After looking/researching what I needed/wanted for a laptop to edit photographs and some videos (from time to time), I opted for this Dell XPS 17" UHD+. Here are some of the factors that led me to this particular computer: * 17" screen (more real estate makes editing easier) * 32 GB RAM essential * Dedicated graphics card w/memory - Also necessary for rendering * Backlit keyboard - Early morning work helps with this feature * A full SD built-in slot for memory card from camera - so much a time saver * Accurate colors - The ratings are there * SDD internal drive - no mechanical parts is huge * Adequate front-facing camera - Need this for Zoom call primarily...and it's fine Some of my initial hesitations for buying this particular laptop: * This was an Open Box and have never considered going this route with a computer or camera purchase. However, the saving was significant. To date, not issues. * Had a Dell desktop years ago and was plagued with problems and didn't want a repeat - Did call their HELP/SUPPORT line and the help was excellent. I am happy with this purchase and opening graphic programs is quick and I can view edits in real time without waiting much of my life for something to happen. That's a true joy...

A top of the line laptop at a price to match. The screen is large and beautiful. The 32GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD is more than adequate. They're both easily upgradable when the need arises in the future. And the discrete graphics card is a major plus. Can't believe I got this at at a discount.

Excellent laptop computer! Crisp, clear, vivid picture. Everything loads quickly. Touchscreen only needs the slightest touch. I would highly recommend this product.

Its been a great computer for me. Fast, able to handle the Adobe programs like Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Its been two years and its still going strong.

This laptop has almost everything I was looking for except for the standard USB port & number pad. It's very bright, well constructed, light weight, fast 8 core CPU, boots fast, has a large track pad and nice keyboard layout. According to the specs/reviews that I read online, this laptop was also supposed to have a very good battery life. Notebookreview tests range from 2 hours on full load to as high as 18 hours, one of the BB reviewers states 12 hours, and Dell technicians stated anywhere from 3 to 7 hours. After a few weeks of testing on the lowest brightness and "best battery life" in the power mode setting was a maximum of 2 hours and 45 minutes. My test results are after consulting with Dell's support team and updating all the latest drivers, bios, and chipset device software. This item is no longer stocked by BB to do an exchange and not sure if they're going to carry the 9710 anytime soon to see if it's any better.

This is my wife's who hasn't had a new laptop in over 10 years, it was time. Starts up great, speaker sound is outstanding for music, thin profile is really nice, it's solid like you would expect from a Dell. It has 4 USB-C ports that the power supply can plug into. You will have to adapt from USB-C or SD card to any peripherals. She uses a Bluetooth mouse so that's not a problem.

My Dell - XPS 17" UHD+ Touch Laptop - Intel Core i7 is by far the best laptop that I have ever purchased for home use. It is so easy to use. And it is beautiful to look at. No technical problems in over 16 months of use.

I had to return the first Dell XPS 17 because it was dead on arrival. Took it back into the store and they immediately reordered it and it was at my house in 3 days. This unit is fine. Still hear a little clicking on the mousepad but other than that, it is works very well

Best laptop I’ve ever used. The price is a bit steep but man this blows the closest MacBook Pro out of the water.

This laptop is incredible! I LOVE it and have used it for about a week now with no issues. This is by far the best laptop on the market. It is so fast and I can play games on it without any problems. The laptops display is bright and is quite a show stopper. The carbon fiber feels amazing when you type on it. Do not hesitate and BUY this computer!

I like it, I got good advice from the Sales staff and I look forward to using it. The Geek Squad came out to help me and that Guy was awesome! After my visit to your Store in person to transfer more data from the old hard drives I have I will then be in a position to use it. Until then all I can say is I'm pleased thus far.

what a great computer. lightweight for a 17inch and as compact as they can make it. a terabyte of ssd, 4k screen and 1st rate setup by geeksquad. a senior could'nt ask for more.

Very good laptop works great with amazing battery life of over 12 hours just flawless overall and the video and sound are excellent too!

Second time buying a laptop from Best Buy. I love this device however my trackpad came very wobbly and loose. Still trying to see if I want to live with it or return/exchange it. Best Buy customer service has been great in the past so just deciding on if it's worth paying $3000 for a laptop with a wobbly trackpad
