    I have hardwood floors and have a Pomeranian that sheds a lot and the hair is visible. This vacuum has been a true lifesaver. Never had a problem with it not picking up dirt a pet hair. Although, I did have to run it over the same spots a couple of times on my area rug. Only bad thing about the vacuum is the plastic handle. The handle broke off.

    I had an older version of this vacuum that I loved. When it finally went out on my, I bought this one but was not impressed. It had very poor suction. I have 4 kids and a dog, and it didn't pick up their crumbs or hair on our wood floor like the old one.
