Everything about this camera is great. If you want to know all of the specs there are a lot of good videos out there. Ill just give some of my viewpoints as someone who takes pictures and videos for fun. Good solid metal camera that is pint sized and can fit almost anywhere. The size, the different shooting options, the fact that you can pair it with the bottom battery to extend shooting times and it also allows for an external sd card for continuous shooting as well. Theyinclude a bunch of different mounting options and the magnetic clips feel very secure. Now some cons. It gets extremely hot when shooting longer videos. The main camera is waterproof but the bottom battery and sd card are not so you have to remember to take it off before going in the water. Didnt come with a case and i had to purchase tempured screen protection for the lenses and screens. Also you cant charge just the top part of the camera. You have to charge it trhough the bottom battery. For me the pros outweigh the cons and for the sheer size and what it can do, ill be keeping the camera.

    Unrivaled Performance for the Size

Great camera for FPV. Coming from the Runcam 5 Orange and Hero 8, I can say this little camera is a game changer. The only gripe I have is with the limited space it has internally and with the overall run time when trying to capture 4K. I get about 30 mins of use at 4K60 before it either fills up or dies. The magnetic screen attachment provides about 2 recharges for the camera which makes it usable enough for me. Recharging only takes 30 or so minutes and this can be easily solved by connecting the camera to a power bank. Check out sample raw video from the camera using the link below. https://youtu.be/QiHZOQ8pds0

This is a great little action cam. I bought one and when I showed it to my wife, she wanted one, too! So I bought her one. We took both of them on vacation and got excellent action videos.

    Mixed Emotions

I have mixed emotions with the Action 2. I want to like it but it keeps falling over itself. I'll start with my biggest gripe. They want you to use the camera by itself. If they didn't then why make it standalone, with memory built-in. It is extremely small and light. Also it's completely waterproof when it is just the camera AND it also has a screen. It all sounds too good. Depending on the situation, it is good. Very good. That's where I start to have my issue with it. It is an action camera. Action means riding a bike, skateboarding, skiing, etc. I attached the Action 2 to my chest mount and went for a ride. The built-in memory is good for about 25 minutes of footage. That lasted me about 40 minutes of real-time riding. Then the memory and pretty much the battery was exhausted. Sure I can tack on the power module or front screen module. I can copy the footage off the camera onto an SD card. To do that though, I'm not riding any longer. I'm now changing my behavior due to my device. Now I can also simply attach the front screen or power module to the camera and ride. Then I have tons of memory and about 1 1/2 hours of battery life. When I use it like that, I've lost one of its major features, its size. I've attached a picture to show the difference in its orientation vs. my other action camera. Again, mixed emotions. Let's go through what I do like about the Action 2. It's small and light. You can wear the lanyard, attach it to your torso and get some really cool 1st person footage. You can't even tell you are wearing it, it's so light. The voice control works very nice and the commands are very simple. When doing action sports, being hands-free is a big plus. The footage is nice. Good color. I did have to set the EV to -0.3. When doing vlogging of myself, the sun blew out my face in several spots. Kicking down the EV just a touch helped a lot. The ability to do 4k @ 120fps is awesome. If you aren't into video editing, the Slow Motion mode is very cool. It will record in 4k also and do the slow-motion rendering for you automatically. Using a button while recording you can toggle between normal speed and slow motion for some really cool effects. Photos come out nice as well. I use another product that allows me to use my action camera with magnetic mounts. The Action 2 stepped it up a notch though with its locking mechanism. I have had my other camera jar loose from the magnetic mount and that is never fun. With the locking mechanism, I don't see that occurring. The Ultra Wide angle is very wide. Things get distorted around the edges a bit but for doing MTB videos, its exactly what you want so you can the handlebars shaking all over with the road ahead. I found the RockSteady stabilization to work well as long as there is enough light. The sound is good too. It was almost like I was wearing a microphone. I could keep listing more items. The point is, the camera and system are good in the right scenarios. Then there are the things I didn't like. Overheating. I've had it shut down twice due to overheating. DJI explains in their manual or literature, paraphrasing, "it's a small device in aluminum and it will get hot". Yep, sure does. It probably takes either about 20 minutes of mostly shooting to get it to occur, or constantly using it for a couple of hours, shooting, uploading videos, going back out, and shooting. The good news is, it does cool pretty rapidly. It's just something that I've never seen to this level in an action camera. Next up is the Mimo app. It doesn't work for me. After checking with DJI, my $700 Motorola phone that I bought last month, that has been out for only 2 months, and runs Android 11, just can't cut it. That was disappointing. I've already discussed the insufficient battery life/memory when just using the camera. It's an action camera and when you go and do action sports, chances are pretty good that you aren't just doing them for 15-30 minutes. You are out for 1, 2, 4, 8 hours. Therefore, you really need to use the camera with the power module. In that configuration, it is still smaller than the competition but not by too much. The HorizonSteady is awesome. Absolutely brilliant. The problem is, you have to be in 2.7k mode and it super zoomed in. Probably half as wide as the ultra wide mode. I don't know what kind of activity I'd be doing to warrant that narrow FOV and most importantly, the reduction in resolution. I shoot exclusively in 4k now. One final biggie is the camera glass. It's huge...and completely unprotected. I do not engage in radical sports. I ride a street and mountain bike and I'm not that daring. In the last 4 years, I've had to replace two screens on my action camera. Once due to a fall, once due to the 3rd party magnetic mount failing. $20 later I was up and running again because I could buy a new lens glass. The Action 2 will require that you send it in to DJI. You better take the DJI Care refresh insurance. Just one fall and it will be worth it. In conclusion, the camera definitely has a place in my arsenal for some situations. I will need to see if this works in my mountain biking activities. I definitely need the power module attached. It's really nice to easily pull the camera off my chest and do some vlogging. The big, unprotected, non-user-replaceable lens glass is scary.

