Overall, the best features of the Dell XPS 15.6" is first and foremost, the amazing display. The resolution, the brightness, and the color reproduction are the best I have seen, The light weight and thin profile make this very easy to transport. The case itself is very well built with no cheap plastic panels. It is aesthetically sleek and refined in appearance, without the cheesy component manufacture stickers glued to the keyboard. The build quality is good overall. I did not give this 5 stars for two reasons. First, the "7" key on the keyboard is defective out of the box, the key is bent inward at lower side and does not respond unless it is tapped hard at the top of the key. Second, the keyboard is small and takes a bit of getting used to typing. The keys feel like they are very close together, and the keyboard dimensions seem cramped due to the speaker placement on either side. Other than that, I have had this laptop for about a month now, and aside from the 7 key issue it is performing well. For someone with small hands the keyboard should be fine. Time will tell how it stands the test of time.

My son wanted a laptop for college. We choose this as it is light, sleek, versatile, fast and easy to carry. This laptop fulfills all the needs of any college student or professional. Highly recommended for any person who wants the best laptop at a reasonable price and that provides one with all the features needed for every day office and students. I recommend this over all other brands as DELL has always made big waves and proved to be the best for decades. I was rather compelled to write this review as I wanted others to consider this laptop as it is the best one can have.

Llaptop that feels like a luxury, XPS-15

The Dell XPS 15 nails the fundamentals of any great laptop. It’s attractive, enjoyable to use, and has a stunning OLED display (in the configuration we tested). These traits make it a superb laptop to use day-to-day for anything from web browsing to photo editing, programming, and 3D rendering. It’s portable, too. The XPS 15 weighs a hair more than four pounds, is just seven-tenths of an inch thick, and is narrow enough to fit in most backpacks and messenger bags with a laptop compartment. The battery can last a full workday if you avoid demanding applications.

This is an amazing, beautiful machine! Fast? Yes! I instantly fell in love with this, coming from an XPS 13 that was just 2 years old, this feels like home and better! If you are looking for the best of the best, good screen, well designed, slim profile, small bezels, this is the one. The white carbon interior is a lovely, unique trait too. The only change I would make, upgrade to 32gb, which this machine does support. SWEET!

I received this item for free from Best Buy and Dell in exchange for my honest review of the product. I have to say, this is definitely a nice computer! It looks very much like a MacBook (even though it costs twice the price of the MacBook) - it is bright white and very sleek looking. There were a few things that I was not impressed with, if not downright irritated about, that really shouldn't be a thing with a computer at this price point, in my opinion. The first thing is, there are no USB or HDMI outlets on the computer - you have use a (included) dongle in order to attach anything to the computer, which made my next irritation hard to remedy: the touch pad was difficult to use. It is large, but the "buttons" are not split down the center of the touchpad, if that makes sense, so even when you think you are right clicking, it's actually left clicking. Simple fix, right? Nope. To use a regular wireless mouse, you can't just plop in the USB adaptor, you have to dig out the dongle and have it hanging out the side of your computer. Because of that, I had to go out and buy a Bluetooth mouse to be able to use the computer without getting annoyed because of the touchpad. Finally, the bottom of the computer gets really hot so be careful when you use it directly on your lap! Those irritations aside, it is definitely a recommended computer. Could you get similar results from a cheaper computer? Probably, but I'm an avid Sims 4 player, and this computer easily handles the heavy graphics and the battery life is pretty decent when playing games, so it is a win-win for me. The display is very clear and defined, and the sound is great as well. I also like that it is not a tiny computer, as so many are nowadays, so it would be a good desktop replacement, but isn't too heavy or cumbersome that you couldn't travel with it, either.

Once you go OLED you won't go back! Love this laptop! Got mine on sale 2099.99. First thing I did was upgraded the RAM to 32GB, and a 980 Pro 2TB SSD. The only thing I wish it had is Wi-Fi 6e. Love the white color, and nice change from black all the time. Advanced optimus would be nice, to bypass the intel card and just use the 3050Ti. Handles everything I have done so far, I don't game so can't comment on that aspect. If you're on the fence don't hesitate get it while it's on sale!

With a top of the line processor, a top of the line graphics card, and more than enough RAM and SSD storage, this laptop is what dreams are made of. I would've given this laptop 5 stars. However, for some reason, whenever the laptop gets really warm, the trackpad starts to jump all over the place and it's unusable until the laptop cools off again. Overall, build quality is premium and makes you feel like a million bucks.

I've been researching this laptop for some time and finally the price dropped and i pulled the trigger and bought it - extremely happy. Its faster than expected for general browsing, handles my day to day MS office apps, my Visio, my design apps etc.. at the same time, Plenty of hard drive space, cpu, etc to do my photo editing - one bit of advice, purchse a usbc lan adapter - needed it for transferring 400gb of data,,,,

Picked this guy up two weeks ago. The show stopper is that gorgeous 3.5K OLED screen with its inky blacks and rich colors. This laptop features an excellent keyboard, expansive trackpad, and has great performance. My only gripe is that you can chew through the battery quite quickly if you’re not careful and you need to be plugged in for maximum performance. The included USB C dongle (usb a + HDMI) is a nice touch.

Have had and used for going on two-weeks now. Clean sleek design, visually pleasing as part of my work-from-home station. Also easily upgradable as for RAM and M2 drive. Loaded with Windows 11 which is an improvement over 10 for my needs. I work with document including large design drawings. I am still excited to see this machine every morning and to use it everyday!

I have a Dell XPS Desktop and have been very impressed with it so after researching many different Laptops I decided to purchase the Dell XPS 9510 Laptop. It is lightning fast and works like a charm. I upgrade memory from 16 GB to 32 GB. I also ordered a Dell Docking station separately to allow me to add more peripherals. I am very happy with the Laptop.

Just wow... Such a beautiful display. CPU and GPU is good. Fast full size SD card reader too. I did not like the arctic white though... the carbon fiber woven deck felt more like plastic than glass. I can't wait to see what 2022 has in store for the XPS line. Tip: These will be on sale soon so just wait a bit if you want to save some cash.
