Bought as a pair to use in stereo mode. music would go out of sync. Plugged into wired network issue went away. You would think with the money you pay for these that wouldn't be an issue as im sure the built in mics help identify which is left and right speaker why couldn't it buffer itself to keep insync

Beautiful design and heavy with a nice fabric cover. It screamed high quality coming right out of the box.
Set up was pretty simple. Just download the HEOS app and follow the instructions. Only one glitch that worked itself out by just starting over. Not sure what I did, but it wouldn’t find my network at first and the light didn’t turn green. Restarted and it went right through.
First placement was on my desk in an open space and wasn’t that impressed with the bass. Once I moved it closer to a wall, the bass really kicked in. Since the bass comes out the back of the unit, I’m assuming the improvement was due to the reflection off the wall. Be careful if you live in an apartment and put it near your neighbor’s wall
There is a placement setting in the app. I found using the “open space, away from walls” setting the best even though it is near a wall. Experiment with that.
Very loud. Easily fills my living room with crystal clear audio even at lower levels. Very impressive.
Recently added Amazon Music HD to my account and the difference is really night and day. HD music sounds incredible on this. It really comes alive in HD.
A couple of cons:
I wish the EQ in the app had midrange and not just bass and treble sliders. You could really dial it in with a midrange slider. Maybe a future update will add that. One can only hope.
I had really hoped to use this with my PC as Bluetooth but there is a really bad audio delay (1-2 seconds) between what’s really playing and what comes out of the speaker. Doesn’t matter if just playing audio but impossible to play a game or watch a video like that. No amount of rebooting, un-pairing and re-pairing it helped. Maybe I’ll eventually get that figured out but for now, I’m giving up on that. None of my other Bluetooth speakers have this issue so I’m at a loss…
This is definitely one of the best speakers I’ve ever heard. Love it!!

Amazing sound. Extreme lows. Ended up returning because there was just too much bass. But will definitely purchase again when we have a home and don’t share walls.

First off, the Denon Home 350 Wireless Speaker is not for everybody. Given its high price point, it’s clearly designed for true audiophiles (with deep pockets). Secondly, this thing is big, I mean breadbox big. But it will fill your room (and probably your house) with an incredibly rich sound.
I’ve been a devotee of Denon sound systems for decades. Their sound and build quality are hard to surpass, and this unit is worthy of the Denon brand.
The first thing that impressed me about this unit was the separation. As rich and remarkable as the sound is with this speaker, it uniquely separates the vocals from the music and allows you to hear the singer as clearly as I’ve ever heard.
The treble is remarkable; you can hear every single percussion instrument, no matter how subtle it may have been on your other speakers. The midrange is solid, delivering your music like you’ve never heard it before. The bass response is the best I’ve ever heard, and I own more than a few high end speakers. The bass is deeper than I can recall from a speaker, without drowning out every other instrument. I played a track with the heaviest bass I have, and this speaker delivered. The bass was booming! Even at high volume, there was absolutely no distortion. Zero.
The top of the unit has Play, and Volume up and down buttons that light up automatically for you to see when your hand passes over the unit. There are also preselect buttons (1 -6 ) that you can program to play your favorite music streaming service.
The Denon Home HEOS app had me up and running in no time. Music can be played wirelessly from the app via your home network or Bluetooth connection. The app has a healthy array of all major music streaming services that make it easy to switch from one service to another with a mere touch of the company’s logo. Once your streaming service has been activated in the app, the preselect buttons on top allow you to play that service without using your phone or streaming source.
The USB port in the back of the unit is perfect for plugging in my iPod to keep it charged. That was a nice touch.
This Denon Home 350 is the end all, be all, in wireless speakers. It has the best sound quality I’ve ever heard. The high price point might scare away the casual listeners, but true audiophiles will pay for the privilege of listening to their music with the best quality there is in a wireless speaker.
This speaker is amazing, and I am so happy to have it.