I have multiple pieces of video equipment and some of them (like my GoPro9) can get hot when recording in 4K. The Dji action 2 camera can get hot, but for what it can do, in such a small factor, is unbelievable. The ultra Wide angle option you can activate is SO good and video quality is good and crisp in my recordings in 4K. But the draw back is the heat once its been on for a while and when it charges. Im sure a software update can fix this later on. But the accessories are all great, especially the magnetic lanyard. This is meant for quick action recording without setting up a lot of stuff. Grab and go. Im enjoying it a lot.

Love the Concept, Mixed on the Execution

DJI is an industry leader in photo and video hardware, especially if you’re looking to capture beautiful views from the air. I have personally owned multiple DJI drones and they cannot be beat in terms of their quality. The Action 2 joins DJI’s lineup of consumer products tailored to capture stabilized video. It follows in the footsteps of the Osmo Pocket and Osmo Action. I absolutely love the concept of this little device, but its execution leaves me feeling mixed. The Good Right out of the box, the Action 2 feels nice to hold. It may be small, but it feels solid with a metal and glass exterior. This small size gives it some serious portability. It can be taken just about anywhere easily given its small footprint. Toss it in your pocket, purse, fanny pack, or easily slip it into a pouch in your backpack. It is also quite versatile given it’s magnetic locking design. A quick pinch and pull allows you to remove one adapter and attach another. DJI includes a magnetic lanyard, magnetic ball joint adapter mount, and magnetic adapter mount with the dual screen combo. This gives you the ability to attach the Action 2 to most existing branded and third party accessories. It also gives you the ability to shoot in FPV right out of the box. Despite its size, it is quite powerful. It’s dustproof and waterproof down to 10 meters without a case (and while not attached to the touch screen or power module), has some serious stabilization and horizon leveling software (HorizonSteady), and can shoot up to 4K 120FPS with a 155° FOV. DJI claims up to 160 minutes of recording time when the Action 2 is connected to the front touch screen module. The OLED touch screens are absolutely stunning and made with Gorilla Glass for durability. The screens are very responsive, which is lovely compared to some of the competition. I personally have had good luck with the Mimo App at this point on my iPhone. The camera connects easily and quickly via WiFi, which allows me to control it remotely, get updates, and download photos and videos for editing and sharing. I like the AI Editor which automatically generates short videos or picture compilations that can be shared to Facebook, Instagram, other social media platforms, or directly with friends via text. The Not So Good Unfortunately, I have quite a few qualms with the Action 2. The first is that it launched without the ability to purchase accessories. They exist, but you cannot get them from DJI currently. The magnetic locking design of the Action 2 is great, but it would be nice to utilize it to its full potential. I personally want to get a hold of the remote control extension rod, magnetic headband, and floating handle. I might even go for the waterproof case. Speaking of, this is required if you want to keep the Action 2 connected to the touch screen or power module while doing anything that puts the device at risk of getting wet, seeing as neither module is waterproof. A big bummer considering how much more shooting time you get with the module attached. While the camera has 22.4 gb of internal storage, you can only expand the storage with one of the modules being connected as that is where you will find the micro SD slot. The modules also charge the camera and there doesn’t appear to be a way to charge only the camera. Batteries are also built in and cannot be swapped out easily. I don’t really like how much dependency has been placed on the attachable modules. I feel the camera should have the ability to stand on its own. While build quality is good and I absolutely love how crisp and responsive the OLED displays are, I do question how they will hold up when put to the test. There is no lip protecting the lens or screen. One good drop on a rocky beach could spell disaster. Not to mention the lens is not detachable like other brands, so the entire camera would need to be sent back to DJI for repair or replacement. The waterproof case would likely mitigate this fear and DJI care refresh can also be purchased, but that’s obviously an added expense to an already costly device. I do think pricing is a bit high compared to some other DJI cameras (like the first DJI Action) and competition. One major issue you’ve probably seen from YouTube videos or other reviews is how hot the camera gets when recording. This is definitely an issue, especially if you’re going for 4K 120 video. The latest firmware update does address this. V01.01.0510 does include an update for “optimized power consumption to reduce overheating.” TBD on how much this actually helps. I do trust that DJI will continue to update the Action 2 until it reaches near perfection. I just wish they would have done a little more R&D to catch such a major problem before the camera was released. Overall Thoughts Despite my issues with the Action 2, I do still think it’s a cool camera. It’s portability and power make it easy to take with you anywhere and capture really stunning video. Because of its form factor, I’ll personally be using it mostly for FPV footage while riding my motorcycle, moped, or electric scooter. At least until additional accessories become available, I’ll save my other action camera for more intense activities like jet skiing, tubing, skiing, etc. And that’s really where this camera fits. If you have a specific use for it, grab one. If competing action cameras suit your needs better, grab one of those instead. If you want to pair this with the best aerial videos/ photos out there, then definitely buy DJI.

