I own two of these Drones and although these are very easy to fly they do require some skill and practice, they aren't cheap and if you crash and destroy it your $800 in the hole. If you aren't serious about shooting videos then I would look for something else, but if you're looking for a quad to shoot semi professional to professional quality videos then this is your baby. The attached Zenmuse 3 axis gimbal is a professional grade gimbal that was specifically designed for the GoPro Black 3 and 3+ camera. The 3 axis gimbal stabilizes the GoPro while in flight allowing the user to capture silky smooth footage, producing stunning videos that look absolutely cinematic. I do recommend flying with out the gimbal attached until you feel comfortable, you definitely don't want to be wreckless with the gimbal attached as a hard crash will break it. The Phantom Quad is a joy to fly and you can add on a video transmitter and receiver along with a video monitor for first person viewing while flying, allowing you to see exactly what the camera sees so you can get the perfect shot.
