Customers are delighted by the large screen size and ease of use of the Inspiron 27" All-in-One. Many appreciate the sleek design, powerful performance, and responsive touchscreen. Positive feedback also highlights the ample RAM and storage capacity. A small number of users expressed some dissatisfaction with the included mouse.

My wife and I have used this computer for 2 weeks and couldn’t be more pleased! It’s fast and has a large, beautiful screen. Quick & simple setup too! DVD drive would be nice but we have an external DVD/CD drive that works via USB port. Highly recommend purchase. It won’t disappoint!

Dell is still building all in one (AIO) computers that are featureful. While their place in modern life has changed, they offer quite a few advantages over laptops. Dell offers quite a few compelling options and the new 7720 is no slouch. Offering a 13th gen i7, 16GB of ram, dedicated graphics, and a 27” 1080p display, the 7720 is a compelling package.
First of all, in the box you’ll find the unit, well protected, power cord, tiny bit of documentation, and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Far from an automatic pairing, you’ll find the USB dongle inside the mouse. This must be plugged into one of the USB ports 4 USB-A 3.1 ports in the back. Once plugged in the design is simple, stable, and attractive. You’ll notice that the base is made of cast metal to keep the computer grounded. The base offers tilting up to +5, -20 degrees. Unlike the 5400 series before it, the aesthetic is more monitor with a bit of fabric bottom where the speakers fire - no longer looking like a sound bar. This computer is only slightly thicker than a contemporary monitor, keeping a very slim aesthetic. Up top you’ll find a spring loaded pop-up camera with Windows Hello facial recognition support. Further on the back panel you’ll find HDMI in, and HDMI out, LAN, 3.5mm phono jack, and SD card reader. The location of the headphone jack and SD card reader is unfortunate, with the only easily accessible port being the sole USB-C 3.1 port on the right which only supports Gen 2 functionality (10Gbps).
Powering on this unit is a bit more intuitive than other Dell AIOs. You’ll find the sole power button on the right bottom side under the power light. Next to it is a high recessed button for HDMI switching (more on that later). Windows 11 is left to minimal additions of Dells apps, and McAfee (which will try to scare you into a subscription). Overall, the software is pretty minimal, which I applaud. You’ll want to download the Dolby Access app though.
Sound was a bit bass heavy and distorted as configured. I fooled around with Windows sound settings and quickly discovered Dolby Atmos for Built-In speakers was enabled, but the Dolby Access app was missing. I downloaded that app from the Microsoft Store and was immediately able to swap settings around. Despite this, the sound was middling at best. Bass was distorted (even when Atmos was disabled) and muted, and mids stood out more than anything. The speaker's dynamic range was easily overwhelmed. Despite having some decent space to work with, I found the audio of this unit disappointing. In the end I disabled Dolby Atmos because it felt like it was peak-ing out the speakers too much and just led to distortion.
The 27” 1080p is an IPS unit, with good viewing angles and colors. The anti-glare coating is excellent and the display is sporting a glass panel instead of something less smooth to the touch. This is a good thing, since it’s a multi-touch panel. Windows does a good job of providing for a good touch experience, so this is welcome. Kids do a great job of utilizing touch. Brightness is pretty good, despite this not being an HDR display. The 1080p resolution is pretty coarse at 27”, but it’s a good quality panel even if it’s just 60Hz. This is an upgrade of what is found on older Dell AIO’s
So what about performance? Sporting Raptor Lake, Intel’s newest 13th generation CPU with, we find an i7 1355u. Here we find 2 performance cores that can boost to 5.0GHz, and 8 efficiency cores. The U in the 1355u means ultra-portable, aka 15w TDP. While a low powered cpu, it still offers boosting capability that can unlock some high performance. However, despite having a thermal solution that can handle quite a bit more load, the PL2 power limit runs out after 10 seconds and then you’re set to 15w total TDP (or about 2.4GHz if you’re doing an all core load). A high powered workstation this is not. This is disappointing in a large format unit, as you could easily tweak PL2 to last longer, as thermals drop to 55C after the boost drops. Cinebench R23 benchmarks were moderately faster than an 11th generation part due to the power limits imposed. It's a shame as there is a lot more headroom thermally and it would be nice to have an option to tweak performance up. Despite my efforts, XTU, Windows Power, and even BIOS, I was unable to improve performance. 16GB of DDR is also of the DDR4 variety at 3200MHz and not the DDR5 that the CPU could support.
Being the upper end model, this 7720 sports dedicated graphics. We find an embedded Nvidia TU117 chip - a turning GPU of the low end range. 2GB of dedicated GDDR6 along with 8GB of shared buffer give this GPU a lot more oomph than integrated XE graphics (which are still enabled and used). You won’t find ray tracing, but you will get 1024 Cuda cores and 1500MHz boost clock. You won’t be gaming AAA titles, but you can play many games made in the past 5 years at good frame rates without much stuttering (like you might find on Intel’s XE graphics). Starcraft II, my old favorite, was absolutely smooth at 1080p and highest settings. 3dMark Firestrike was 6059 points, and Timespy was 2779. These aren’t great scores, and a gaming computer this is not. That said, there was again plenty of thermal headroom, with the GPU boosting aggressively in the 1700MHz realm and peaking at only 70 C or so. Overall, there’s performance waiting on the table if you could only release it.
The HDMI is a nice touch here. There is a second recessed button to swap inputs next to the power button. Here you can hook up a gaming console and use this as a TV. Volume controls respond on the keyboard shortcuts with no visual indicator, but at least you can swap volume. Overall it’s a nice addition.
Taking the back cover off is difficult, but it’s just snap on. Once off, you’ll find that you can easily add SATA storage. You can even swap out the ram.
For the price tag, it’s an expensive machine. Unlike similarly priced AIOs from fruit based companies, you don’t get thunderbolt or a retina display. However, this package includes a large touch screen, facial sign in, and HDMI inputs making this a more versatile package. Performance is good day to day, but if you’re looking for a high performance machine look elsewhere. Overall this may be a great machine for you if you can live with the limitations.

