Great FPV drone for the beginners. It has all and the battery is excellent. Pros: - Built-in Horizontal Lock helps for the beginners. - Flight time is Excellent- up to 20 minutes. - Great Camera - 4K 60fps - Flight Distance / signal is Excellent - Up to 12km Cons: - The controller only works with DJI FPV drone - Too Heavy - The drone is too expensive compare to other FPV drones - DJI Care is too expensive and deductible is too high - In order to repair one arm, you have to pay the full deductible which is not fair.

This is by far the most Fun, enjoyable, exiting drone I’ve purchased. I’m not quite there to use the Manuel mode yet but I still have a blast flying this baby around! It’s not hard to fly but does require some skill to fly it. This drone is fast! I assure you once you have It done to a T it’s all fun from There. Highly recommend this drone! There are some down side to this tho. The battery life is not the best. You can Get honestly about 20 min flight time but if you put It in sport mode it cuts it down a lot lol

DJI FPV is an amazing drone, too much fun and adrenaline. Love the Goggles, that FPV experience is breathtaking, especially when you are flying a drone for the first time. It’s incredible fast, although I’ve never flown the drone in Sport mode yet, but that machine is FAST. This was my first drone, and I learned how to fly using the DJI Virtual Flight mobile app, and it was very helpful. So, don’t be afraid if you are considering this one as your first drone, you can handle it. Video and picture quality are amazing. Only downside here is the battery life: it will last around 10-15 min (Normal mode) and getting an extra battery will cost you around $150 (you’ll need it). Overall, is an amazing drone and you’ll love the FPV experience and the speed of this amazing piece of machine.

Excellent drone for those wanting to get into FPV cinematic flight . Notice I said cinematic , not freestyle or racing . DJI has done an excellent job of combining some of the best attributes of the Mavic Pro series with the ability to do aerobatics while filming . This is not the drone to be flying low between trees or other objects in manual mode as it is a heavy camera ship , not a agile carbon fiber framed purpose built drone . It still takes excellent shots slow and low if you stay in the more user friendly Normal or Sport modes . I'm afraid DJI's marketing will cause this drone to fall into the hands of many who will be reckless and irresponsible and lead to further loss of the RC hobby that we have enjoyed for decades before these "Fly their self" products started hitting the shelves . I have also been building and flying drones since the days of using 4 separate helicopter gyros on the arms just to get one to hover . I still purchased the DJI FPV drone simply because it does a great job for what it is ......A Cinematic camera ship that can flip & roll . One final note : It is surprising that the one I purchased did not arrive damaged . Best Buy simply tossed it into a large box with absolutely no packing . It's actually another star in DJI's favor for their packaging of the drone itself .

What a steal of a deal. Bridging the gap and cutting time for new FPV pilots. This drone flys like a champ. Amazing cinematography shots can be achieved. Gimbal/camera movement. Stopping power. The goggles are A+. Remember the drone is about $600/$700 and the goggles the same. This isn’t a $1300 drone it’s a $1300 package. Would highly recommend for new FPV pilots!

Absolutely insane! This thing is extremely versatile, and extremely fast. This is a good drone for people who've flown other DJI drones before but if you're looking for a first time buy I'd suggest something maybe a little slower pace. Head set is Phenomenal! If you've played VR before then this is exactly like playing Oculus or the HTC Vive. You will get used to the flying controls/orientation very fast. The resolution of the video feed is incredible, I feel like Im flying! 4K Camera footage is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The sound this thing makes is very distinct. The type where you will know if someone else is flying one of these bad boys in the same area as you. 10/10 awesome FPV. Hope this helps, ~Tyler

Solid drone. Takes crisp 4k video and clean looking photos too! (See example) Flys safely around in ‘Normal’ mode, fast without safety sensors stopping you in ‘Sport’ mode, and I have yet to fly in manual mode yet, however I know that’s where it’s full potential will be released. Definitely a fun experience to fly at 29meters/sec around in sport mode though! Be aware of the propeller’s strength and ability to do damage, as I can tell they are twice as strong as the mavic air’s props.

So far its an extremely impressive drone. I fly a lot of the time in Sport mode. This allows the drone to take quicker turns and really use its speed all while not being too difficult to fly. I've flown drones for about 2 years now, specifically DJI drones, and this is just like any other drone but obviously much quicker. The goggles work extremely well. Extremely clear footage even at long distance. Super easy to set up with my phone as well to fly in the simulator for practice. I recommend you fly the simulator until you feel absolutely confident before you try fpv in real life for the first time. Battery life is very good for the drone, I bought the fly more combo as I wanted to get more than ~10 minutes of flight time from just the single battery that is included. Remote battery lasts forever and goggle battery is pretty decent. Overall, this is a great package if you're looking to start flying fpv.

Let me start by saying I've flown several GOS drones from the Mavic series but this drone is so much fun to fly! Easy to set up and get started. So yourself a favor and use the DJI Flight Simulator. I got motion sickness using the remote control so I switched to the motion controller I purchased separately and that did the trick. My first flight was in Normal mode and then I started using Sport mode. This is where the fun begins. I have not flown in Manual mode yet because I need to practice a lot more. I would highly recommend this drone. It is a little pricey bit has capabilities my other drones do not have.

