Love this computer!! Its quiet, fast, has the touchscreen and numeric keypad, which is a must for me as I do a lot of excel spreadsheets and its much easier to key in numbers with the keypad, and has SSD and 17" screen. Meets all of my requirements, very few models have all of this for the price. Previously had an HP (yes, it had the keypad too) but hated it from the day I bought it. it was loud and constantly spinning. This computer is great. I'm not a gamer, so can't speak to running games on the computer, but for my needs - email, internet/web browsing, social apps, excel and Word files, and I save a lot of pictures on the computer, its perfect.

This Dell 2 in 1 17.3" Touch Screen Laptop is super fast and just a joy to work on. The screen is so clear and the back lit keyboard is easy to see at night. The 512 GB Solid State Drive speeds up every function, especially when booting up. This laptop is ideal for video editing with fast rendering and the tiny buttons on the screen are easy to see with the huge screen. The 2 in 1 feature is great; it becomes an instant iPad! This is my first computer with a touch screen and it's great to be able to zoom in on small print- a real plus for seniors! You'll love this Dell Inspiron 7786. Get one!

Finally bought the laptop I've been wanting! It's fast, has awesome security guards, beautiful big 17" screen, flip-top for presentations, touch screen for drafts, great sound and plenty of storage!

Excellent computer for heavy use in my business. Plenty of memory and storage for many applications, very fast, perfect size and not too heavy. Would highly recommend it. With the solid state hard drive, I am expecting it to respond better to being moved around frequently.

This is my first laptop with a SSD and man, a world of difference! Super fast, very efficient for on the go, and perfect for your average college needs. Only wish Microsoft office was automatically downloaded and a one-time fee. Touch screen comes in very handy as well.

I've only had this a day and was frustrated by the slow WiFi download speeds. Was only getting about 1/6 of the speed I should have. After checking and updating drivers found the culprit was the pre-installed application called SmartByte. After uninstalling speeds are right where they should be. Dell, please stop installing these frustrating bloatware applications and screwing up what is otherwise a beautiful product.

I’ve owned many laptops in my life before and this without a doubt is the best I’ve had. Extremely fast and I love the touchscreen features. I highly recommend this to anybody thinking of purchasing a new laptop!

I bought this computer to edit photos and its everything I wanted in a computer. Quick, touchscreen, all the extra features I wanted. I paid for Geeksquad and the person I talked to was rude, but as far as the computer goes, 5 stars.

I like this Dell laptop. I got the one that is faster. I like that I can enlarge the screen. It has a beautiful picture. I got the 17" size screen. Dell lasts longer than a lot of laptops that I have had.

This is a fantastic 17-incher. Does everything I expected. This laptop is a bit heavier than the average.

Incredible performance like a laptop or a tablet. Fast and accurate when you use the touch screen. Great for streaming.

- build quality feels pretty solid - the performance with the SSD is awesome, it's very fast - the touch monitor works very well, responsive and sensitive. - on the downside and the reason for only getting 4 stars is the CPU fan that is too noisy even when running in low speed. it sounds almost as if it's touching something. not what you'd expect from a Dell laptop in that price range

Really like this computer. Hate the whole 2 in 1 as I do not need it but oh well. Once i got it cleaned up and removed all the useless software they force on you it is amazing. Sometimes it gets stuck in tablet mode if i move but hasnt happened that often but i also have not traveled much lately so we will see if that become a problem. But have not seemed to have any issues with battery life. Have to say it has been working pretty good and i have no regrets.

I ordered this new Dell 17" Inspiron 7786 2 in 1 laptop online from Best Buy to quickly replace my broken 9 year old Dell Studio 17 which had Windows 7 Pro. Dell's shipment of that same computer was going to take 2 weeks longer than what Best Buy offered. The laptop is fine, but the Windows 10 Home edition has taken me much longer to configure, customize, and install programs for my small business than any other Windows operating system that I have had in the last 25 years. For some reason, Microsoft has put more effort into being able to change colors, than actually doing work related program computer functioning settings. Lot's of CMD line tweaks are out there in the community to bypass Windows 10 settings. Never had to use the command line since Windows 95! I'm starting to re-learn the "logic" of this new operating system settings and commands, but I would say that Android apps and Apple IOS has a much more intuitive interface compared to Windows 10. It's been 3 weeks since I got the new system setup from the old Windows 7 Pro email (WLM and Contacts) and the new Edge browser. Maybe it's for the best? Hoping so! Time will tell.

I LIKE THE SIZE OF THE SCREEN AND THE EASE OF UASAGE

Excellent start up speed because of the solid state drive. Downloads are quick, and it handles all software applications I use easily. I use this computer for school, running statistical software tools and coding. It is large as far as laptops go though.

This laptop has been in my possession for 1 year and a half. It has been absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The screen is great and so is the touch screen capabilities. However, the only thing I dislike is the keyboard. It like typing on a piece of wood. There is no key travel at all which is a shame. If this computer had a keyboard like Lenovo, then it would be perfect. Another slight bummer would be the somewhat loud fans. If you are looking for a 17-inch tablet that runs windows quickly then this computer will defiantly meet your needs!

Have found Dell to be reliable and dependable. Portable for ease and transportation - whethere working at another location, or haveing one of your kids teach you what you do not know.