I'm very impressed. It's much better than I expected.
To be honest, I think I was sent the wrong PC.
What I got:
i7 1355u
16 MB RAM
1TB SSD
550MX graphics
Touch screen
So, I am reviewing based on those specs
THE GOOD
~ Touch screen
~ Small footprint
~ Decent sound
~ Responsive keyboard
~ Fast boot up (under 25s)
~ Nice resolution/monitor
~ Looks good
~ Privacy cam
~ Monitor angled perfectly
~ Good size
~ Built-in Card reader
~ Multiple USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and 1 USB-C
THE BAD
I haven't found anything I don't like so far
THE MEH (Could go either way)
~ All-in-one (but you knew that)
OVERALL
Everything you need to be up and running within a couple of minutes is in the box, minus an internet connection. It seriously felt like it took longer to unwrap the package than to set it up. It comes with two triangular feet you slide into place. Then unwrap the uncluded batteries, slip them into the bluetooth keyboard and mouse, pop the Bluetooth USB dongle in the back, plug in the power and you're off.
The sleak white build and small footprint makes it ideal for those who need to have it in a small apartment or an "always out" situation.
Although the i7 1355U is a "mobile" chip, primarily for laptops and such, it's a new release, coming out near the end of Q1 2023 (I believe). Being more geared toward mobile, it doesn't require as much cooling as the more full-sized CPUs.
It has a somewhat adjustable screen, that came leaning back about 25 degrees. I found this perfect for removing glare and visual comfort. The colors are bright and crisp.
I immediately jumped into looking at high-res pictures and then hopped online to watch some videos. They looked beautiful in full screen mode.
I am a gamer, so I went to my big test. I downloaded a copy of World of Tanks and opened it. It actually copied the game very quickly, which surprised me. It booted up and looked great. (I normally play on a 27" 2k 144hz monitor). Getting into the game, I noticed slow times were good, but there was a little tearing with fast movements or a lot of action. Despite that, the game is definitely playable and would suffice for any casual gamer.
This would definitely handle just about any business office applications you throw at it.
I expected the keyboard to feel cheap and flimsy, but it doesn't. The keys have a nice resistance to them that make it easy to type.
For most computer users, this computer will prove to be all they need. It will definitely get the business books done, give you relaxing time watching cat videos online, or streaming movies. It works for casual gaming as well.
WOULD I RECOMMEND?
Absolutely.

