I have two cats and this vacuum just doesn't do it for animal hair and litter tracked onto the floor by little paws. It might not be so bad for a none pet owner, but I am not satisfied with the quality at all.

This vaccumm kept leaving dirt marks on the rug that took a few times going over it to finish.

It's efficient in picking up hair from carpet but is not as good on hard wood floor. This machine has good suction power. It is easy to change the vacuum bags afterwards.

The Shark Navigator Pro that I loved so much had way too much suction. It was really hard to push with this carpet. I ordered a vacuum recommended by the carpet manufacturer, a Eureka. Still too much suction and impossible to push. Finally I took a piece of my carpet to a big bucks vacuum store. Even the $600 vacuums were still too low, and hard to push. On a whim I called Best Buy to see if they had vacuums to try. This was the only bagged one. It worked! It was light and didn't pull my carpet up. So far I love it. I did just get it today. If it breaks I am not too concerned. I just hope it works well.