the good:
- sound, sound, and more sound - Wow! I've never heard anything this small pump out this much quality sound. Great for near-field listening but also pretty easily fills up a medium sized space with what feels like tons of headroom.
- design and footprint - Call me old fashioned, but I like the simplistic design. A small and clean rectangle shape with a relatively small footprint. Nothing fancy (on the outside, that is).
- easy setup and connectivity - I found the setup via the HEOS app very straight forward. Assuming you have decent wi-fi (or use the included ethernet port) signal is rock solid. Once I paired it with my iPad, the rest of my Apple devices now see it and play over the 350 just by selecting the audio out from the device. Very cool!
- sound quality over a broad codec spectrum - This to me is a big one in the "pro" column - this guy is clearly designed to make the most of whatever your source is. Play compressed music (Pandora) through the 350 and it sounds really good. Give it lossy AAC or MP3 files (Spotify or Apple Music) and holy cow does it come to life. Play some lossless files (FLAC or ALAC) and oh man, audiophile territory! Sound is punchy and accurate, clear from top to bottom. I wouldn't say it's entirely neutral but it isn't overly bright either. Everything just sounds *right*, if that makes sense.
the bad:
- No *real* complaints with this speaker. My only super minor nit-pick is that the sticker on the face uses a tacky adhesive that doesn't come off cleanly. It's more of a nusance than anything, just means that you'll need to clean the area on the top before it's clean and ready to roll. It works fine otherwise.
misc:
- None to speak of. I'd have loved to test out the HEOS technology but that will have to wait for my next Denon speaker. From what I understand, the multi-room playback functionality is fantastic and I can't wait to try it out.
overall:
- Overall I have zero complaints with the 350. It's a little on the pricey side, but to me it very much feels worth it, especially if you're already (or plan to) dive into the HEOS platform. Excellent and copious amounts of sound in a small package.

The Denon - Home 350 Wireless Speaker is a terrific product. Packaged well, instructions clear and easy to link to my phone. I was really impressed with the sound quality. The sound was very crisp and clear. Bass is exactly as it should be, low rumbling without any kind of vibration that would distort the sound. This speaker is heavy! I know it can be mounted to a wall but it's suited very well as a bookshelf speaker. I have it set up on a halfwall between 2 rooms and it sounds awesome. My only criticism is the app that is used for this speaker. It's awful. Why do I need to use a 3rd party app to play music on Amazon music or Pandora? I'm unsure if there's a way around this, however the product is fantastic on its own.

First, if you’re in a hurry and just want my take away…I’m very impressed with this Denon Home 350 Wireless Speaker and can highly recommend it to others. If you buy one, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a lot of money, but probably would be worth it in your pursuit of great sound.
Full Disclosure: I received this product through Best Buy’s Tech Insider Network in exchange for an unbiased evaluation and review. I review products honestly and have written several unfavorable reviews since joining TIN in 2015.
Packaging
If you order the speaker online, it should make it to your home just fine. Mine arrived double boxed and very well protected. Denon did not skimp on packaging.
I found one item of packaging to be very unique. The speaker is wrapped in plastic. But, when un-boxing, if instead of just tearing it off, you carefully unfold the top of the plastic, it reveals itself to be a very stout double-handled plastic bag that allows you to just lift the speaker right out of the packaging and out of the box. I’ve never seen that before. You don’t need to flip the box upside down to tip the speaker out. You don’t need to claw at the speaker to try and hold onto it as you try and drag it out of the box. You just grab the bag handles and lift it up. Kudos to Denon for a new idea!
Setup
Actually, my wife was one who wanted this speaker for our bedroom. So, after I unboxed it, I turned it over to her and went back into my home office. Not five minutes later I heard music playing. I went back to check on her and found that in that short time she had installed the HEOS app on her android phone, connected to our Wi-Fi, and was streaming songs from Amazon Prime Music.
Normally, she doesn’t consider herself to be a very “techy” person and usually relies on me for that kind of stuff. So, I was extremely impressed with the ease at which she was able to get it set up. I tip my hat to both my wife and the engineers at Denon.
Sound Quality
OMG, this speaker delivers an outstanding sound. It is very impressive! I’m not an audiophile, and I don’t know how to put this in audio terms, but I do know what I like and I like this speaker’s sound! It basically delivers everything you want in a speaker.
The bass and treble can be adjusted using the equalizer in the HEOS app. Both are preset at the factory to play at the very middle of each range. The bass on the speaker is so strong that the first thing we did with the app was reduce the amount of bass. It really was impressive, but a bit strong for our taste. However, I’m sure the majority of listeners would revel in the pounding bass the Denon Home 350 Wireless Speaker delivers.
Features
The Denon Home 350 weighs in at a beefy 14 pounds and I think most of that is needed to keep it on the shelf when you have the bass cranked up.
This is definitely not a portable speaker. It’s audio stream may be wireless, but it still needs to be plugged into a 120 volt outlet.
Visually, the Denon Home 350 has a subdued personality. With its calm and minimalist design, it doesn’t scream look at me. It just wants you to listen.
The absolute coolest feature is the one we will probably use the least and that is the touch controls on the top of the speaker. We prefer using the HEOS phone app. What makes the touch controls cool, is the speaker has a proximity sensor that can detect when your hand is approaching the speaker and then illuminates the backlighting on the controls.
The Denon Home 350 offers Google Assistant, but we already have that on our Android smart phones. So, it is not a feature we will use a lot.
Recommendation
As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I’m very impressed with this Denon Home 350 Wireless Speaker and can recommend it without reservation.