The first one I bought after a month it would not work. So they did not have a replacement for it. So instead of giving me the new one for the same price, they up charge me about $350. I was not a happy person. They would not work with me at all. I thought they should have given me this one for the same price that the other 1 was on sale for.

I'm truly impressed with the performance of this All-in One model. I own a lower version of the Dell Inspiron 27 and this one is a big upgrade and it's all positive.
Let's start with the specifications: 13th generation intel i7 with 1TB solid state drive, a gorgeous 27-inch touch screen and an Nvidia graphic cards that makes all the difference for advanced video games and video editing software.
As all-in-one computers are known for, this one is very easy to setup. The leg stands are easy to hook up, the keyboard and mouse quickly connect through a usb dongle, then you plug it and turn it on and it's ready to go. I set up the camera to recognize my face to unlock the screen and it works reliably.
Using this computer is an enjoyable experience. It's fast and responsive and process everything you throw at it with ease; a real workhorse. The other day I put it to the test with a work project using Adobe Premiere Pro that required an intense use of resources and, to my pleasant surprise, it handled it without issues. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and has a minimalist look and a feel of good quality. The mouse is a bit big in my opinion and made of hard plastic that contrasts with the keyboard in terms of quality. The speaker system is not high end but the sound quality is good enough to enjoy music, a podcast or to listen to a movie. The best part of this computer is the gorgeous screen. At 27 inches, it's big enough to enjoy watching a TV program or a movie. As a computer screen, the size is ideal to work efficiently without the need for a second screen. Settings are available to customize the picture to your liking.
To conclude I will say that this model is impressive with its performance and its beautiful modern look. Its size makes it easy to be placed virtually anywhere. It is a good home office computer that will certainly surprise you with its capabilities. Among the best All-in-One PC out there.

My computer was working fine until the moment I had to connect an additional monitor due to the office's needs for better work. However, issues started arising as the computer began freezing, making noises, and eventually becoming unresponsive when connected to the additional monitor. After forced restarts and multiple attempts, the problem persisted. It also occurred when trying to play streaming pages or videos, causing the computer to freeze, the monitor to go dark, and requiring another restart.
Faced with these problems, I contacted DELL's technical support, but all available resources were exhausted. We performed various check-ups and even installed pending video drivers, but the issues persisted. The DELL technical support center suggested taking the computer to a nearby service center, which incurs a cost. They mentioned the nearest one is in San Antonio, TX.
Due to this situation, I am considering returning the equipment as it is still under warranty with you. I hope to receive your support in exchanging it for another unit, hoping that the new one will not have system failures.
Thank you for your attention.

I had been searching for a family computer for some time and this fit the bill. It isn't insanely overpriced like some competing products and is pretty straight forward to use I like that a whole lot. There is a lot to like about this inspiron so lets take a look as to what this has to offer.
:::General Impressions:::
Upon receiving the box it is pretty simple you open it and you'll find another box with the included mouse & keyboard which are wireless by the way and match the aesthetic of the PC. The PC itself is very stylish and well put together it is a mix of plastic and metal. It is also light and incredibly easy to assemble.
You snap on the two feet, plug in the external power brick and less than 15 minutes in total to get this up and running.
This inspiron is just the right size for me and my family it is a 27 inch screen and does not take up a lot of space. I have had it for a week and I like how far along technology has come I remember the Pentium II computers that should give you an idea as to how old I am.
:::Pros & Cons:::
Pros:
- Touchscreen
- Slim
- Lightweight
- Powerful hardware
- Easy to set up & use
- Includes everything you need in the box
- No need for a separate monitor
-Can serve as a monitor or second screen
Cons:
- My only complaint is the external power brick
(but I see why it is designed the way it is)
:::General thoughts:::
I found that there is a lot to like about this inspiron it is fast and can keep up with the needs of me and my children. I use this device for simple browsing, occasional videos and email. My children use it for light gaming like Roblox, and learning they use Khan Academy to keep up with with their learning even though the school season has ended.
The screen is large enough and is full HD it is also touchscreen which was pleasantly surprising, The speakers and great and plenty loud, There is plenty of I/O located on the backside of the PC, a conveniently located USB type C on the right side near the power indicator. Windows is the OS but it is good enough although some of us may have a favorite OS I prefer 7 & 10 but Windows 11 is good enough and runs well without issue.
I will not discuss hardware as it is clearly advertised on the product page. The included Keyboard and Mouse is functional and super easy to setup and use. It is wireless and is not backlit, batteries were included the keyboard uses AAA batteries and the mouse is full sized for man size hands which is great and uses a single AA battery. The keyboard is a light color and can get dirty overtime but nothing a damp rag won't fix. The power button is on the bottom right side of the PC
and can not be accidentally pushed due to its location but this is true of practically every monitor.
:::Closing thoughts:::
I really like how fast and efficient computers have become over the years and this one a great personal computer or family computer. As long as you aren't a heavy gamer then this computer can be for practically anyone and most especially for those with limited space.
::TL;DR::
Do you need a computer that can offer you the following: lightweight, stylish, space saving, fast, easy to setup and use then stop looking and get yourself one.

