I'm very pleased with this receiver. Set up was easy. Surround sound works great with my Bose Acoustimass speakers and matches up perfectly with my TCL TV. Best of all, the Bluetooth link to my head phones allows me to listen at the volume I prefer while my wife listens to the speakers at the volume she likes or I can mute the speakers when she is asleep. It's a real marriage saver.

We needed a receiver for my new theater room and found this one on BestBuy.com. I was thinking of a lower-priced unit, but my husband said that this one had more features that we could definitely use. Having now installed it, we are WOWED! Great sound for my home theater system and lots of extras. We are very happy with our purchase!

This is my second Denon receiver. Replaced old Denon of 25 years to this Denon AVR-X1600 7.2 4K UHD AV Receiver! With a large home theater room I had my doubts it would power my floor standing, center channel, and in ceiling surround sound speakers and it will literally rattle the windows in my whole house! Great sounding and very easy to use!

I like this reciever. It does have a dated looking GUI but that doesn't bother me because the features and functions are what I need to shine. Plenty of power so far but I and using it as a 3.2 for now. 4k pass thru looks good. Sound is good. I would recommend a fan for it if it's going to be in a room/cabinet. Otherwise this is a pretty solid AVR

Denon AVR-X1600H is an amazing receiver with a price tag to fit someone on a Budget building a home theater system. This Denon has all the higher end options as it's other big brothers. it's 4 K UHD Resulting in clean sound Quality & crisp true colors with a lower price tag as it's higher end big brothers in this Denon AVR family .

I replaced my 20+ year old Denon receiver with this one. The power and clarity in my surround sound speakers is terrific. I'm still learning the HEOS system, but my research shows it is going to be great too. You could pay more, but why? A fabulous addition to my system.

Awesome receiver! Love the built in setup with microphone, sets up all your surround sound speakers perfectly for the way they are set up in your listening area. Clear and crisp should with all the newest features like Dolby atmos. A must buy for your entertainment center!

hooked it up and right away thought i was worse off than before. i am used to receiver that has adjustments in a menu for quick tuning. new tech is different. lots of sub classes to chose from. that would be my only complaint. it has great power ease of use once you get used to it and it looks sleek.

We installed this receiver in our game/theater room. It is mostly used when my son plays video games. Even with some relatively low quality speakers, this receiver sounds great. Easy in screen setup. We have the receiver connected to our Wifi and use the HEOS app.

Upgraded to more power and to have Bluetooth and wifi features. Matched with Klipsch and Boston Acoustics Speakers. Settings for sound adjustments and ability to listen at low volume with strong separation is great. However, when you want to shake the walls?, no problem there either.

This is a good receiver for the price. I have it connected to family room tv to replace an older model. Sound is very good. The room is pretty big so we have to turn it up. Probably would recommend a higher power for a big room. Setup was easy with the on screen instructions. Takes about 15 minutes.

Terrific product. Easy to setup and is definitely state of the art. I bought this for my 7.1 surround sound system and it delivers a terrific sound quality and is easy to use. More than I wanted to spend, but I feel I got my money’s worth.

It's ok. We had been told it would be ok for smaller areas but I think it is way to powerful. But it is a great system. I still don't like all the wire and cords. And it's so bulky.

This receiver is a great value for a 7.1 or a Dolby Atmos set up. The passthrough for sound is amazing and setting it up with Audesssy is easy. You can't go wrong with this piece of equipment for your home theater system.

I have to say I really really like this receiver 7.1 sounds amazing on my speaker system my last receiver broke so I looked into the Denon when I was doing some research pull the trigger bought this thing got a good deal on it at Best Buy and I could not be happier all the things that I have hooked up to it work flawlessly shifting from one source to another I could not be happier as a great receiver do you want your home theater to sound awesome this is a great one to get

If you are looking for a step up in receivers, this is a great product. It makes it simple for setup and produces great sound. I started with an Onkyo receiver and moved to this after the Onkyo stopped working.

Have had Denon products before and was always impressed. Bought this for the 4K sound and a new TV and I am not disappointed at all. Easy to set up. Sound quality is superb. Fills the room.

excellent power like that has 7 channels. also many outputs for my dvr and also tv . all hdmi.. surround sound and has the sub out put. love it for the price works awesome

Great receiver. Easy setup. Love the mic to analyze the room sound and adjust the speakers. Plenty of connections. Plenty of options for setup. Highly recommend. I love Denon!