The Home 350 is step up from the previous HS series and a great speaker. Lots of options to get music to it and the quality is fantastic. Unpacking is easy, in the box, the speaker is in a plastic shopping like bag. Just pull the handles up and it’s out of the box. The black is nice, smooth and had no blemishes. Setup requires the HEOS App (for most setup options), and power. Once plugged you’ll see the physical buttons from previous models have been replaced by touch ones on the top that light up when near them. A simple press does the action. You have USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, AUX, and wireless 2.4/5.0GHz for connecting. The HEOS App guides you through the process. Setup is simple. For Wireless it uses Bluetooth to initially setup the unit, and ethernet was detected immediately.
Once connected you can use the HEOS app to setup rooms, combine the unit with other HEOS enabled systems/speakers, and adjust the settings. There were firmware upgrades, and they take a few minutes to do. I currently have two HS2 setup in stereo mode with a Heos subwoofer. The 350 states it has stereo built in due to the number of speakers it has. In comparing the HS2s/subwoofer to the 350 by itself, the 350 is a good match. It is warmer and richer than the smaller HS2s. The subwoofer isn’t as booming as a dedicated subwoofer, but it was not far off. In higher volumes the 350 subwoofer did not distort. It has a wide soundstage for a single unit, it can do stereo by itself. From high to low, and classical to rock, the speaker sounded great. I used high-res music from my own server and from Amazon. The 350 really lets you appreciate the higher-level recordings. It catches all the nuances HD music can deliver.
In the Heos App, you can adjust the bass, treble, light settings, network setting, and do updates. I tried wireless, BT, and ethernet and music sounded great every time. It ran in sync with my HS2 setup easily. Make sure the speaker, Heos App, and any other applications are all updated to the lasted version. I had some connection issues, but after updating everything, and restarting, everything connected fine. Spotify is outside of the Heos app, and was able to see the speaker use it with no issues. The app can also adjust the sound based on where in the room you tell it the speaker is. Close a wall, or corner etc to maximize the sound. The speaker looks nice and delivers great sound anywhere you put it.

I have several friends that have Sonos systems and this speaker sounds better than the Sonos 5. Very deep bass and fills the room with sound. The HEOS app is very easy to use and integrates with my Spotify seamlessly. The speaker is very customizable through the app. It’s amazing how you can control many speakers independently and/or as a multi room experience without any bridge or connected amps. Very cool how it’s all through your phone. The only reason I took one star away is the price is a bit steep compared to the competition.

This speaker is a great wireless streaming speaker. The sound was able to more than adequately fill my living area as well as reach other areas of the house (approx. 1700sqft) with only one speaker putting out sound. The unit is heavy for its size and requires access to power to be plugged in. This is important to note in the event you are looking at multiple units in a single room. I don’t have other HEOS enabled AV so I did not test multiroom functions in the setup. The app is easily installed but a bit lackluster if you are used to in depth controls. This may be due to the shear simplicity of the speaker unit. Completing the WIFI setup was very quick and simple. After that however, I did not find the app overly intuitive to use. Despite spending some time with the app, I still find myself studying it to figure out how to switch music sources or put music in the queue. The EQ function only addresses treble and bass and doesn’t have any preset stops or indicators between units of 5 for the treble and bass settings. The sound is crisp and clear and the bass adequately fills out your sound. If you are looking for the full thump of a subwoofer, this unit does not have truly deep bass, but does well overall. Adjusting treble and bass in EQ make some difference to the sound output, but it is not jaw dropping or overly noticeable. I was able to easily stream music from my iPhone as well as Amazon Music, Youtube and SiriusXM. The preset feature allows you to choose 6 total presets from your favorite stations and have one touch access to them from the unit without having a phone or tablet nearby. I look forward to using this when I am entertaining and possibly expanding to add another speaker in the future for multi-location applications. Unit comes with wall mount thumb screw but does not include any mounts or mounting instructions. If you, like I did, decide to put the wall mount screw in the slot on the speaker to make sure you don't lose it, but position the speaker on a table, you will find it makes the speaker unlevel.