I order this computer open box in great condition. It was delivered on April 1st and went on vacation and didn't end up opening it til after the return date expired. When I opened the box, the computer stand was broke on the right side. Since it was after the 15 days I can't return it nor will they fix it at their cost. Mind blowing I get a damaged item and have to pay to fix it. They referred me to the manufacture warranty, who would only fix it at my cost.

Desktops are not dead! Sometimes you have to have more screen space than a phone or even a laptop. I’m old school and still use a desktop as my main thing most of the time. Tower desktop systems are indeed slowing down, but all-in-ones are replacing them for many people. The Dell Inspiron 7720 series is a good all-arounder that will suit many people.
This model looks much like many of their other all-in-ones, as the outward physical appearance is very similar across the board these days. You have a 27 inch 1080p screen with in my case a white frame/bezel around it (thin). Two snap-on legs are sturdy, and a single power cord with brick powers the entire thing. Spec wise, the 7720 is a bump up beyond basic, giving you a latest generation i7 processor, 16 gigs of RAM (DDR4 type), a dedicated 2 gig graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce MX550) which helps with video processing and more, and a 1 terabyte speedy SSD hard drive. Most of your ports are on the back, having 4 each USB-A type ports, two HDMI ports, a slot for a SSD memory card, headphones, and power port. A single USB-C port is on the right side, and the power button is on the bottom-right. Built-in speakers cross the bottom, and are pretty good; not “play party music” good, but still better than average. They keyboard and mouse are of the standard free-included cheaper wireless type – they’ll get you by for the moment but many may want to upgrade those later.
One complaint is one I have with many computers these days – the web cam. It’s built into the top, and you can push it down into the body when not in use for security and ascetic reasons. But while it’s advertised to be a 1080p web cam, I find the quality to be more like a 720p cam. Not very good unless you are in perfect bright light indoors. If not, it tends to be grainy and mushy. For quick video calls it’s fine, but if you rely heavily on good video quality for work or personal use, you’ll most likely invest in a better external cam.
Setup was quick. Just pop on the legs, plug it in, and run through the Windows 11 setup process. There will be a few Windows updates to install once you’re going, so take the time to do those and get it out of the way. While I’d have loved to see a 2k screen maybe (?) on a system in this category, the 1080p LED one on the 7720 is good enough for many tasks, and is bright and clear given what it is. I haven’t stumbled on any hiccups or overheating from the processor when doing minor video editing or photo editing. Playing videos have been smooth, all helped with the little extra boost that dedicated video card gives you. So far nothing I do personally has tripped up or stumbled the machine.
So, the Dell 7720 looks nice, takes up very little space due to it’s all-in-one design, and runs smoothly, giving you enough power for more than the basics, well into the midrange category. My only complaints to point out? I do wish the screen were a little higher resolution at this price point. I’d have liked to see a higher quality web cam on it. Last, I would like to see more than one USB-C port on it, though you can of course buy a “hub” device to add more if you like. Other than that, I’d say for the price this Inspiron 7720 model should make most who get it happy. Recommended.

