Excellent all-in-one smartphone stand for video calls and conferences. The stand base is weighted and sturdy, but not too heavy to carry around. I like how the height and angles for the phone holder are adjustable and that I can adjust light temperature and brightness. What’s neat is that they include a few different mounts for the LED light so you can use it without the stand as well. There’s the clip that mounts to the stand ball joint and seems to use a standard tripod thread. There’s also a smartphone clip that easily lets you mount it directly to your phone, and a hot shoe mount to use the light with a normal camera. I love the mounting flexibility of this light, because I was thinking about getting a little LED panel light for my phone and camera anyway, so this saves me some money. It’s also rechargeable with both USB-C and micro USB ports, though they only include the micro USB cable. If there’s any complaint I have, I wish the manual included something about how to detach the light from the stand clip. Maybe I missed it, but I thought it unsnapped at an angle like a GPS unit, but it wouldn’t budge. To remove the light, you have to pull up on the rear of the clip, which exposes a release tab for the light. Pull up on that tab and the light detaches. Nothing difficult, just takes a bit to figure out without instructions. I attached pics to give a better idea. Overall, I really like this kit. I generally hate video chatting, but it seems unavoidable now and this has come in real handy for Zoom meetings and interviews. The adjustability enables me to get my face at just the right angle and the light helps make sure my face stays well lit and sharp. The whole kit makes it super easy to carry around for doing selfie videos too. Good job Digipower!

    They Thought of Everything...

The Digipower - The Achiever Pro Kit is the complete deal. From my point of view, they've literally thought of everything at this price point. Upon opening the kit, I was surprised by the professional packaging & presentation. All the component are quality constructed and the assembly/use manual is thorough and nicely laid out. Assembly took mere moments to complete. All the modules with spring loaded mechanism all feel confidently strong. I appreciate that Digipower included both a micro USB and USB-C port on the light panel, as this makes the 'system' broadly compatible with what folks have in their possession in terms of charging. Brilliant. I also appreciate that fact that Digipower included a spring-loaded clip - for flexibility - thereby allowing the owner to use just the light panel in conjunction with their computers webcam - be it a on a full sized monitor or even a laptop. Again - Brilliant. Speaking of the light panel, there are three light tone (color balance) character options from a yellowish (warming) glow to a mostly pure white illumination, and a combination of the two. Each tone selection can then be adjusted to various levels of brightness depending on environment you are recording in - in 10 gradient steps. Once again... Brilliant. (no pun intended) Another flexibility of this system is you can even use it with a pocket sized, digital camera as long as the camera has a thread mount. The Digipower - The Achiever base is heavy enough and has low center-of-gravity to work with most low-cost, small pocket cameras. I tried it out with my Canon S100 and it worked great. I also tried my Logitech HD webcam and the Digipower base works so much better than the lightweight, flimsy mini-tripod I'd previously been using. One thing I did notice with this system and my Android phone, which is moderately large, with a 6.6 inch display, is that when the camera is mounted, the overall mount is prone to instability depending on the position of the rubber feet - mounted underneath the solid base. If one of the rubber feet is located directly underneath where you phone is suspended, you should be in good shape. But if the rubber feet are rotated then the base can become a tad bit wobbly. I imagine this will present a bigger problem with heavier smart phones and less of a problem for devices with a 6 inch or smaller display. I'd recommend that Digipower add more rubber feet to the circumference of the base to make it more stable regardless of orientation. Or to offer them to the customer free of charge, after the fact. Pros: Excellent price point Good build quality Flexible system Very flexible lighting system Provides both a micro USB and USB-C charging port Everything you'll need to get set up for video conferencing or production Cons: The included micro USB cable is too short and pretty much useless - but who doesn't have an extra cable hanging around? The base positioning is key to stability with heavier devices mounted, grabbed by the spring loaded armature. I can still recommend this kit. It's amazing at such a low price point. It's truly a complete solution at an affordable price. The quality of all the sub-assemblies is apparent (apart from the rubber feet thing...) and the system offers some additional, non-smart phone application flexibility.

