This Chromebook is the perfect computer. It's everything I need: durable all-metal body, has a built in stylus, crazy long battery life, an HD screen with great colors, 2-in-1-capabilities, great keyboard... I could go on. I also tried the Samsung Chromebook Pro, Samsung Chromebook Plus, as well as the HP x360. None of them hold a candle to this machine. And if you're worried about RAM, don't be. 4 GB is more than enough for a Chromebook. This thing is super fast. Great job with this one, Dell!

A good alternative to a laptop with a Caveat

It is a rugged laptop, though it is fairly heavy due to being a 2-in1. I do not use the screen folded back on itself because it is heavy and awkward to hold. In tent mode, on a table or counter, it is very usable.
It does take a bit to get used to the difference between a PC/Mac and a Chromebook. There are a couple of differences , no page up/down button along with no right click on the touch pad. There are Chromebook ways around these but it was unexpected.
While this does support Android Apps, the Apps do not always support the standard Chromebook way of doing things. The Amazon app is an example, using the track pad results in no actions, you have to use the touch screen. Other apps work great. You will have to experiment to see if your favorite Android Apps properly support Chromebooks.
Interestingly the games Splendor and Alhambra work great.

I originally purchased a Windows based laptop, which is what I've always had. But after realizing that I needed a lot more memory and then have to get ANOTHER licence for Office, I decided to try the Google OS. Soooo Much happier with the cost, performance and can use Google set of tools to meet my needs. Also, most of what I use this for is basic browsing so again this is great. Lastly, since I already had a Google user name etc it was like it was tailored for me.

This laptop is worth every penny of its $599 MSRP, which makes the fact that I got it on sale for $349 from Best Buy all the more amazing. It has a sturdy build, a very comfortable keyboard which is very satisfying to type on, beautiful screen, and very quick performance. If I were to criticize anything, I would say that the speakers could be a bit louder, and the laptop is a significantly heavier than most Chromebooks so it is not quite as portable as others. But these are small issues to me, and the positives of this laptop easily outweigh the negatives. This is undoubtedily one of the top 3 Chromebooks on the market in my opinion, right up there with the Pixelbook. Also, it is compatible not only with its own garaged stylus, but any other EMR stylus as well. Finally, it is slated to receive updates from Google until June 2025, so I know that I still have over 5 1/2 years of use left from it. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Dell!

I love this Chromebook! The screen is bright! The stylus is useful. The keyboard and trackpad are good. Speakers are decent. The performance is FANTASTIC, especially coming from an older Asus C302 with an m3. My only complaint is the weight. It is almost 4 pound, which is heavy when in tablet mode or just being lugged around. That weight brings comfort with the build, it is sturdy. Overall, great when on sale lol

Overall there's nothing bad that I can say about the chromebooks performance. Its smooth, fast and worth the price.
I extremely like that I can charge using either side of the laptop, makes it very convenient. The only con is that is a little bit on the heavy but that's a small issue for me.

The set up was very easy to do. It is very fast on start ups. I've been able to do every thing on it that i do on my lap top and tablet so it makes it easier for me not to have to switch back and forth. My only complaints would be that its a little on the heavy side and the touch screen acts up now and then.

This is my first Chromebook and I'm SO glad I left my PC. This thing is incredible. Great build quality. Fast/responsive keyboard. Nice screen/graphics. I thought the pen was going to be useless, but I use it ALL THE TIME to capture a portion of the screen for social media (business). No more opening editing software for a quick grab. I love the integration of apps from the Play store. I can pull up my Wyze cam app while working, get texts through Messages for web, and the battery just keeps going and going. I liked it so much, I ordered TWO MORE for our office. After 30 years, I'm saying BYE to Windows.

Really solid Chromebook. I really thought that the 4 GB of RAM wouldn’t be enough, but I’ve never had issues with loading multiple intensive tabs and having the system slow down. It has more than enough processor which makes it fly and on top of everything it has a stylus. Great screen too.

I liked this computer but it’s not compatible to windows so I found it hard to download certain programs. I would have definitely kept it if I didn’t run into that issue. It was speedy with wifi, sleek, and just the right size with touchscreen.

Very fast processer. Convenient touch screen or other options. I connected a wireless mouse to mine. Big screen with good definition. If you are use to using an Android phone then this will be easy for you.

I decided to switch from Windows to a Chromebook and so far it's working out great! I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. Everything about this Chromebook is great, the speed, graphics, back lit keyboard and ability to run play store apps. The build quality seems very good and study but a bit large and heavy if you needed to carry it around a lot but that was not a factor for me. I did not think I would use the stylist pen but for some apps it's very useful. I'm getting around 9 hours battery life. I would highly recommend this Chromebook and I'm glad I spent a little more to get something with a little more power to hopefully last a long time.

I have had this now for three years, I’m still unhappy with the amount of apps that do not have a working version on a Chromebook. So some programs you just can’t use on it whatsoever. Also, persistent throughout, the Chromebook randomly will just shut off and restart. It will start force closing apps including system apps rendering it unusable until restarted. After restarting it always says that there was an error would you like to restore the apps that were open. I cannot rely on this chrome book because I never know if it’s just gonna shut off or not open an app or not even be able to download an app. It just needs to be better.

Great 2 in 1 for daily internet surfing and day to day work. Screen resolution, performance and included stylus are really good. Could have been little lighter!! 4 pounds are huge for this 14”.

I have to agree with the majority of the reviews on this Chromebook. First, it's heavy. Heavier than it should be, but it's also solid, which I like. Second, it's fast. I don't think it would be faster with a RAM boost either, as it's extremely fast as is. Third, the keyboard is very good but not outstanding. Fourth, the screen is bright, with excellent color spectrum. Many Chromebooks have issues here; this one does not. It flickers occasionally but this doesn't bother me. Others have (rarely) noticed this too, according to reviews. Fifth, the trackpad is great. Some reviewers didn't like it but I love it. No regrets. It's become my main computer now, and it's fantastic - if you can wait for the sales that bring it under $400.

I purchased this chromebook for my elementary grade daughter. Previously she used a Dell chromebook for 4 years without any issue on both h/w and s/w. So, she needed similar quality chromebook that has OS AUE (auto update expiration) that should last for at least 4 years. This chromebook has until June 2024 which is 5 years.
The metal chassis built is above average quality and much better than the plastic ones. What my daughter likes are the responsiveness of the touchscreen with stylus, backlit keyboard and fast processor.
Definently a good investment for her education.

Let me start by saying that I returned this chrome book. I didn't want to, because it is truly a very powerful computer for the price (it was on sale for almost 30% off when I purchased it).
It hits every checkpoint--strong processor, 2-in-1 design, 128GB storage, touchscreen, and stylus input. Great combination of features at this price.
I ultimately returned this item because it did not ship with a stylus. I had a compatible stylus, but it wouldn't fit in the onboard storage slot of the device. I would have taken a replacement but none were available at the time.

This chromebook is honestly amazing for the price. I was hesitant at first in purchasing it because I wasn't sure about such a large purchase, i'm not very good with computers, but the gentleman that helped me was super helpful and I'm so happy I bought this. It is easy to use and beyond sturdy. I have 4 kids and that was one of the big sellers for me was that it wasn't plastic. SOOOO HAPPY