This is the first all in one I have owned in a while and I’m genuinely impressed.
So this is the 13th gen i7 with 16gb of ram and a 1TB SSD. It also comes with a Nvidia GeForce MX550 2gb to help with some more graphical work.
Unboxing is very simple. Just open the lid, first Is the accessory pack which includes the legs and power cable, some leaflets and then the PC itself.
The legs simply press onto the stems on the back of the PC, once attached you will see you can articulate the PC to your desired angle. I like this as previous they were at a fixed angle and I always found them to be to low.
The other accessories you get are the keyboard and mouse. Both are wireless and do the job. They’re nothing ground breaking and so feel somewhat cheap but they work just fine and kinda look good too.
Using the Inspiron is nice. It’s fast, it’s snappy and can do pretty much everything other than serious gaming. For general everyday use it’s perfect. It doesn’t get bogged down at all even with many tabs open in Chrome. The addition of the MX550 allowed me to do some video editing and some photoshop work. While it wasn’t the quickest at that it was way quicker than using a device with intel iris.
Overall I like this Pc. It looks good, has decent sound from the speakers, the FHD display is bright and I don’t see pixels when using it. Overall it’s a great all in one that can do pretty much everything while keeping your desktop looking clean

The Dell - Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD is a solid performer. It is basically in between a desktop and a laptop. Out of the box setup was pretty straight forward, no tools needed. Mount two leg stands for the AIO and plug in the blue tooth dongle for the mouse and keyboard and power up the Dell - Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One Desktop.
Honestly, my favorite part of the Dell AIO, was that it had a built in wireless card! No network cables needed and can basically be place anywhere that has wifi. The next discovery was that it is actually a touchscreen monitor! It has been a spell since I've owned a "desktop" since owning one requires desktop, monitor, cables between them and possibly printer and cable. Spec'd with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD, it has more than enough to stream videos/movies and has more than enough storage for the above average user.
My family and myself use it quite often and love the 27 in screen size. Monitor/Screen can tilt down or up for a comfortable viewing angle, BUT does not rotate left and right. It did take a quick minute to find the built in camera. It is a pop up camera on top of the monitor and can be put away. It maybe there was a minor complaint, I would say the included keyboard. Keys are a little stiff and although it is a full keyboard, it fells a little small. But keyboards and mouse are easy to replace.
Pros:
Takes up less space than a desktop All in One
Wireless (wifi/bluetooth capable)
Touch Screen
i7 processor
1 TB Solid State Drive
If I had to say a CON:
Stiff keyboard

