I received what appeared to be a returned but fairly new item. All extra propellor blades and screws and screwdriver still sealed in the original package. The drone was flawless as was the controller. All functions very well and packaging was intact. The only issue I had was the previous owner account bound to the device which was quickly remedied by chatting with DJI customer service. They asked me for the drone serial number and proof of purchase and the next morning the drone was un-bound. The few videos taken by the previous owner were still on the device which was actually a plus in my opinion as I could see some really nice shots this drone took before he returned it for whatever reason. Otherwise flawless and a great savings over new.

The drone itself....amazing.... The only reason there is a star deducted is because the geek squad supposedly "refurbished" it, but left the last guys' account locked to the drone! Come to find out, you can't remove it! The person with the account has to remove it. So I can't connect my own account to the drone. Very frustrating. I can still use it, but I am limited. Very annoying. They should not have resold this with the last guy's info attached. I could see some videos of his house and everything. Boooo Geek squad,

Title. My Mini 3 Pro ("Certified Refurbished", but not really) was clearly either a defect from factory or damaged from a crash by it's first buyer, though there were no external signs of damage upon first glance. After turning the drone on, I noticed that the gimbal that the camera sits in was not moving at all, just rapidly shaking/vibrating periodically. I updated the firmware and was able to boot into camera view, but the drone would not move when I spun the gimbal control on the remote. It was then that I noticed one half of the gimbal was dangling, causing the vibrating. It is supposed to be held up on both sides by the body of the drone, but the piece holding it in place on one side is simply missing which renders the gimbal completely motionless; useless. In addition to this extremely obvious damage - at least it would have been obvious if it were tested - it came missing one screw, still signed into the previous user, and it arrived in the worst packaging I've ever received in my life. I understand that external packaging damage could've happened in transit, but the lack of padding inside was just mind-numbingly ignorant for a $730 tech device. This product was not refurbished, tested, certified, or even LOOKED at, by anybody in the Geek Squad or anybody from any other department. Do NOT purchase a refurbished drone from Best Buy, it was a gamble I took based on existing negative reviews and unfortunately it did not pay off. I will be returning this drone and unfortunately it will sit in it's unlabeled plastic kitchen bag until another poor soul thinks they struck a deal. Don't let that be you, lol

The DJI, Mini 3 is a lightweight aircraft that is easy to learn, simple to fly, and a wonderful recreational drone. Lightweight, it is easy to carry and to set up. I have given it 5 stars because it is a quality manufactured product with a highly reputable chain store to back the product. I highly recommend this model to anyone who is thinking of entering the hobby of drone flying.

Came in original packaging with all the parts and not a scratch I could find. Works perfectly! I did have to sign out of the original owners account but the cool part is it allowed me to see their flight history. They flew it for about an hour in total. This doesnt seem to be refurbed it seems to be a purchase and return within the 14 days. My thinking was have it shipped it to the store and pick it up there in case it was a disaster and then show the manager what they are sendig their customers for $700. I figured whoever is shipping them would try to send a complete best condition one to avoid embarassment in the store. I guess it worked. As you can see in the pics its perfect and I saved a few hundred bucks. Seems to be a crap shoot but mine is perfect so far. If that changes I'll update this review. Worth a shot. Have it shipped to the store and if its in bad condition or incomplete show yhem immediately and embarass them for treating theor customets this way.

I seen many other reviews saying how they got a "used drone" and others saying theirs was perfect. I figured I would take my chances. My first order way delayed with no update on its tracking, so I called and they sent a second drone. Wouldn't you know it, the both ended up arriving on the same day. The first delayed drone had broken propellers and was still logged into the previous persons account. The second drone that was sent was in near perfect condition and logged out of the previous owners account. If the first order wasn't delayed and I didn't call to get the second one, the damaged one would have been the only that I recieved. For the cost and supposedly "Geek Squad Refurbished", I would have been highly disappointed. The first one was sent back, I would have been charged twice if I didnt send it in. So it looks like it's just the luck of the draw on which one you will get, order at your own risk it apparently. I uploaded pictures of the the two I recieved.

My drone is so cute. I took it on its first flight in Houston. City views and clear 4K video. Can’t wait to fly it again. Screen and everything is so nice and I enjoyed the flight.

