This receiver has all the inputs I need and can drive all the speakers I have as well as future wireless speakers I have yet to add. The set up was easy and the music and videos are clear and exciting. It is not as powerful, though, as my previous receiver, Pioneer VSX-21TXH. I am running Def Tech BP7004 loud speakers, C/L/R 2002 center, and UIW BP/A surrounds and this Denon receiver is a great addition.

I added the Denon AVR-X2600 to my existing 7,2 speaker system in a finished home theater room. I am using the two center rear speakers which are mounted at the top of the wall near the ceiling as the two height speakers. I configured the Denon in the Atmos virtual configuration and I get absolutely great sound. The two height speakers add great depth to the sound quality. Very pleased ...

Ample ports for Roku and add on speakers for a 7.2 surround sound. Would be nice if remote was illuminated. Easy setup ....even for a novice

Upgraded to allow for 4k passthrough and improved Dolby audio options with newer offerings. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It was a perfect swap of wires from my Sony amp.
My only complaints would be that the remote doesn't light up to see the buttons and it is somewhat rudimentary in design.
But most important, the functionality of the amp and the audio experience is great.
It doesn't appear that the ARC capability supports 4k so I'm using SPDIF optical out for the TV audio.

This receiver is super easy to use and the interface is fairly intuitive. I used this on a super old speaker system and it brought life back into the speakers! Only odd thing is I cannot figure out how to power the sub with the rest of the surround sound. I think it's more of an issue on my end and not the receiver.

Denon makes a fantastic receiver. I would definitely recommend this receiver for someone looking to upgrade their current system. Very easy to set up with step by step on screen tutorials. They changed where the speakers are connected from rows of two high to a flat line along the bottom which is much easier now to get the speaker wires in.

Purchased the receiver while on sale. The hdmi port density was a huge factor, allows me to connect all my components without having to use additional switches. Setup was easy, using 7.1 configuration with Sony floor/center/atmos height speakers. Auto-input recognition made keeping everything straight easy.

This is my 3rd denon receiver and, like the others, it delivers. My other two receivers were a little more high end (with more power) but this product still makes the room shake (rated 95 W per channel @ 8 ohms). The features are nice although HEOS (wireless streaming) interface could be a little simpler to use/setup.

Purchased this for Dolby Atmos and EARC. Setup was super easy. Calibration works very well. Adding Dolby Atmos speakers was simple. Also, EARC works flawlessly, allowing me to use my built in apps and still have great sound. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Purchased this during the X-mas sales and for the price and the features it has been a great unit. Liked the connections that it offed compared to other models in the same price point and the power output was higher and other models in the same point with the options that I was looking for. Setup was easy and the only strike I say against it so far was the fact it didn't support some surround options like 6.1

Overheats

I have this receiver where nothing is obstructing airflow and if I play music at 70% volume for 20 minutes or longer it overheats. The only way I found to keep it from overheating is to put a fan directly on it. Seems for the money I spent on it it should have its own internal fans.