This is my favorite small camera right now. I was worried that the battery life would be terrible but I was surprised how good the battery life is and it charges really fast much faster than any other camera that I have owned. When you detach the front facing screen this camera is tiny. It's already small but without the screen it goes from small to tiny.

Not an extreme sports guy, but I have several action cams from S**y and G*P**. There is no denying that given the tiny size of the camera and amount of battery in just the DJI Action Camera 2 module. This is an amazing piece of photography kit when connected to the second screen with battery. Rocksteady stabilizer for running or bumpy conditions works very well. HorizonSteady is pure magic. I use a gimbal with a few of my cameras and HorizonSteady is nearly as steady as my 3 axis gimbal. And if you have used any DJI fly drone apps you will quickly understand how to use DJI Mimo app to see and control settings on this cam (my preferred method of interaction with cam). I know it's very early in the Action Cam 2's life as a new product. But this is DJI and those of us who fly their drones know. There will be updates, and even more updates. I have played with it for a few days on my E-BIKE and even a quick trip in my kayak. It never hiccuped, quit or stopped recording. The magnets made it super easy to connect it to your chest or any action cam connector you already have. And you're not relying on magnets alone(except chest mount), there are latches on each side of the cam to help lock the camera modules to each other and the connectors. While no new tech product is without a few issues to be ironed out. Action Cam 2 might have a heat issue. It can get warm at 1080p and at 2.7K. Full 4K/120 at highest settings is very warm and possibly hot, but fall temps in Ohio may have helped me. I used 4K/30 most, and for well over 10min at a time with no warnings, but case was very warm. Hopefully they get the heat issue under control before summer. Also, learning a new app and on-screen touches for such a small screen does have its moments. Just know everything you NEED is here for most vlogging, sports and shallow water activities. And there are built in tutorials to help when you need it. I think this is easily on par and out performs many functions of the current competition for price and performance. The other guys cams also get hot with long recording sessions at higher settings. Once DJI tweaks the heat issue. I see this being the way to go in combination with your DJI drone to cover the action lifestyle you live even if it's a bit tame and less extreme.

