This monitor is awesome and truly looks awesome. I was trying to upgrade my monitor from 1080p to 1440p and this was def the right choice. Best part is it’s mountable! I use it for gaming and it does good - I wish I had the cash to get a G-Sync monitor but this will do. Totally recommend!

This monitor is basically exactly what I expected it to be. It’s a cheap monitor with high resolution, the color accuracy, refresh rate and even settings are not the best but all serviceable. If you’re looking for a great value monitor for general use and light gaming, I’d highly recommend this! If you’re primarily gaming or doing any sort of creative work where color accuracy is important, I’d recommend spending a bit more to get a monitor with higher refresh rate or better color accuracy.

I am using this monitor mainly for software development. The 2k resolution is super nice for fitting a bunch of text on the screen. A note if you have an older graphics card: Upon hooking up the monitor with the provided HDMI cable, I could not select 2560x1440 as a resolution; it did not appear in the drop down on the display settings menu. I had to go into Nvidia's control panel for my graphics card and create a custom resolution. I currently have a GeForce GT 520 which is very old and very basic graphics card although it is supposed to support up to 2560x1600 resolution. Adding the custom resolution worked, however, I was then getting an intermittent black flicker at the bottom of my screen and at times the entire screen. Lowering the refresh rate to 45 Hz fixed this. If you have a higher performance graphics card, you probably won't run into this issue. For application development, this monitor is perfect and meets my needs.

I bought the Mac mini and thus needed a new monitor to use it since my old monitor didn't have an cdmi port. and rather than buy an hdmi adapter I figured why not just upgrade to something newer anyway. I noticed that any monitor under 200 didn't have built in speakers. and rather than fill my desk with clutter (buying external speakers) and such I filtered in for a monitor that had at least 2 cdmi ports as well as build-in speakers. this dell was the cheapest on that refined list. honestly im surprised it was this cheap. is dell hoping that I buy one of their desktops? my first computer was a dell so im biased however my second was a Mac so maybe not that biased? for the size and the features this ranks high on the list especially for the price. I think everyone is looking for 4k now and thus left all other models collecting dust.

    Gaming on the Big Screen

I purchased this panel for an amazing value, and I have (almost) nothing but good things to say about it. Pros- The 1440p QHD definition is amazingly clear, and supported by Displayport 1.2 (my preference), and HDMI 1.4 connections. It supports 10-bit color at 60 Hz, although this does drop to 8-bit color if you choose the non-native max refresh rate of 75 Hz. Brightness and contrast are also amazing, as is the 178° viewing angle. The whites and light grays are sharp and clear, offering a superior viewing and gaming experience for HD movies and games. The VESA mounts on the back of the monitor and the included base offer one flexibility of how to mount this monitor. The base is hefty and included cable routing ports in the back to more easily bunch ones cables together. The monitor also includes USB functionality, with a 3.0 upstream cable included that connects to the computer, a USB 3.0 Downstream connector, for easier peripheral (like a game controller) connection, and a 1.5A USB batter charging port. Cons- I was disappointed that a Displayport cable was not included with the device, and when it arrived I began to understand why. The Displayport almost seems like it was an afterthought, as there is very little clearance between the port and the plastic cage which contains the back of the monitor. This was inconvenient, as most of the higher quality DP cable connectors (including the ones sold by Best Buy) are just too fat to work with this monitor, but I was able to find one from that company named after a forest that was slim enough to connect to this monitor to make it work. Conclusion- I've wrestled with myself a bit on how to rate this, considering the DP did cause me some trouble, but I went with this rating because overall, this issue is more of a quibble than anything else. I cannot recommend this purchase enough for the casual to moderate gamer, or those with visual impairment. I hope this item comes back in stock soon so that I can buy another!

I'm not using this for gaming. I only uses this model for office works, which with single screen and a little knowhow to set multiple applications side by side, i can get things done easier. The size of the screen, however requires to have a bigger table (i mean deeper table, 30in deep so that the big screen is not right on your face, andd you dont have to strain twisting your neck. Only have it for more than a month so i'm hoping the longevity quality.

I had previously purchased a 27" monitor; it was ok except the HDMI cable kept falling out. I exchanged it for this larger model and I am so pleased. The resolution is great; text and pictures are crystal clear.

This has been my main display for a little over a month. I use it for video games and streaming mostly. I was able to get it for under $200 total and if you are able to get one in that range you should definitely purchase it as there are not too many 32" monitors available for that price.

I admit I am getting older and my eyesight is not perfect BUT this monitor is JUST right. The icons are NOT too big like some large-screen 1080p monitors. I also admit I am not the pickiest about colors but I have been using it for web browsing, gaming and occasional work. Make sure to use the Displayport to get full 1440 resolution support. Very happy with the purchase. Thinking of buying one for the wife as well.

I was able to get 3 Word Documents Side by side. I had the lower portion of the monitor to place other stuff. My MSI with a 1060 graphics runs it a full resolution with no problem. Great color for a school and Solitare display. Way better than staring at a 15" laptop.

This is my first 1440p monitor and I love it. I work with 3d models and this gives me the extra pixels to view and manipulate parts with ease. Coloring is good, definitely not an IPS panel but it gets close. I haven't gamed on it yet but am hopeful to take advantage of the 75hz refresh. Thanks Dell/Bestbuy for a great deal.

If you primarily need a bigger screen size, and don't care too much about having the latest style, this monitor is a good pickup. It wont do any crazy gaming, but it displays all your applications in a nice 32" 2k image.