Versatile and Portable LED Light and Phone Stand

I am very impressed with the build quality, stability, and versatility of this Digipower combination LED light and phone stand. It is very easy to configure, and is a great choice for anyone that wants to add a professional touch to their videography. What makes it especially useful to me is the portability. Ther compact size makes It is much easier to take on the go then a full size stand and the battery operated lights eliminates the need for a corded power source. As soon as I opened the package I noticed that the individual components were well manufactured. They have the feel of quality and refinement. The cast iron base is heavy enough to not be tipped over easily. I will keep the box as a storage and transportation case because each individual component has a dedicated section due to the foam insert. The unit is simple to assemble and configure. It is quite adjustable and very versatile. The height and angles can be easily adjusted due to numerous levers and the ball joint. There are numerous configurations that can be used. The stand and LED light can be used to illuminate a work area without having a phone attached, for example if you are using your laptop camera and need some extra light. A separate clip is included that allows the LED light to be clipped to a laptop, phone, or monitor if desired. The clip could also be attached to any surface that is thin enough to accommodate it (about 1 inch). I attached some photos of the clip for illustration. Finally, the LED light itself works well and is very bright. It can be set to 3 different color temperatures (3100k - 5100k) and the brightness can be adjusted from low to high in 10 percent intervals. I have been using it at the medium setting and find that to be plenty bright for most situations. At the highest setting it is hard to look at it directly because of the high brightness. An indicator on the back shows the charge level. It has 2 charging ports (micro USB and USB C), that can be used for charging. The light run time is rated at 2 hours but that likely depends on the brightness and color temperature setting. I have been using it for about 30 minutes on medium and the charge level reads as 75 percent full. A short micro USB charging cable is included.

Portable lighting & holder for meetings on the go

The digipower Expert Essential Meeting Kit is the perfect addition to my desk and my laptop bag. As a writer and video blogger, this meeting kit is ideal for my needs. Assembly The meeting kit came in a nicely padded box with a carrying handle and is sturdy enough to be reused as a carrying case. A solid metal base with three rubber desk pads provides a durable platform for the screw-in stand post. The stand post has an adjustable extension topped with a ball joint adapter. A clip-on phone holder grips the extension post and has a ball joint for positioning a smartphone. The 60 LEDs flat light panel attaches to a holder clip, which has two screw adapter ports and an attachable tension clip for attaching to a computer monitor. Features • Micro USB charging port, USB-C charging port • Four blue LED charge indicator lights • Adjustable brightness at ten different levels • Three different color temperature modes • 60 bi-color LEDs • Full recharge in 2.5 hours • 2 hours of light at 100% and 3.75 hours at 50% • Power/Mode button for power (2 seconds press) and toggling the brightness modes • Light holder is also a phone holder Use The meeting kit is easy to use and adjust. I appreciate the flexibility of the ball joint mounts for positioning my phone and the light. I don't always like to have the light directly facing me, and I can angle it up or to the side for light adjustment. The study base significantly reduces any desk vibration for smooth video recording. While the stand is handy for live meetings, I like the flexibility of being able to clip the light panel to my iPad for meetings. Depending on my environment, the adjustable color temperature is fantastic for selecting the right look and reflection. My only small complaint is that the release for the light clips is hidden below the phone release behind the light. You have to raise the phone grip to expose the release lift for the clip. I included a picture with my thumb holding up the phone release to expose the clip release. It is not mentioned in the manual and it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Summary Overall, I am happy with the digipower Expert Essential Meeting Kit, which has improved my videos and meetings.

    Content Creator Companion

--- SETUP --- Setting up the stand is easy to figure out. If you have trouble, a handy guide with pictures is included. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up, and the light comes 3/4ths precharged. It also comes with a phone clip for the LED video light for on-the-go lighting sans the stand and a shoe adapter for an off-camera flash. --- FEATURES --- Rechargeable LED video light via micro USB (cable included) or USB-C (cable not included), color temperature control, and 10 adjustable levels of brightness. --- PERFORMANCE --- The light is bright enough for doing videos in which your subject will be close to the camera. In my content creation, this happens often when I am making stories for Facebook or reviewing items for YouTube. Having the ability to change the color temperature is ideal to create different moods depending on the content. The brightest setting on the LED light is very bright and can illuminate your subjects very well. --- EXPECTATIONS --- As with any phone mount, my expectation was that I’d have to remove my phone case to fit my iPhone 12 Pro Max. In this case, I didn’t have to do that, but it was a snug fit that I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t feel comfortable doing so, but it works in my recording environment because I have carpeted floors. The light clips on to the top of the stand and stays on securely. You can rotate the light and use the ball joint to aim it as you please. I was able to take pictures of a collector item keeping it well lit. For this part, I did have to adjust the phone holder at a forced angle because the stand itself gets in the way. It would have been better if the phone holder arm could extend further with an adjustable arm. It is a much better use for stories, which I have been recording around my city recently. My prior setup included a full-sized tripod for just my phone and no lighting. Now, I can use The Achiever to achieve (no pun intended) a more well lit recording. To store it in my travel backpack, I can just unscrew the base and store it vertically along with the rest of the stand. The base itself is weighted, which helps when recording outside in case there is wind or someone accidentally hits it. This is why it matters to me that I can still use it with my phone case. Additionally, the included phone clip for the LED light was very thoughtful, as sometimes, I can’t/don’t want to take out all my equipment for a quick one-off photo or video. By clipping the LED light, I can still capture what I want with better lighting than just the phone’s light. --- VALUE --- The stand and its attachments serve multiple functions for content creators. The additional phone clip, shoe adapter, and nice add-ons make this a valuable purchase. --- APPROVAL --- If you are just getting into content creation, need a better lit setup for your Zoom meetings, or are a pro content creator who needs more options on how to record, this is the thing for you.