Do you want an easy to use, high quality and well built camera? Then this is the one to get. This dual screen combo allows for multi function use of the camera, and getting started out of the box is quite easy. Whats included? Camera, second screen (which acts as a second battery pack), necklace holder, sticky mount and a traditional mount. These accessories out of the box allow you do some easy shooting out of the box Setup: Setup is fairly easy. There is a quick start guide with pictures that guide you through the setup. There is a QR code to help download the app that will help guide you through all the setup you need. Setup using the little screens takes a little getting used to, but you can do it. I preferred to set it up with the phone app, but you don't have to. The small OLED screens are beautiful, with nice blacks and they don't wash out in bright light. They are touch screen and pretty intuitive to use. Use: The camera boasts a new magnetic modular system, and the magnets are actually very strong. The magnets combine with small little clips, and the two units snap together, along with snapping onto whatever type of mount you want to use. The mounts are amazing, they are easy to use, and you don't fiddle with screwing the camera onto or off of mounts, it just magically clamps on. Features: One of the things, besides the magnet mount, that DJI touts is the Rock Steady stabilizing that is built in. And let me tell you, it works well. You get almost a full 180 degrees of tilt and it will keep the horizon level. Although, this only works at LESS than 4k resolution. You cannot use the full Rock Steady at 4k, but you can at 2.7k or 1080p. It works very well if you are on a boat or something that has a rocky horizon that you want to keep steady, so it might be worth it to use. One con though, is it is roughly limited to 6 or so minutes of video shooting before it overheats and has to cool down. This can be a problem if you are trying to shoot longer videos. So keep this in mind when purchasing So, what Is the use of the dual screen? Selfies. If you are a vlogger who needs to see themselves in frame, or you take a lot of selfie videos, then get this. Otherwise, maybe just stick with the battery pack and save a little cash. App use: If you want to remote control the camera with your phone, this is where the app comes in. If you've used any DJI products before, you'll feel right at home. It uses the DJI Mimo app, so if you have an Osmo, its the same one. It does, however, have to connect via wifi to the camera, so there are a couple steps to take in joining the cameras wifi. It all works well, and does it on its own, but it takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute, so It is not instant to get connected. Once its connected though, it works well. It has a live viewfinder with almost no delay, and you can adjust all the settings and start/stop video or take photos. There are the many modes you can choose from, including Timelapse, slow-motion and the DJI AI video editor. I don't use the video editor much, as I use software on my computer to edit the video myself. But the AI editor is handy to use if you want some fast made high quality looking "trailer" type videos. You, however, do NOT need to use the app to change between functions, it is just there if you want it. Waterproof: Yes, the camera is waterproof up to 10 feet, so don't worry about using at the pool or while snorkeling. The second screen battery module is NOT waterproof though, so you will need to buy the waterproof case if you want to use the second screen at the same time, or if you want to go deeper than 10 feet. Overall: This camera works very well, the screen is a bit small, but is useful. The main con is the limited recording length due to overheating, so keep that in mind when purchasing this to see if it works for you or not.

