor has a little cutout for the cables, but it also has little prongs to manage them. These prongs are essentially useless, as they can't manage many cables anyways. So, I ended up having to chop off one of the prongs so the DVI input can actually connect. Trust me, I died a little inside when I had to lop off the prong of a brand new monitor, but I wasn't bringing it back that easily. The head of the cable (if you're wondering) is 2.25" long. Short story short, it ended up fitting, and I ended up happy. It's a very beautiful looking monitor none-the-less.

Quality HD screen, crisp and clear, nice size for second monitor. Quality better than like-kind HP monitors. Competitively priced. Glare-free screen. Easy set-up. Cable comes separately. Easily to assemble and operate.

Sharp Picture, Good Value, Slim Design. Purchased this monitor as my main display for a home workstation. 10+ hours a day for the last month and no complaints about this monitor.

This is a great monitor. Very bright (it is LED, after all), colors look great, several preset profiles to choose from (I like text, but game and multimedia are good too), and the stand is very sturdy. It is virtually without bezels, so it has a relatively small footprint for a 23" monitor, plus it is an IPS panel. Only downside is no HDMI input, but I knew that going in and for the price, it is still an incredible deal.

We wanted a monitor big enough ton see.We had trouble with another monitor and took it back to a store. We went to Best Buy and we found one right away. We took it home and plugged it in and it worked. There was no adjusting or installing. The screen is easy to see. The color is great and it is easy to take care of. The staff is great also.

The good: Compared to the Dell UltraSharp U2312HM there's very little discernible panel differences. Overall image quality is very good, and the colors and saturation levels are fine in Auto. Also, good are the viewing angles, Contrast, Clock & Phase, Sharpness, Gamma, and Black Levels. Images look sharp and color accurate. Gaming for an IPS panel is good. On your desk it looks very nice and stands about 3-1/4" off the desktop, and since the stand is flat you can use that space. The bad and decisions: Ideally, most IPS panels don't make for great Gaming monitors, and I only game on occasion. I did find some minor Ghosting problems with certain middle gray RGB values: 64/192, 96/224, 128/255 and some minor Response time issues. I used Lagom monitor tests. Note: I am no monitor expert, but I know what looks good and doesn't. Very limited inputs (DVI-D & VGA) compared to the Dell UltraSharp U2312HM which adds a DisplayPort. Also, it doesn't come with a DVI-D cable, and only with a useless VGA. So those without a DVD-D cable add $5-$8+ USD. However, for the $70 (37%) savings the Dell S2340M is a better choice for most folks over the more expensive Dell UltraSharp U2312HM (fractionally better panel, Display Port, 90 degree swivel, USB Hub, and DVI cable). Dell's Display Manager for those new to it takes some getting used to, but it can be customized and comes in handy. As usual go to Dell's website for the latest drivers, the CD's are old. Hope this helps.

This a great 23in monitor for the price but, I was astonished when I found out that it didn't have an HDMI port. I bought this with my new iMac so that I could have duel monitor display. The person at Best Buy sold me this with the wrong cord after I asked them several times if the cord was compatible between the two. Now that I bought an adapter it works fine just wish that they would have sold me the right cord the first time.

For the price, this monitor is hard to beat. It competes with monitors priced much higher. The on-board buttons and controls are easy to use and the display is very sharp. The colors are vivid and the response time is low. The tiny bezel and black finish give it a polished look. Good job Dell.

The price was right, a good value for the money, over all it has a very sharp screen in detail it's nice and wide, easy to see from all angles! The color on the screen is really great! The only thing I didn't like you get a lot of glare depending where you place it in your in Your room!

This monitor replaced my older Dell 17 inch monitor of 10 years which was still working. The monitor arrived on time and was easy to assemble even for a technology challenged person as myself. The picture is wonderful, but can be too bright at times at night in lower light. Details are crisp and color is wonderful. If your are looking for a bigger monitor with a great picture and a good price, this is for you.

I was going to stay with my old Hannspree 19" monitor which I've been very happy with through at least 2, if not 3 computers. When I got to My Best Buy Store and saw this Dell 23" and the picture it had I couldn't leave without it !!! This is one fine monitor and a great sale price !

I wish this has HDMI hook up but the VGA still works really well. I have this as a dual monitor setup for my Mac mini. When I'm not using the Mac they screen go into sleep mode and once I press on the keyboard they wake instantly. The quality of the pictures are amazing :)