The Digipower Achiever Expert Essential Meeting Kit is a versatile accessory for those holding virtual meetings, webinars, creating YouTube videos or Vlogs. The kit consists of a heavy metal base, a telescoping stand that extends from 9” to 12.5” and includes a standard ¼” mount that can be used to mount the included light holder or even a webcam (not included), a 360° adjustable phone holder, a cold shoe adapter, and a LED video light. You can see a video review of this item at: https://youtu.be/ae-m2MpS5_4 The LED video light consists of 60 Bi-Color LEDs for proper lighting with a Color Rendering Index of 95 for realistic lighting. The light is adjustable for 10 brightness levels and 3 color temperature levels (3100K – 5500K). It includes a 2000mAh built-in lithium rechargeable battery and has a light clip and a cold-shoe adapter for multiple use cases. The light comes with a micro-USB cable for charging. The light unit can also be charged via USB-C. Usage Impressions This kit is very versatile and supports many use cases. The most complete use case is using the stand, the light, and the horizontal smartphone holder together with a phone to film videos. In this mode, one can capture portrait and landscape video with the light being used to provide proper lighting. The phone clip is especially useful, and its mounting clip has one side with a ring on it, allowing the light to be used with a tablet, laptop, or phone, by placing the ring around the camera lens and in turn centering the light. The stand’s telescoping ¼” mount allows this device to be used with a variety of devices including a number of webcams adding to the kit's versatility. The cold shoe and other mounts can also allow the light to be used as a secondary light in a multi-light situation. This kit is a nice addition to one’s setup and it is the mid-level product in Digipower’s “Work and Study from Home” line of items and consequently has a median price level among this line of products. A quick search of a few other sites reveals that one can find similar kits for a range of prices around it. For $59.99 MSRP, I do believe this is priced at an ok level – it would of course be better at $49.99 and would be a great deal at $39.99

DigiPower The Achiever - Video Call Pro kit. If you’re photographing desktop items, are involved in vlogging, or spend any amount of time on conference calls, you need good lighting and a very stable camera support. The Achiever from DigiPower is all of that, and they’ve done it all exceptionally well. Observations: The included instruction diagrams are helpful. Both the camera and light clamps hide their best trick. They expand by pulling apart so they fit your camera and/or the light bar. It’s a snug fit because of the continuous tension. (The clamps are so nicely built, they hide their expansion joints.) Weight and construction are solid, but certainly portable. The box is designed as a carry case (sort’a) or you could acquire a small case if the carry box is too commercial for you. Connectors and attachments manage to be flexible but very secure. DigiPower has thought of everything in this kit. It holds both the camera and the light. It provides holders which accommodate every reasonable phone or camera size. It even lets you separate the light to clip onto cameras with light shoes, or into separate 1/4” thread mounts or onto laptop screens. The various components will solve whatever problem you have. Lighting is provided in multi-level strengths via 2 buttons. Quick presses on the power button change the light color from warm to cool. SUMMARY: Like I said, The Achiever has this videos/photos via camera phone pretty well thought out. Or, clip its light to your screen if it has an embedded camera lens. This is my typical configuration, followed by the phone holder features. More to the point, The Achiever is aggravation relief. It takes away that “amateur” label you’ll earn if you’re vlogging in the shadows, or your photos are grainy and poorly lit or you have to constantly adjust your camera during a conference call. The achiever doesn’t just solve problems …. it prevents them. The result is bright images or calls and reliable control of your phone or camera. Kind'a like a 3rd hand.

