I purchased this Dell 5490 14” refurbished laptop with Intel 7th Gen Core i5 16GB Memory 512 GB SSD for my 81 year old mother because she had been trying to use one of my daughter’s old Mac iOS laptops, and they just did not get along at all. She needed a laptop with an operating system she was familiar with and definitely a backlit keyboard. Dell’s reputation for excellence definitely “checked all the boxes” on my quest to purchase a laptop my mother would be happy with, she was not just pleased, she was absolutely thrilled with this Dell! I only wish I would have shopped for and purchased it sooner. Also, the way it was packaged for shipment was very impressive! Best Buy definitely does everything 1st class!

Terrible. I should have spent my money elsewhere. This thing can’t survive without being plugged in. And it gives an error message every single time.

Great computer for a great price. I bought this computer for my seventh grader. It has more options than was required by his school. This computer came in excellent condition and is super fast. It has more bells and whistles than a seventh grade needs but I hope this will last many years for my son. Great computer for the price.

So far, this laptop has been very good. It was in very good condition upon arrival. The speed is good for the applications I use.

Great deal. Super fast laptop and just like new. I've personally had quite a few refurbished Dell laptops for business and personal use over the last few decades. I always buy the Latitude line because they are some of the best laptops Dell makes. The Dell laptop I just retired before buying this one was almost a dozen years old. Talk about getting my money's worth!

The computer worked as a computer, and had the power for the gaming my daughter does. The problem is the screen. It looks like something you would see in the 90’s. The salesman tried to tell me it was because of the price I was spending, but some of the cheap ones sitting next to it had good screens, but no power. There’s some sort of anti-glare or something with the screen, none of the colors are bright and the whitest white you can get is gray.

Laptop itseld is great. I think because it's refurbished though they placed stickers on all the keys, maybe the letters were rubbed off. That's a little annoying but other than that no complications.

This is the second computer that I’ve bought from this seller. This recent one was for my husband and it’s actually slightly better than the one I got for myself. Only appearance wise lol. But this is very affordable everything looks in great condition as well we haven’t had any problems. It works like a brand new computer. I got my computer months back and it still works like new!!

Good so far! This is my second refurbished laptop. I had the last one for almost 10 years with no issue. Hoping for similar longevity for light use with this one. Looks brand new aside from one small scuff on the inside. Running quick and smooth so far.
