The old monitor I was using had a delay when connected the MacBook. This one resolved the issue. Picture is great. Price also fit my budget.

Good quality display. Easy to install. Bought 2 for my extended display on my personal and work computer. Used a J5 docking station and had no issues with configuring the display.

I have several +24" monitors, some FHD, QHD others 4K. I've always felt that 24" monitors don't really benefit from QHD or 4K, that until you over 24" there is little advantage. However with faster refresh rates, I'm starting to see benefits of higher resolutions on smaller screens (even 15-17" laptop screens). Faster refresh rates help with modern video games and HD Video (BluRay/4K, HD streaming). This monitor supports 60mHz (progressive, every line updated each pass) and a 75mHz refresh rates. When running games the 75mHz refresh rate provides a smoother response. With fast moving video scenes 75mHz looks cleaner. However it's still a FHD (1920x1080) display, from a foot away, you can still make out the individual pixels, and the screen has about 1/8" black border inside the displays tiny bezel. I have other monitors I use side by side that have no "pixel" border adjacent to the bezel. So if your considering using this monitor with another side by side, there will be more separation that you might expect (don't measure the bezel alone). But the viewing angle of this IPS monitor is 178H/178V, which is excellent. The brightness is 300cd/m2 which is pretty average, but it's is brightness is very consistent edge to edge. The color output (RGB, contrast, saturation) can be adjusted pretty significantly. The minimum response time is 4ms which is fairly good. The screen is anti-glare, it has a matte coating, it's coating works very well. On the provided screen stand the monitor does not rotate, but it does have 100mm VESA mounting holes. In comparing to my other monitors, this one's colors are not as vibrant as the best of the others, it's resolution is nominal. For a 27" monitor I'd suggest at least a QHD display, but if cost is an issue this is a nice display. The black border makes it less than ideal for use in a multi-monitor configuration. But if it's just used to extend a FHD notebooks screen it just fine. Most notebooks have a similar brightness, and as a second monitor it's matte finish makes it easy to use in a bright environment. The many color/brightness controls make it easy to match up to a notebook (which I find important).

Three months ago, my old 24" monitor died and I needed a replacement in a hurry. This unit was a good price so I grabbed one. It's worked out well and I love the performance, it's a very nice upgrade over my old monitor.

TGreat monitor. Works well. Easy setup. Only complaint is that the adjustment buttons aren’t marked well at all. But it is very clear, and a great sized monitor for the price.

Perfect size. I love the height on the stand. I don’t need to buy an additional stand for it which is nice. Picture is clear. User friendly. 10/10.

This monitor is truly terrific. Good sharp quality, much brighter, and a few more features. Spreadsheets are crisp and easy to read now, and photos are night and day from my old Samsung monitor that I spent the same amount of money on a year and a half ago. The old monitor developed some bright pinpoints of light, so I bought this new Dell one. I should have done it many months ago. I spend many hours a day in front of my monitor, like many other people do, and even after two hours of using this new monitor I notice the difference in how my eyes feel. Buy yours now if you are not getting a sharp and bright view, do not wait like I did.

This was fantastic. Ealrier to buying this I worked without monitor directly on laptop which caused the strain on my shoulders and neck due to wrong posture. After switching and using this for a while I felt no pain and strains on my eyes. Worth for Money in my perspective. The picture and device quality was nice.

Very happy with this purchase. It has been great with my home office and gaming needs. Looking to pick up a second one soon.