Great Lighting in a Compact Size

Over the last year, I've invested in better gear for taking calls at home, and with COVID not going away any time soon, I needed to get a better lighting setup for video calls and personal vlogging. The Achiever setup has what I was looking for: - Rechargeable battery for on-to-go use cases. - LED to minimize heat production. - Small form factor. - Ability to mount onto camera. The light itself has 3 different lighting temperatures: warm, neutral, and cool. There are also buttons to adjust the brightness up or down. I've generally left it on the neutral light setting which uses both warm and cool LEDs. If you crank it up all the way, this thing gets real bright, real quick. I've been using it as a light along with my Sony ZV-1 camera. The weight of the light is negligible, so the arm that I have the camera on handles the addition without a hassle. I haven't done a full burn down of the battery, but I typically will plug it over night to charge. My only gripe with this light is the micro USB cord that comes with it. The cord is so short that I wouldn't be able to leave it mounted to recharge, but I had a longer micro USB cord that worked out better anyway. Just something to note. The stand that comes with the light is solid also and comes with a holder for a mobile phone. I've used it a few times with my iPhone, but I more prefer to use it with the ZV-1 because that camera is much better for visuals than my mobile device is. If you're a streamer, or like me, someone who's just working from home now and you need a light, this thing is a great option that doesn't break the bank.

Digipower - The Achiever - Video Call Pro kit with 60 LED Light, Stand & Smartphone Holder is a complete multi-functional LED light kit that can be used with any smartphone or even some digital cameras. The metal stand and base are very sturdy and the spring loaded clamp allows for a very steady mount for your video content creation, streaming or teleconferencing for work. The height is adjustable up to 12.5” and the phone attachment mounts on a pivoting ball, so you can get just the right angle. The main feature is the 60-LED light. Aside from using it on the stand, it can also be clipped on a laptop or monitor if you have a Webcam. The Li-Ion rechargeable battery is built-in to the back of the light panel and it will last for hours on a single charge. Speaking of charging, it has connectors for both the new standard USB-C, and the older Micro-USB so you can even use your older phone chargers. Press and hold the power button on the light panel to turn it on or off, then press it to toggle between the 3 color temperature modes. The other two buttons let you cycle through 10 brightness levels, which is more than enough for any video or picture taking scenario.

Digipower’s ‘The Achiever’ is a kit targeted to entry level vloggers, social media producers, or simply those who spend a lot of time on zoom. Just like we wear make-up or stylish clothing to the office, it makes sense we should tune our digital presence in this post-COVID world. This kit is a versatile collection of a simple battery powered light with various attachments and adapters. But like any good kit, it sums greater than the parts. Packaging is excellent and presents the kit well without much waste. The cast iron base is heavy enough, but not weighted to the extent professional stands are. It’s stable enough to hold any phone and the light panel. In the box you’ll find the stand, adjustable arm, phone holder/mount, the light panel, a clip mount for the light and a cold shoe mount. The light itself charges either via USB-C or Micro-USB. I love the fact that they added the second connector, as it doesn’t really take up much space on an otherwise blank device, and offers a lot of charging flexibility no matter what the situation. That said, the lights seem to last a long time, having used them for several hours at this point and having the 4 LED battery meter found on the back show me >50% is a good sign. There are 3 buttons on the device - the largest near the top is the on/off/pattern switch. Holding it for 3 seconds powers on/off the device, and subsequent clicks change the pattern/temperature from cool/warm/neutral. The other two buttons are brightness control, changing up or down between 10 levels. Overall, this is a very flexible setup for the light (which includes 60 total LEDs, 30 of which are active for each temperature and all on for the maximum lighting that is a good blend of warm and cool). The stand has a phone holder, and the holder for the light. These both are quick releases allowing for you to switch usage rather quickly. The only criticism here is that the phone holder just barely fits a iPhone 12 Pro Max, which isn’t the largest of phones for sure. The clips are all very secure and easy to use and built well. The stand itself uses 1/ 4” mounts and the light adapter has female screws on both top and bottom which make it super flexible. For instance, I was able to sandwich my Sony D6000 on the stand with the light mounted on top using the cold shoe. This allows me to use this light as free standing for meetings with my webcam, use my phone for other meetings or quick videos, or break out the mirror less if I want high quality video. I love this feature, and this turned this kit from a nice to a wow how did I live without it. Overall this kit is a great starter for basic lighting. The improvements you’ll see are on par with any cheap ring light, but this kit has so much flexibility that you’ll use it a lot more than just a simple ring light. The combo of standard quarter inch mounts, cold shoe, flexible stand and adjustments all around make this a killer product at its price point. Highly recommended.