The Dell - Inspiron 27" All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen is a cost effective, solidly built all-in-one computer that deserves attention. The irony is, it deserves more attention by Dell too.
Before I get into the real meat & potatoes of the hardware it begs mentioning the higher-level experience of setting up & using this machine I encountered.
For the record, I installed no apps or programs unique to my usual setup and simply approached the process of bringing this machine to an fully 'updated' state via both Microsoft & Dell methods. Between the two paths, I encountered both setup loops and freezing. Being a more "appliance" based device I consider this pretty much unacceptable.
Through the process of running Windows Update, there were a handful of Intel related drivers that simply wouldn't install. Through repeated attempts to restart that process and by running the Windows Troubleshooter, I could simply not get these drivers to update. It was only after I installed the Intel Driver Support tool that eventually the problem drivers got sorted.
Another facet to what was a real sore-spot in the user experience on the Dell - Inspiron 27" All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen was with Dell's own unique tool. Namely, the SupportAssist one. I went through multiple attempts to get this to work out-of-the-box to no avail. I was ultimately forced to work my way into the Registry Editor and completely obliterate traces of this tool because Revo Uninstaller wouldn't even comply... which was a first for me. After removing all 'key' traces to the Dell SupportAssist in the registry, I manually reinstalled it, sourcing the exe package from the product support web page. The average user/customer shouldn't need to go through all this trouble and many won't. SupportAssist would do a lot of prompting, letting me know it was taking longer than usual and even prompting me to force a Reboot. But as it were, the tool would return to hanging up at incomplete percentages, trying to update itself and the OS Recovery Tool. Isn't a SupportAssist tool supposed to be there to "Help" the user and not need to help itself? It's a fair question.
In the end, I was able to overcome all of these driver/tool obstacles because of my extensive knowledge of how to do so - but most customers won't be equipped to do the same. Many will become highly frustrated as well.
Moving on to the hardware itself, the Dell - Inspiron 27" All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen is solidly constructed, is easy to upgrade if you're interested in doing so and has plenty of ports for expansion. Having only one USB-C port on the side is rather limiting but at least it is there. The screen is only 1080p but when configured for 'touch', it's solid and responsive. I found all 27 inches of this display to be uniform, poppy and crisp to use.
The speakers are usable but nothing to write home about. I'd label them as "middle of the road" decent. Not super at producing much bass but clarity is good. The included mouse & keyboard are functional but also far from impressive. Good for the package price but they both leaving more to be desired. For the budget conscious, they will do - and again for the package price - it's nice they are included.
The installed SSD storage unit isn't super speedy but fast enough for most everything. Reads averaged just below 5 GB/sec and Writes around 4.5. Most OEM's use multiple vendors for their SSDs so performance will undoubtedly vary... but I have no complaints. The unknown make of the SSD in this all-in-one is up to the task. It cold boots, resumes from Hibernation & Sleep modes and shuts down quickly.
The WiFi 6e module is upgradeable yet I see no need to bother with that. It's Intel and performs up to expectations. I'm really glad to see the 6e standard make it into a machine of this caliber and at this price!
The location of the SD card slot on the back of the unit was an obvious oversight. Why not the side?
Dell includes their standard faire of bloatware and it's a 5- or 10-minute job of removing all of that without much fuss. Preferences on what to keep and what to remove will vary.
I've foregone including a lot of pictures of the actual unit - as many others will certainly present their own - so I could share various screen shots of the software/driver issues I encountered and had to remedy myself. These may prove valuable for others in their quests for support from Dell.
Pros:
Solidly constructed and actually good looking
Bright, uniform and utility customizable 1080p display
All the ports most people would expect & need although an additional USB-C port would have been nice in exchange for one of the USB-A's
Includes both a wireless mouse & keyboard to make for a complete package.
Outstanding WiFi connectivity with no speed dips or disconnects. 6e .. Yes!
Performs admirably even with its Ultra class i7 CPU and mobile type GPU arrangement
The factory installed SSD is just fast enough to impress
Cons:
Horrible driver/software experience in trying to get this thing up-to-date and running with what came installed
The speakers are sort of 'meh' and when this machine has trouble updating, it can sometimes put out a loud screech upon restart/boot up. In general day-to-day use, they sound Ok though and do the job
Rear mounted SD card reader is a goof
I can only recommend the Dell - Inspiron 27" All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen for those that know how to 'fix' OEM software issues shipped from the factory or the less nerdy customers who don't mind having to clock in a lot of tech support time with Dell. For those that want a truly "plug & play" experience... they should probably skip this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hey YourMainDude,
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review. We are glad you like some of the features of your Dell Inspiron 27 AIO computer but we are sorry to hear you experienced some issues with the freezing, Support Assist, driver updates, and you are also not too happy that it includes only one USB-C port. We will share your feedback with our quality team so that improvements can be made to our current and future products and services.
For your future reference, I have included troubleshooting tips and articles on how to solve these issues:
Here are the steps to help resolve freezing issue: 1. Search for Windows Error Codes. 2. Run a Computer Diagnostic. 3. Run Routine System Maintenance. 4. Update Drivers and BIOS. 5. Check Air Vents. 6. Check Safe Mode Symptoms. 7. Update Windows. 8. Uninstall, Reinstall, and Update Software. 9. Look for Multiple Anti-Virus Programs. 10. Check for Malware. 11. Use System Restore. 12. Factory Install or Reinstall Microsoft Windows.
1. A basic restart will always be a good first step for many situations. 2. Cancel the current update process and click "Check for Updates" again. 3. Reboot the computer in clean boot and reattempt the updates. 4. Note down the KB numbers for the updates that are having issues installing, boot into safe mode, and search for them on Microsoft’s site. 5. Repair your Windows installation and try again. 6. Delete all partially or fully downloaded Windows Update files.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Support Assist can help resolve the issue. Below we have provided the link on how to run a clean uninstall and reinstall of Support Assist.
