THIS WORKS SO EXCELLENT AND THE LARGE DEEP BASKET MAKES IT EASIER AND QUICKER TO GET DONE FRYING. ITS LIKE GOING TO KENNEDY'S FRIED CHICKEN AND THE DESIGN AND CONTROLS ARE SIMPLE TO USE. ITS A MUST HAVE DEEP FRYER AND I SHOPPED AROUND BUT THE OTHER HAD A SHALLOW BASKET AND YOU HAD TO PUT IN WORK TO REMOVE THE OLD GREASE. THIS UNIT HAS A DRAIN SPOUT THAT MAKES IT QUICK AND EASY WITH NO MESS TO DEAL WITH.

I purchased this deep fryer several weeks ago, and have used it quite a bit. It cooks very evenly, and has a large/deep well. The basket is large, but is cheaply made, unlike the rest of the unit which is all stainless steel, and good quality. Not elite quality, not high quality, but good quality, as in acceptable/above satisfactory. There is really only 1 major issue with this unit, and that is the hood/cover. The vents in the top do their job well, but they are simply not big enough to prevent condensation which makes the window pretty much unusable. Also when using the basket, the cover will stick to the basket handle and requires two hands to remove from the unit, causing water condensation buildup to splash into the hot oil. The only saving grace to this is that the hood is somewhat protecting you from being scalded by boiling grease. Overall, it's a great unit, given the price. Change the hood to include more vents, and not stick to the basket handle, and it would be excellent.

I had been looking for a decent deep fryer for a long time. This deep fryer performs better than I had hoped. Easy to clean. It helps that the unit is a stainless steel model. It wont look old or greasy after you use it a few times.

this deep fryer is really great, its huge so you can fry a lot of food, and you can also drain the oil out so you can clean it.

i love this fryer. i usally dread clean-up after the kitchen appliances but this one is very easy to drain (oil) and quick cleanup. The stainless steel insides makes it easy to wash off the burned oil/grease marks, with just regular dish soap. The size is great for medium to large entertainment purposes (recently with holidays & all, i've had a good use of it). I am now tempted to buy a smaller one for daily use.

I have had several deep fryers but this one is by far the best. Love the adjustable temperature settings and the large basket. Easy to use, easier to clean!

I have tried several types and brands of home deep fryers over the years, none of which performed well. As such, I was dubious in my expectations for this product. I was surprised and very pleased to find that the DeLonghi 4-Liter Dual Zone Deep Fryer performs flawlessly and produces perfectly fried foods. What a treat, homemade onion rings, deep fried homemade pies, fried okra, deep fried pork chops, double coated deep fried chicken, country fried steak, all fried to restaurant quality perfection. I can hardly believe how well this fryer performs!!! I would definitely reccomend this product to prospective buyers.

This is a great fryer. Holds temperature and drains old easily for disposal.

nice unit so far working well but only had it for a short time.had a problem with another delonghi product which failed within the warranty period but item was replaced.i think this product will operate for longer than 3 months.will give an update later on.

It is simple to operate, works great and is easy to clean. My only regret is that I did not get something larger.

Quality product reminds me of a smaller version of my old restaurant fryer.

The deep fryer worked has advertized, once I read the instructions, LOL

Worked great for almost a full 3 months, now won't turn on at all. P.O.S. buy a different brand.
