As a beginning espresso maker I was very nervous about buying a coffee maker. I finally decided to give the DeLonghi a chance and I now know I made the best choice! It is perfect on my counter, doesn't take up a lot of room. But the big test was making coffee. It passed all tests and I now make coffee with ease. So easy to work and also easy clean up. I am so happy with my purchase! For any beginner this machine is the best and believe me, I did so much homework before purchasing one. Have fun with it and enjoy a great cup of espresso.

The DeLonghi Espresso maker does a great job with making frothy espressos. I've owned other espresso makers that work well but require that you purchase their espresso pods. This espresso maker allows you to use your own coffee grounds which allows you to change the flavor whenever you want. The ability to use your own grounds also reduces the amount of waste created by the competitor’s espresso pods. The built-in steamer/milk frother is also a great feature. The other espresso makers I’ve owned have a separate appliance to froth the milk which is not as convenient at the built-in frother that this DeLonghi offers. The only issue I had with this espresso maker is that you need to use short coffee cups as seen in the photo. There is not enough room for my regular tall coffee mug to fit underneath. This espresso maker also has a small footprint, which I appreciated. It doesn't use up very much counter space and is very easy to clean and use. Overall, I feel this is a great product for the price and I am very pleased with this purchase.

The delonghi espresso machine is fantastic. I love how simple it is to make a double shot espresso or single shot. It is very simple to use and the milk frother works like a charm. I made latte, cappuccino, and espresso all in one machine. I like that it is not bulky and heavy and easy to transfer if needed. This became my new day to day coffee machine. I really like the easy to use scoops and filters. It looks great too. I will highly recommend this machine to anyone who loves coffee. It's very easy to clean as well which is an added bonus. I received this product to test from ReviewClub.

I was looking for an espresso maker after a recent addiction to BuckStars cofffee. After a few months, I was hooked paying $6-$7 with tip 2x a day. That's $14 per day, which is $320 per month. With the new addition of DeLonghi espresso maker, I gleefully wake up each morning to make my wife and I a double shot espresso white chocolate mocha. You may spend $20 a month in milk, whipped cream and various syrups for two people however, That's a drop in the bucket compared to the $3,800 a year I would be paying BuckStars. The machine is high quality for the price and efficiently supplys perfect espresso shots with minimal wait time. It might take 5 minutes each morning for 2x doubleshots and 10 minutes for 2x large white chocolate mochas. Minimal cleanup and wake up time makes our mornings a breeze. My wife constantly raves about the extra productivity and alertness she has at work after consuming a DeLonghi made caffeine beverage. My only complaint, and I mean only, is the height from the drip to the cup. You need a very small glass, a little taller than a shot glass, to successfully capture the espresso greatness. If you can afford $50-$100 more, it will be money well invested for a larger machine, but if on a tight budget you will not be disappointed in your morning wake up routine. If you watch a few YouTube videos, you will be able to pull a perfect shot of espresso each and every time with little to no learning curve. I am no professional, but that doesn't stop me from getting my homeade BuckStars on. Wooooo!

I think this espresso machine is a good quality for the price, but definitely isn’t great. The espresso tastes OK, and the machine is easy to use. I love the taste of espresso as it is, so FOR ME this machine doesn’t necessarily cut it. I think this machine is better for someone who maybe likes espresso, but also uses creamer and other things.

I was looking for a hobby during lock down, and this fit the bill. It doesn't take up much space, and it works pretty well. I've been using it for about a month. The milk steamer takes some getting used to, but I'm a total novice so it could be me, too. I recommended it to a friend, and now we send pictures back and forth on the group chat to see who can make the better latte.

this is probably the 4th or the 5th of the same machine that I bought. it is made well and priced reasonable compared to the other alternatives and brands in the market. However, a few points... I make 4-5 latte or cappuccino per day with filtered tap water. previously used distilled water only with my older machines. release the pressured steam after each run and don't start a new water heating cycle unless you release all the pressure from a previous frothing process. the pressured steam wrecks the piping inside. and pipes are plastic. dont switch it on and leave for an hour. amazingly, the wiring inside is not made to take sustained high temperatures. they may short before 2 years. clean the frothing tip/nozzle every once in a while. tamper is a joke. it is useless at best. some experience: my first machine died due to plumbing. plastic tubes died somehow after 3 years. second machine died as the wires shorted. third machine died as the knob on top (the valve) wore out and broke. so don't tighten it too much. so i am on the 4th machine and bought the 5th just in case. i have been using the 4th for over 1.5 years...

It’s a bit noisy but for the price I thinks is a really good value. We’ve had it for a few months now and it works as it should, there is some shaking as the other reviewers mention but it’s not excessive. My wife is the one that uses it so it’s only used for one or two shots everyday and We are happy with it.

Bought this because we wanted to make cappuccinos. We haven't found a great coffee grind for espressos, yet. Anyway, we were mostly driven by price and the features for the price made this purchase a no-brainer. The brand name was a plus. The coffee is good, the cappucinos are okay. I'd spend the same money again for this, no regrets.

Very easy to use espresso machine, it has single and double shot options for portafilter. The disadvantages could be small space under portafiler if you don’t have espresso cups, and the tamper that’s installed on the machine doesn’t work very well. These don’t keep you from making good espresso though. Overall I would recommend it!

I have been drinking espresso for over 30 years and I must say this machine makes a great cup of espresso. I am not much of a cappuccino drinker, but my daughter is. She says this machine does a great job of frothing with both regular milk and almond milk. It’s not only good, but it’s is also much faster then my traditional stove top coffee maker. I highly recommend this machine. It’s at a great price too.

So I was really excited when I bought this. However there os two things I don't like. All the noice it makes and also you can’t fit no mug/cup under the dispenser literally you will struggle to find something to put under to get the shot.

Pulls decent shots and do a passable job on frothing. A little bit small for my preference but it is a great space saver. Tamper is not removable but it works. Single boiler but steamer preheats rather quickly as well.

Completely reasonable place to start for your caffeine addiction. You can use of the shelf bagged coffee and get a good cup of coffee. The steamer work's okay, you won't want to try heating a large amount of milk with this. There are a lot of little modifications you can do to improve it, to get a better tasting shot out of it. One of the biggest down sides is the small portafilter. It's only 51mm where the standard size is 58mm. Finding a tamper for it is very difficult and when you do it ships from China on a very slow boat. The built in tamper is almost impossible to use and ends up making a mess

I get espresso drinks all the time at coffee shops in town, but I like doing things myself and staying home on weekend mornings. I had one of those $<40 Mr. Coffee espresso makers for years and I never knew the flavor, lower temp/less bitter espresso I was missing! Technically, that Mr. Coffee espresso maker was only making hot coffee with a little pressure behind it! It produced way hotter, less flavorful "espresso" and it didnt actually have the pressure required to technically be called espresso (8 or 9bar?) and it didn't extract as much oil or flavor. Now to the DeLonghi. On startup, it sounds like an air compressor for a shop. This went on for almost 10 minutes and then it gave me the ready light. Since then, every time I use it, it is no louder than a fish tank water pump and makes amazing espresso, up to 4oz at a time. The water reservoir holds enough to do (x1) rinse and (x1) 4oz shot two or three times. Had it for about a month. Works great for me!

Easy to use, easy to clean. I have bought a similar machine in this brand and it lasted about 5 years. I make 2-4 coffees EVERYDAY. For a $99 machine this was a good value to me. Much cheaper than going to Starbucks every day.

The machine is only as good as the coffee you put in it. You need finely ground coffee to get the best results as not ground enough will simply give you weak coffee. But it's good for the price and does what it's supposed to.