Great picture quality and is really easy to use and learn how to fly it. Found it refurbished at an excellent price.

Due to this drone you’ll see the views which are out of this world! Oceans,seas,nature and wildlife everything will be captured with the help of this little gadget which is portable and matches the rules for taking it on a plane. An absolute must have for those who loves exploring the world!

Product came as described, no damage or accounts remaining. First test flight went great. I'm glad I purchased the refurbished model and got a great deal.

Thrilled with my purchase! This refurbished mini 3 Pro, complete with a screen controller, exceeded my expectations. It worked flawlessly right out of the box. It's amazing how seamlessly it integrated into my setup. Overall, a fantastic product and a great value for the price!

Honestly I'm very happy with the quality of my drone, despite all bad reviews i read before placing my order on my refurbished mini 3 pro. Firstly it came in it's original box, packaging was excellent, the screen on the controller was great with no scratches, all original parts came with it, and yes the profile was still logged in with the previous owner's profile but you can easily fix that by deleting it going to settings. I don't know if i was lucky but my refurbished drone was like new. Highly recommended!

By the time I got the product, I would describe it as extremely poor in quality. The gimbal was (and still is) making a whining noise. I tried all the recalibrations, including a factory reset. No improvement. While testing to see if the recal worked, the drone suddenly started ascending and became unresponsive to my controller input. This left me unable to stop the ascent! It hit my ceiling at a spot that is about 17 feet up. Then it fell to the floor, breaking the front arm pivot joint. And now the gimbal whine is way, WAY worse. There are also propeller scrapes from the drone skittering across my angled ceiling. And as a memento of this malfunction, I was left with a nice crack on the arm. I even tried recalibrating again, with no improvement. Everything was loose in the product box, with barely any bubble insulation. And the product box itself was loose in the shipping box. It was clearly damaged in shipping. With something as sensitive as a gimbal, you can’t have the device sliding around, repeatedly bumping inside the box. I think I should be able to exchange this defective drone or return without a restocking fee. This refurb experience has left such a bitter taste in my mouth, that I ordered a brand new Mini 4 Pro instead, spending double the money! I expect better from Best Buy. This has me seriously considering cancelling my Total Tech, returning the many purchases I have made in the last 60 days, and never shopping there again. If someone with the ability and willingness to solve this problem would reach out to me with the proper resolution, it would retain me as a Total Tech member and as a Best Buy customer. Also, I don’t want a reply from the manufacturer rep. All you guys do is spout canned answers.

Looks and flies like it's brand new. I'm extremely happy with this little drone. Very happy with the picture quality.

I can't believe how easy it is to fly this drone. This is my first time flying a drone but the instructions are clear. I watched one 20 minute youtube video and was able to learn how to fly it.

Excellent product and great value for money. Got this as open box item but found this really good one no compromise on quality anywhere . Great quality product , superb clarity of photos and videos . Quick shots and Master shots are highlights of the product. Fun to use and great recreational and content creating DJI drone available in the market I guess.

After reviewing other people, I took a bullet and still wanted to purchase the refurbished drone. I got an excellent one with no issues at all! I got new propellers, no missing parts, the account is unbound/unregistered, and I could update and fly the drone with no issues! I guess I was one of the few refurbished drones in excellent condition with no hiccups...I recommend others to try it, and hopefully, you guys will get a good one like mine.

Super hesitant to get a refurbished drone after reading the horrifying reviews. I’m on a budget and figured I’d take my chances. I ordered the drone and set up for in store pick up. I asked if I could inspect the contents in-front of the team member and they gladly obliged. All propellers were included as well as screws and a new set of propellers. I was impressed as the box looked a bit scuffled but the contents were in like new condition, couldn’t even tell it was used. The controller is flawless and was already logged out of the previous owners account. I tested out the drone as soon as I got home and was ecstatic to find that the gimbal is perfectly balanced and the vertical shot mode is working. Zoom works and so does every other function of the mini 3 pro. I will update this review after a full flight. I would say purchase and inspect the contents of the drone in store for reassurance.

For a novice flyer, this fits my lifestyle, my kind of drone. Easy to learn and view footages. Packable too! Traveled to Philippines and had a good time with this one!!!