The sounds that come out of the Denon Home 350 Wireless Speaker is unbelievable. I honestly was expecting good sound due to the price and Denon's reputation, but when I first played music through the Home 350, I was blown away. The entire room filled with sound from this one speaker and the clarity of the highs and mids was beautiful. More than enough bass to round out the listening experience.
Setup is very simple through the HEOS app. Took less than 5 minutes to be up and running streaming music from all of my music services (Apple Music, Spotify, SiriusXM) and TVs through AirPlay 2. The app could use a little polish to make it easier to use, but overall, not complicated at all.
The Denon Home 350 has become my default music listening device in the home as the quality of sound is just amazing. The speaker is definitely more expensive than the competition, but I honestly think the sound quality is much better.

I have many many speakers. They all are good and all have their purpose. This one definitely is a main room speaker. It looks terrific imo. It clean square box that looks at place anywhere. I like the fact that it doesn't scream speaker when looking at it. This one speaker can easily fill a large room. The sound is amazing. I'm not an audiophile but considering all the bluetooth speakers i own, when I first played music through this, knocked my socks off. And that was at 50% volume. Turn it to 75% and the whole house can hear it. 100% was too loud, but, here's the best part, there was very little distortion at max volume. High mids bass, all there and all great. I can't say enough of the audio quality. I played every type of music to get a good understanding of the Denon 350, and nothing disappointed me. The reason for 4 stars? The HEOS app is, imo, not good. The best way I can describe the app...it's not intuitive and/or fluid. Feels real clunky to use. And the price, man, I'm torn. The sound is so good, but I don't know if i would justify this price. If you can afford it, absolutely recommend this unit. If price is a concern, I think there is some other good options out there. But, I can't stress this enough. I really do love the sound of this speaker. Blew me away at max volume

Denon has been one of the most respected brands in home audio for more years than I can count. When I heard that they had branched out into the wireless multi-room audio space I knew I needed to try out their latest effort and compare it to the brand I've been purchasing for years now.
First thing's first - the audio quality is incredible. There's just no other word for it. You can tell that the product was designed by engineers who prioritized this ahead of everything else. Using Tidal HiFi I was able to really put the unit through its paces and each new track in the playlist I was listening to made me say "Wow!" over and over again.
The HEOS app is clean, easy to operate, and looks to be very friendly for multi-room functionality though I still need to add another speaker or two to experience for myself. The unit is also Airplay compatible and can easily be addressed by other apps using this standard. I was able to go into my Spotify app and select as a speaker, allowing me to skip using the HEOS app separately if I wanted to. The two things I would like to see addressed in the app are:
The setup icon needs to be visible from all screens - it took me a while to realize where it was hiding once I was listening to music
The interface relies a lot on you having to use the back button to get through screens - this can be especially frustrating if you're deep down in levels in a music app for genres/folders/etc.
The unit completed two updates back to back once I had it up and connected to the network. Some people may find this concerning but I took it the opposite way, since it means Denon is very focused on making sure this product is delivering a great user experience and patching things along the way.
Overall I would say that if you prefer stellar sound quality over a polished UI, it's an easy decision to go with the Denon. I'm hoping they will keep investing in the HEOS app and some of these minor quirks will disappear over time.