=== Summary === The DJI Action 2 is a pretty compelling alternative to the GoPro Hero series of action cams with some unique features that make it stand out, such as the easy-to-use magnetic attachment system, 4K recording at 120FPS, and its compact and lightweight form-factor. The magnet system saves me a lot of time because I don't have to deal with screws and clamps every time I mount or move the camera from my chest strap to my bike helmet. The 120FPS 4K footage looks velvety smooth and is an eye candy. Not all is perfect, however, such as the frequent overheating I've experienced as well as the annoying number of disconnections between the Action 2 and my smartphone. At $519.99 (as of 2021-11-13), I wouldn't say the value is that good, despite the number of accessories it comes with. I think it'll be a better deal once DJI fixes the frequent overheating issues and the device goes on sale or comes down to the $350 to $400 mark. I'll continue to use the Action 2 but it won't completely replace my still-competent GoPro Hero 8 Black. _____ *Pros: -Lightweight and compact form-factor. -The magnetic attachment system is rock-solid and super convenient for quick mounting. -Love not having to use clamps and screw-on bolts. -High-quality built materials and solid build quality. -Bright, crisp, & responsive OLED screen. -Good video stabilization during both daytime and nighttime rides. -4K@120FPS is buttery smooth plus 1080P at 240FPS and 2.7K at 120FPS. -155-degree super-wide-angle is awesome. -Great audio recording quality. -Has nice features such as Livestream, Slowmotion, Timelapse, and Hyperlapse. -Water-resistant main unit. -Comes included with many useful accessories. _____ *Neutral: -The main module comes with 32GB of internal storage & only ~21GB is usable. -Doesn't come with a protective pouch or carrying case. _____ *Cons: -4K recording at 120FPS overheats the device frequently. -Unstable connection between the camera and smartphone. -Relatively high price. === Design & Build Quality === This is my first DJI action camera and I was impressed by its impeccable build quality, lovely in-hand feel, and the precision snapping together of the magnetic attachments. I also own a Rylo 360 action cam and a GoPro Hero 8 Black, and the Action 2 takes the cake when it comes to industrial design, user-friendliness, and the sleek and perfectly executed implementation of the magnetic attachment system. My two most frequently used attachments are the adapter mount that fits all of my GoPro accessories and the magnetic lanyard that allows you to wear the Action 2 on your clothes. The camera mates perfectly to my GoPro Chesty mount and bike helmet mount. And I love not having to unscrew and screw in the mounting bolt every time I'm moving the camera around - it's a BIG time-saver and just so convenient. === Out of the Box Setup Experience and the DJI Mimo app === Out of the box, I initially experienced some frustration as all the on-screen menu was in Chinese. And to my unpleasant surprise, the 4K 120FPS option wasn't available to select. I tried tapping on different characters but couldn't figure out how to change the language setting to English. I already had the DJI Mimo app installed on my Samsung Galaxy S20+ because I use the DJI OM gimbal with it but it didn't recognize the Action 2. So I uninstalled the Mimo app and installed the latest version directly from DJI which finally detected the Action 2. After performing a firmware update, which went by quickly, my onscreen menu turned to English and the 4K 120FPS became selectable. To get the most out of the camera, you have to use the DJI Mimo app as many options are left out from the on-camera settings menu. Fortunately, the Mimo app is intuitive to use and snappy in performance. The only issue with the Mimo is the frequent disconnections to my smartphone when I'm recording something and my phone is displaying the live footage. Hopefully, DJI will iron out the kinks and steadily improve it. === Performance === I like to record my bike rides and occasional trips to amusement parks with the family. For that purpose, the Action 2 performed excellently. Its RockSteady stabilization looked just as good as my GoPro Hero 8, and the Action 2's 4K recording at 120FPS was velvety smooth and crisp. The audio recording was excellent as well, filtering out much wind noise and keeping audio artifacts at bay. I was really impressed by its nighttime fidelity when compared against the GoPro Hero 8. There are way fewer artifacts and graininess and the Action 2 did a better job minimizing light glares. The usual extras are all there as well, such as Hyperlapse, Timelapse, slow motion, and Livestream. For me, hyperlapse and slow motion are the options I use the most that save me video editing time and offer convenience. The only issue I experienced with the Action 2 when recording was its overheating tendency which forcibly stops any recording until the unit is sufficiently cooled down. This is a major bummer because I live in southern California where the weather is mostly sunny all throughout the year. I know I can work around this issue by recording in 4K@60FPS or 1080P@120FPS but why should I have to in a $520 device? Hopefully, DJI will continue to release firmware updates and get it fixed sooner or later. Whereas before I would only consider getting a GoPro Hero, the DJI Action 2 has opened up my mind to other possibilities. Once DJI fixes the overheating issue, it will be easier for me to recommend. === Is it a good buy? === Right now, I don't think so. For me to wholeheartedly recommend the Action 2 to friends and family, DJI would first have to fix the frequent overheating issue as well as improve the stability of the connection to my smartphone. As well, the Power Module is too expensive at $75.00 apiece for those who want to carry around extra battery modules. As it is, I rate it 4 stars.

Like the form factor but it doesn’t work with my iPhone 12. Mimo app will not let me download the videos I’ve recorded. Haven’t found any videos on this issue and no fix but a lot of complaints. Will be taking it back.

I already own a GoPro and even though I like it, the size prevents me from wearing it on my chest. This camera is small enough, and since it includes added attachments via magnets, I was curious if I could wear this while running. The setup was pretty easy since there is a QR code on the screen that you can scan with your phone, taking you to the required app. I did notice the instructions on the unit’s screen was in a foreign language, but it didn’t matter since I followed the setup after watching the given videos. I was surprised by how many features it had for being such a small unit. I am an amateur user and most of the features worked well. However, I was not impressed with the picture quality under low light conditions. In addition, the camera seems to get pretty warm, but it did not seem to affect the quality of video, and I did not notice the warmth from the camera. One last criticism is that when I was wearing it outside in windy weather, the noise cancellation was not very effective. There are many different ways to edit content on the app, which I believe is on par with the competition. I was surprised there was no way to replace the battery. You can add a power module, but they are a little pricey at $75. Pros Multiple uses with detachable camera from battery/screen Magnetic hold is strong Can add an external microphone if needed Cons Grainy at low light Noise cancellation not that great No way of changing out battery Overall, I would recommend this camera as a contender for a wearable device. It is lightweight and versatile and has great picture, all in a small bundle.

