I'm predicting this monitor will be #1 in its class before too long. There are many reasons I'm making such a lofty statement. Keep in mind, this is not a review being written by a "Fan-Boy" of any brand. To me this monitor achieves the Trifecta of excellence: 1.Price 2.Quality 3.Functionality 1.) Not much can be said. To get a QUALITY 4k HDR+ monitor at this price-point at the time of writing this review is pretty hard to do. 2a.) Build quality. The bezels are unbelievably thin on this display. But at the same time the monitor is solid, as is the stand. No wobbly nonsense. The buttons at the bottom of the display are tight and have good tactile feedback. Finding/Using them in a darkened room is easy. 2b/3.) Image quality and functionality. This bad-boy delivers 4k UHD HDR+ and boy does it DELIVER. Text is crisp, and colors are vibrant. AT FACTORY SETTINGS. This has never happened to me before with a new monitor. I usually have to spend a good amount of time messing around with setting to get things "just right". So to me, this speaks highly of the quality of this DELL display. This display has replaced another brands 28" monitor. So I'm downsizing by 1" (but its well worth it!). This monitor is perfect for the gamer - as it is perfect for your every day PC user. There is a-lot to love about this display, And I stand by my prediction! Get this monitor if you want high quality in every aspect!!!

This is a great non-gaming 4k monitor or if you are okay gaming at 60Hz then this works great at that. I felt like the colors were surprisingly crisp and accurate compared to much more expensive monitors. I like the feel and look, it matches a similar style from my other Dell monitors. I did notice that the built in speakers seemed under powered. Just enough in a pinch but not enough to enjoy the sound. Most people get monitors for the screen anyway and this is a great 4k monitor for that and the budget. I noticed that if you disabled the speakers in the OSD menu on the monitor that it still presented the speaker ability to the PC. With an HDMI cable the monitor speaker was default. I did notice that the connector for the HDMI cable was a bit snug. It was fine for the included HDMI cable but any cable with a larger housing around the connector will not fit in the port. I did like that I did not see a drop in performance between the two HDMI ports. I would have liked to see a DisplayPort cable included but it did have a nice HDMI cable. I think they should have kept the built in USB hub of similar models and dropped the built in sound. You can download the drivers and monitor software from the Dell.com website but the experience is a bit much for a 27" monitor. I think it would be a good fit for monitors 32" and above.

i have Win 10 with an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super running dual monitors. For movies i use VLC. I had been wanting to upgrade to 4k for a while. I play a lot of games on Steam and knew I was missing out. I mostly play Civ IV and Galactic Civ III for my games The picture rendering is very good. I did not have any issues setting this up. Just make sure you use the correct cable. The flicker rate was acceptable, did not give me a headache like some monitors. This monitor is super bright, turn the brightness down. I changed the monitors color to games, brought down the intensity some also a few things do not buy this for the speakers. Wish Dell had put in a webcam or something instead. if you have a 4k monitor and a dual setup with a 1080p monitor you may have some mouse issues. I had to go to the top of the screen and go across. this is not a Dell issue, its a windows issue

I’ve been gaming for years and this monitor is excellent! The size is perfect. I’ve gamed on TVs and smaller monitors and I feel the 27” is a great size! The setup was so easy it takes less then 5 minutes! The display is so clean looking I’m absolutely loving it!