*(For those of you not old enough to have seen 2001, it's a riff on a line from the end of the movie.)
TLDR: Best speaker I have ever owned regardless of wired, Bluetooth, wi-fi, whatever and I have owned some SERIOUS audiophile gear in the past (I'm talking headphones that cost more than two of these Denon 350s). App needs a bit of work due to a few issues but if you want some absolutely beautiful sounding music filling your home (assuming you have good quality recordings or streaming services), this is the speaker(s) to get.
I got the dual pack of the Denon 350s to ostensibly create a right channel / left channel pair in our living room and I was able to set all that up within minutes of taking these out of the box. It was incredibly easy to set them up using the HEOS app, log in to the HD wireless services I subscribe to (Amazon Music Unlimited and Tidal), and then set each to be their respective channel. I first fired up some HD streams of The Rolling Stones and I darn near wept. I haven't heard music so pure since I gave up my audiophile habit years ago. That is a rabbit-hole you can spend your life, and your life-savings, running down always looking for the one that takes the dial to 11. My wife came home to me sitting in my chair with my eyes closed, a smile on my face, and what to her sounded like a live concert (it was Springsteen's Live 75-85 set).
My wife loves music too but hadn't cared much about sound quality before. She asked if we could stream some HD versions of artists she loves (Indigo Girls, Paul Simon, P!nk), and so I fired up some of her favorites and she was blown away. She knew that the Denon 350s are a stand-alone speaker that just so happen to be able to be paired together (whether as a L/R channel pair, or as a whole home system), and she asked if she could have one in her home office. Despite the COVID pandemic seemingly coming to a close soon, she does not see her work from home days changing that much from now (which is about half of the time). As I said before, my wife has never been all that amped up about the sound quality of her music but this was a first and I would not deny her the joy of awesome sounding music now that she has come to appreciate good sound. So I broke up the pair, set one up in her office and one in a nice spot in the living room and we are both now happy. While the L/R pair sounds phenomenal, really this is one of the few single speaker systems (at least that I have heard) that gets enough separation in the channels on its own to give a great stereo picture.
Notes:
1. To get the most out of this system you should either be subscribed to a streaming service that supports high res files. The app makes it easy to figure out which ones you may want to try by having some of the most popular streaming services available from within the HEOS app ready for your login credentials. I'll let you decide on which depending on your budget, musical tastes, and such. You can do everything through the app and never touch an 'outside' app like Music or the streaming apps, and in fact, once you get things set up you can have your favorites linked to pre-select buttons that you can just press and go straight to a streaming channel without even needing your phone since it links up to your home wi-fi and streams directly.
2. Be sure to use the app to tell the speaker how it is set up in the room so that it can best adjust the output to maximize bass response, it really does make a difference if it knows that it's backed into a corner or directly facing a wall.
Likes:
1. Easy to set up. Whether you are doing a concert hall set up in one room or doing a whole house set up it is simple to use the app to make it happen. It's fun to have multiple speakers set up and you can 'pinch' the two together on the screen to have them play the same thing throughout the house, and 'split' them to go back to individual playlists/channels. I have had fun overriding her speaker in her office with the opening of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song!
2. You can configure the Home Screen on your app to only show the streaming services and sources you use and not have to scroll through all of the available ones.
3. Obviously, the sound quality.
No Like:
There have been a few hiccups with streaming from our own music libraries on our phones.
1. Have had playlists play a few seconds of a song and then move to the next is quick succession so it sounds like turning the dial on an old analog tuner.
2. The app plays playlists from your library on its own and is not using your music app to do so. While this is great for doing everything from one app and getting the most out of your music, if you like continuing your playlist when you move from office to car, you will not be in the same place. Not a deal breaker, just a bit annoying. More for my wife since she listens to her playlists in her office, in her car, and in the bathroom when she is getting ready in the morning. Bathroom and car are on the Music app while office is on HEOS.
3. My wife has seen serious battery drain issues if she doesn't shut down the app completely when in the house but not in her office. Her battery app shows HEOS gobbling up much of that and I'm sure it is because the link is active even if she is not actively listening to music in her office.
Final Thoughts: I know this is a lot of money for a speaker (even more for the set), but if you truly appreciate beautiful sounding music, and want it to absolutely fill your home, you can not go wrong with the Denon 350s. I'm in absolute heaven.

I purchased this speaker to compliment an existing sound system because of the marketed features. Thus far the Dennon Home 350 delivers excellent sound and a seamless audio experience as marketed. Although Bluetooth connection was my main goal, The ability to integrate and connect other devices via network and aux ports has been an added plus. All marketed capabilities work well and are very easy to connect with the Dennon home speaker system. Wishing I had a second speaker to turn this system into a stereo setup for the home theater. The supporting HEOS application for iOS and Android has been easy to set up, use and connect with after it ran multiple updates on the speaker and application itself. I have encountered no freezes after the sequence of updates that were pushed to my system. Outstanding sound that is equal to my existing sound bars. Very easy setup but I did read and verify what I was supposed to be doing with the online/downloaded manual. Easy integration with existing audio and home theater equipment. The only mentionable con would be, that I have noticed a very slight lag between video & audio when I was testing the speaker with my Bluetooth enabled TV’s. Perhaps future Dennon updates will fix.