Bought this to use on my drones and works great! When compared to the session 5 this is definitely an upgrade worth having for FPV.

    Love the magnetic lanyard

    ## Design The DJI Action 2 camera system has a modular design comprised of “blocks”. The main block is about 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 inch and is the “brains” of the DJI Action 2 camera itself. This block contains the camera lens on the front and a small 2-inch display on the back. The blocks contain magnets that allow you to easily attach different accessories. At launch, there are two different kits you can purchase: - The Power Combo contains an add-on power bank as the 2nd block and adds about 66 minutes of recording time, as well as a USB-C port and a Micro SD card slot. - The Dual-Screen Combo that I’m reviewing, which includes a 2nd block with a built-in display, power bank (although only adding about 49 of recording time), USB-C port, Micro SD card slot, and additional microphones. There’s also an interesting magnetic lanyard included that you can wear under your shirt and attach the DJI Action 2 magnetically through your shirt. This makes it great for recording your hikes, bike rides, etc without needing to strap on a chest harness. It also makes it quick and easy to detach and reattach the camera as needed. ## Performance Both pictures and videos recorded with this camera are impressive, especially considering the DJI Action 2 is so small! Photos can be captured with a resolution of up to 12MP and exported in JPG or RAW format. Videos can be recorded up to 4K at 120FPS. Both video and picture quality is great: even when shooting directly into the sun, the camera still captures a good amount of detail in the shadows for a well-balanced photo. DJI has two modes of video stabilization. The “Rocksteady” mode does a surprisingly good job of smoothing out videos while walking around, almost as if I was using a gimbal. The second stabilization mode is “Horizonsteady” which keeps the horizon level in the distance regardless of how you rotate the camera while shooting. I found this useful when I wanted to move the camera down to ground level and back up as I could rotate the camera around without it showing on the video recording. There is a button on the main block and the accessory block. You can turn the camera on and off with a long press of either button and snap pictures or start/stop recording with a quick press of either button. Using the small 2-inch display takes some getting used to, especially if you have big fingers. You can swipe left-to-right to view your pictures, and swipe right-to-left to view picture settings. Swiping from the middle of the screen to the left or right changes between the different modes, such as photo, video, slow motion, etc. The DJI Action 2 only has 32GB of internal storage, with only about 22GB available out of the box. You’ll likely want to take advantage of the MicroSD card slot on either the power bank or dual-screen block. The DJI Action 2 also features a “webcam” mode when connected to a computer, so you can use it for video calls when you’re not out on an adventure. ## Battery Life The DJI Action 2 camera can last about 30 minutes by itself. The Power Combo block adds about 66 minutes while the Dual-Screen Combo block adds about 49 minutes. ## Summary The DJI Action 2 takes great 4K videos and 12MP pictures in a tiny 1.5 x 1.5 x 1” design. Optional accessories connect magnetically and can either be used to extend battery life or add a second display. The magnetic lanyard is a genius feature for quickly attaching the camera to your chest. Limited built-in storage and battery life make this more ideal for short clips rather than long recordings.

    Engineer failure

As a DJI Air 2S owner, I love and trust DJI. That's basically why I pre-order this product after it was announced. This product however, is a total engineering failure. I took it for a trip to Big Island Hawaii. It overheated at 4k 60FPS, cropped 4k 60/30FPS, 2.7K 60FPS and any resolution/FPS while charging. It's basically unfunctional half of the time. Its power-drawing priority is extremely poorly designed. Constantly not able to recognize SD card and tell me not enough internal storage even after I switch storage location to SD card. DJI should recall this product altogether and release an official apology. I'm extremely disappointed for this entirely failed action camera.

      Dear customer,

Sorry for any inconvenience. DJI Action 2 is designed to be compact and highly integrated. Therefore, when recording a high bitrate video for a long time, the camera unit emits much heat. If the device prompts “Device overheated. Unable to record.”, we recommend that you go through the steps below to extend your shooting duration. 1. Lower the video resolution or frame rate. 2. To record a high bitrate video for a long time, we recommend that you attach the camera unit to the front touchscreen module or power module.

Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact our DJI support at http://www.dji.com/support, We are always here to help.
