Replaced my Windows XP

This PC is SO much better than my Windows XP. There is no heavy bulky modem to fool with-it is light and compact with everything built in the monitor including the CD/DVD player. I was apprehensive at first. It sure is a far cry from my old one. I love the big monitor and the fact that you can view the screen either desktop or Windows 8.1 with all the apps or be connected to wireless or USB cable. I can even hook it up to my TV if I choose. I highly recommend the Dell Inspiron One-20 All-in-one Computer to anyone that is frustrated with trying ' to hang in there' with the older PC's-too many headaches to put up with. There are still lots I have to learn and become familiar with on this PC, but it beats the heck out of "hours" lost trying to wrestle with my on old one. One last thing, I had purchased a Dell laptop and hated it (too small and the print was hard to read-got a headache and a stiff neck), so I took it back and bought the Dell Inspiron One-20 All in One Computer--so glad I did.

I had an old CPU in my possession for over ten years with X.P. on it. It was slow, it didn't have all the features I needed (specifically for editing montages) and it didn't have a codec system that could play any and all formats as well as import into windows movie maker. After ten years of this, I said enough was enough and I went straight to Best Buy to invest in an all-in-one computer from the Dell corporation. I had recently bought a refurbished Dell Laptop and I was impressed with its capabilities that I decided to try on of their desktops.
Needles to say, this desktop didn't disappoint me at all. It had all the software I needed, it's fast and I'm totally loving the PowerDirector features from Cyberlink. Had I known that Dell had products like this, I would've purchased their stuff a lot sooner. I'm able to get twice as much done with this machine than I was able to with my old one. Combined with the fact that it doesn't need a tower (everything is stored into the computer screen) making it easier to move around and you've got a fantastic machine perfect for editing, schoolwork, web-surfing or watching movies (which is mainly what I used this machine for).
I totally look forward to purchasing more Dell products in the future.

Great screen resolution. loads of disc space, Intel 2.6 GHz chip, but only 4 Gig of RAM. However, performance is still good with the Intel chip. May not even have to upgrade the RAM. Some unnecessary software that I deleted, otherwise up and running right out of the box. Windows 8.1 is not my favorite, but I am slowly getting use to it.

I decided to upgrade once XP was no longer supported and since I have had several Dells and been quite satisfied with them, when I saw this at a good price I knew this was the one. I was set up in minutes. Later I hooked up my printer and it was recognized no problem. The screen is nice and big so I can watch TV episodes and movies if I like and performance is fine. I have had a bit of a problem losing my WiFi connection on my home network but that may not be the computers fault. And Windows 8 is challenging to say the least, but I am getting used to it. and the free apps are nice too. I am happy with my decision and would definitely buy it again.

Everything being included in the package was the reason I purchased this computer. Not having a tower is a great plus. It saves so much room. All the buttons are on the side of the screen which makes it less likely my kids will turn off the computer by accident or play with any other components. That was important to me.

I needed to replace my Dell XP computer. The Dell Inspiron One 20" model fit nicely on my computer table. There was no more tower on the floor and less wire clutter. The speed and capacity fit my needs for personal use. So far the performance has been excellent. It was a great deal for the price.

I'm at retirement age this year and because my older computer is aging as well, I decided to trust Best Buy again. Called BB on the phone and discovered the "buy of the day". Cost about half my tax refund and well worth it. My first HD computer and the pictures and videos are excellent. Fast, reliable and up to date. The speakers are a little small but adequate. I got out my extension speakers from the old BB E machine and they're working perfectly. Probably the "best buy" I've made at Best Buy!

Other than being extremely frustrated with Microsoft for forcing us in to Windows 8.1, the computer is perfect . It is fast, reliable and exactly what we wanted it to be.

I was looking for a replacement for my aging laptop. I realized I don't travel with it much anymore thanks to my smart phone, but I still wanted something compact in size. I decided to look into All-In-One computers, and found they were just as expensive as laptop computers.
Then I found this one, perfect for what I do. Surf the web, email, watch Netflix, rip music for my phone, etc. I like the huge hard drive, which gives me plenty of room for all my music and movies. Everything I need is already built in, CD/DVD drive, Bluetooth, WiFi. The only external components are the keyboard and mouse, so it still has that nice compact feel like my old laptop.
My biggest complaint is Windows 8.1. It is really bad. My laptop was running XP, so it was a huge change for someone like me. I am getting used to it, but I still hate it.

It's been a great computer overall. Fairly easy to set up and love that there's no bulky modem. The new windows is kind of hard to figure out but okay once you learn it. I love the Dell and would purchase another one . We also got a great bargain on a printer at best buy and we are very pleased with it also.

I have had my computer set up for 3 weeks now and everything is great. I bought a Dell again because my old computer was a Dell and it was 9 years old and still running strong, but it was time to upgrade from XP. I'm glad I did! This desktop is fast and easy to use. It has windows 8.1, but it is set up so that I can also use it just like XP with little difference except the speed. I like that it is all in one and does not have a separate modem.

Wanted a PC for basic computing needs. At this price I don't think it can be beat. I was a little surprised to see a wired keyboard and mouse included but no prob, got a compatible plug and play device for $20 (Logitech). Upgraded from MS XP so Win 8 has been challenging. There is a desktop mode that is similar to XP/Win 7 that has made things a little easier. I was also a little disappointed to find no Office software, not even Word. Overall great computer for my needs.

For the price it's an ok computer. It was bought for my parents to use. If you want a computer for simple use (no gaming) this is fine.

When my 10 year old desktop with XP decided to bite the dust I looked for a similar replacement and found this "All in One". The computer is great...easy to set up and get running, but the Windows 8 software was not at all simple....very frustrating to learn....and I still am not sure about how file management works. However, I am learning more about the system every day. Just expect to be dumfounded the first time you turn it on if you have never seen Windows 8 before.

Very nice computer. Easy set up and picture is very clear. Purchased a Gateway 7 years ago needed so many up grades decided to look for a new computer. The Dell beats it by a mile. The price was great!!! Love that it doesn't have a tower.