Awesome product buy. Flying the drone is super easy and pretty exciting. The drone has some very fast speed power from going forward or up and down. The picture and video quality is amazing very good photos and videos. And this this is just flying it normal I haven’t gotten the chance to go on manual or sport but so far I totally recommend it. Yes You have to register your drone with the FAA and take 3 minute TRUST test but it’s easy so don’t get discourage. In certain areas you do need to get authorization to fly but all that process is super easy and it takes second to get approval. The only cons I had was the battery for FPV goggles its loose you will think with the money they charge for drone they will make the googles rechargeable or built in clip to hold hanging battery. - battery life is good but it still need work on the battery life hopefully they built a new battery which can last longer than 20minutes

A good unit, a few caveats though... Pros: 1. Sport flight speed is incredible, it’s a great “toy” to use. 2. FPV through goggles is really cool. 3. Lights are a nice touch. Cons: 1. the flight information can only be seen through the FPV goggles. Maybe there’s a way to change this but I have not found it in the settings. This also means that you use the controller with the goggles on, but cannot use the drone without the goggles. 2. To use the unit the goggles need to be powered up which requires a cable to be ran from the goggles to the battery. Why they couldn’t just place a battery compartment in the goggles I don’t know. —- add the fact that you have a USB-C to lightning cable to see the phone then you end up with cables everywhere. 3. The unit does not fold up so storage is a bit more convoluted and harder to find a storage case/backpack to carry it around, plus you have the controller, the goggles, the drone, the charger, the battery for the goggles. It’s a lot to carry around. 4. During my recordings I can see the propellers, and I don’t want to, and I cannot figure out how to move the camera up to put those out of view. I’m amazed that they released this unit with that issue, I’m really thinking I missed something somewhere, but when trying to do professional video it’s in the way.

DJI did it again! A BIG thumbs up.. The best of both worlds.. Slow and stable camera drone when you want it and then wide open FPV with a flip of the switch. Another great product from DJI! Setup was quick and easy to get you in the air. If you order this combo, order a couple spare battery's to keep you flying longer. I got about 15-17 minutes on a full battery taking it easy. This thing is super fast when you want it. They say 85 MPH.. I didn't go that fast but I had it up to 60 MPH and it was awesome.

I have owned this drone for over a year and it has its pro and cons. I personally love this drone. I love the way it handles, the way it moves, the speed. There’s so much to love about this drone. The first person view makes this drone even more enjoyable. The only thing I don’t like is that when you’re in flight and you wish to record a video, the propellers are in the shot. You could edit them out if you want but I could understand why someone will attach a GoPro to the top of the drone to avoid having the propellers show in the frame. The experience of flying this drone is like no other. Highly recommend.

I guess I found myself in a situation where I wanted to get back into my childhood dream of owning an RC car. Well, OK, RC cars are expensive so I found myself stair steppped into this price point after watching several YouTube videos and researching I pulled the trigger, this thing is awesome. It has a lot of safety mechanisms within the flight controls to prevent crashes so it’s easy for someone like me to pull out of the box charge, update and you’re flying within the first two hours. There was no buyers remorse after my first flight and I have actually thought about taking actual flight lessons to fly an actual airplane. I hope this helps whoever’s thinking about getting into this hobby, good luck and Godspeed.

DJI does it again with something totally out of their realm and the qualities of every feature on this drone does not disappoint. I even bought the extra remote that allows you to fly the drone with motion from your wrist is unbelievable. A must have for drone enthusiasts... Like myself. Such a fast drone and great video. Im so surprised.

when I was looking to buy a drone my two options was Maverick Air 2 and the DJI fpv. I had a hard time in Best buy trying to figure out which one I wanted. There was a Best buy employee right there helping me. she was sitting Indian style on the ground with me helping me try to go through the specs and plus more. U I ended up purchasing the Maverick Air 2 combo and broke the back motor off and took it to Best buy. I had the insurance without any questions about anything they gave me the option of getting a new one or a gift card I end up getting the DJI fpv. Powering it on reminds me of a demon getting Goosebumps for some reason lol it's wickedly cool. All in all I love both drones but the one for me is the air too because at the end of the day I do more videos than anything. know what you want or know what you do more of when you deciding between these two drones. And put it to you as if they were motorcycles you have people that love their crotch rockets and you have people that love their cruisers know which Rider you are and you'll know which pilot seat you want to set in. If I had the airspace to zip around I would definitely want to keep this one but I don't and would love to have the Maverick air tube combo back

This is one amazing piece of equipment!! The FPV feature is awesome!! I was a complete novice when I purchased this drone and in less than five flights I had complete confidence in my ability to fly this super fast and agile top tier drone. 4k video and the camera shots are second to none. If your thinking about purchasing the DJI - FPV DO IT!!! You will not regret it! Batteries don’t last super long so I suggest purchasing 2 or three
