I picked this up as a b-day gift for my 9-yo. He's a big fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and when the trailer played before Captain Underpants it seemed like a good idea. Turns out I was more right than I knew, all of my kids had a blast with this and were rolling the whole time. He was even able to pick out what was/changed or added from the books. If you have a fan of the books or just some little people that enjoy a good laugh go ahead and grab this, it's solid family fun.

No better or worse than the rest, I enjoy films like Clock in the Walls much more.

The original is much better. I couldn’t connect with these characters.

Who doesn’t love a good movie full of life lessons!!? Our kids love the wimpy kid books and this was a good wholesome movie that we let them watch on a recent road trip. The kids continue to watch this over and over...to the point where I’ve memorized parts!! It’s a good movie to entertain people of all ages.

We went to see this movie in theaters with a big group of boys for my son's 10th birthday party - ALL the boys loved the movie and couldn't stop raving about it (though they are all DOWK fans!). I loved that it was funny but appropriate, with enough "boy humor" to keep them interested and nothing that made me squirm.

I have not watched this movie, honestly. My daughter (10) and son (9) have and they love it. They always laugh when it is running and they quote it all the time. They say it is a good movie and goes well with the series.

My kids love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and they also love all the movies that come out as well, this movie being no different. It's fun for the family and kids really connect to these stories.

The first 3 Wimpy Kids movies were better than this one was, but, it still was funny in its own way. I added this movie to my collection for the grandchildren to watch when we baby sit them.

My girls have just recently started watching this movie series and they seem to like the ones they have seen so far. Found this on sale for five dollars. Can't beat that deal!