The Digipower - The Achiever - Video Call Pro kit with 60 LED Light, Stand & Smartphone Holder is a must have for teleworkers, vbloggers or anyone who wants to produce well lit video. The unit has many capabilities such a smartphone holder which rotates and attaches to a telescoping stand which adjusts from 9 to 12.5 inches in height. The stand is steady and can also mount the 60 LED light panel which has a 2000mAh built-in rechargeable battery which will yield about two hours of light, probably a bit more it you use a mode which lights only a portion of the LEDs. The light temperature is adjustable with warm to bright white or a combination of both. The light mounts two ways, to the tower/stand or using a supplied clip which can clip to your laptop with a circular clip over your laptops built in camera lens. It can also attach to camera via a camera shoe adapter. In any case I found this device per useful for teleworking using Zoom, Teams, WebEx or any other video conferencing solution. Would recommend for anyone that creates content or participants in virtual meetings. Pros: - Multiple mounting options/use cases - 60 LED light panel with different modes, warm/cool lighting or a combination both and ability a few brightness modes. - Rechargeable battery - Sturdy stand Cons: - None so far

The title really says it all! The base is very stable, enough so to hold my mirrorless camera without worry. The whole setup is incredibly versatile and can be adapted to work with all sorts of video creation, streaming, and video calling setups! I was able to easily mount my camera to the stand with the light attached to the hot shoe (the light has a cold shoe mount, no power is transferred through the hot shoe) and was able to hold the entire setup securely. The light is amazing, the rest of this content creation kit is really just given to you. The light alone is worth the price! The battery lasts a long time, can charge through EITHER micro-USB OR USB-C! The buttons are intuitive and the modes are easy to cycle through, they even remain at the same level you last used each on at! The various phone mounting attachments are great for video calls and creating videos with your phone's cameras. I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone who is video calling and/or wants to dive into content creation! This kit is an incredible deal and includes everything you need to get started with content creation, except the camera/phone!

This is a great tool for anyone currently working from home or posting video to social media. It is very easy to set up and the stand and is very strong and sturdy. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max which can be pretty heavy with a case on it and the stand held it upright perfectly. No wobble or tilting. It comes apart easily for stowing and can be put back together just as quick. The light rig has 60 LED’s and the brightness can be adjusted to your liking. You can also change the color temperature of the lights, which I thought was pretty cool. You can choose a standard white LED color or a “warm” yellowish daytime color balance. Or a combination of both. The lights did not hurt my eyes when looking into the phone for extended periods. The best part is that you pivot the lights to any direction you’d like to bounce the light so your not blinding yourself. Lighting really is everything. This set up will give your vlogs, live streams, meetings and videos a nice look, especially if you film indoors often.

This is a lightweight setup with tons of great angle options for recording grab-and-go footage. The light is detachable and can be put/angled pretty much any which way you'd need it to go. The phone attachment is made to be expandable and lockable in multiple different angles. The stand and weight are perfect if you're at a table/desk/etc, and there's even a flat-foot mount for DSLRs and the stand is heavy enough that it can safely hold the entire setup. So you could get a primary angle, secondary angle, and light your shoot all with the same stand that takes up less than 2 sqft. The light itself has good battery life and good throw and coverage for something the size of a smartphone. The three options for light temperature (cool, warm, mix) are paired with variations in brightness level, so you can quickly dial in your lighting setup. All in all: if you're getting started or need to upgrade your space from bare-bones basics, this is a great toolkit. The only other thing you might need is a lav mic.

I was surprised that this kit is really well put together. The base is very heavy weighted so that there's no tipping or falling over even if you used something heavier to shoot with. Everything is simple to put together by following the instructions. The base base has a telescopic post that comes up then with the attachment piece which has a steel ball pivot you can angle the provided led panel or whatever you attach to the top however you like. The base has rubberized padding. As do the phone holders and other attachment.. The LED panel has three light settings, a bright white, a warm white and then a mixture of both. It also has the ability to brighten or dim. The only thing I felt it missed out on was having it charge by USB-C but other than that this setup is perfect for taking pictures of small objects for photography purposes or the streaming and selphie route I'd recommend it to others!

Difficult to assemble. Lighting not great. Instructions difficult to follow. Had another brand that was similar but broken. That one was VERY easy to assemble and had great lighting.

The quality of the product is so good and the brightness control is a awesome feature with multiple shades.
