Works good but bulky. And hard to transport. Balancing takes practice.

I had to replace my first Crane due to theft. I researched between newest Crane & Ronin S. I am 100% glad I chose the Ronin! As with my DJI Mavic & Phantom 4 Pro, DJI is the front runner in their products. I chose it mainly for the fact my D7200 & D7500 screens are in full view. I keep being surprised every time I use my Ronin. Much easier to balance. If I forget to take off my lens cap, it does not phase her. I mount a cold shoe mic. with cord, no problem. I've been using my 11-16 wide angle lens and no matter the zoom, no problem. With the included interface cord the focus wheel and other controls interact with Nikon. The 360 degree mode is great fun & creative. My biggest pluses are the ability to add and remove accessories, not lens, without affecting balance, auto tune of motors, quiet quiet motors & its interface with Nikon finally!

This gimble is my first one ever and its amazing :) took me a long while to learn how to balance it perfectly i blame leaving my camera strap for issues first times. I just wish it had cable that supports my nikon d5500 but its super stable still

First two I purchased where defective. Left me with jittery footage. This, the third one, was a charm. I could tell instantly it was going to be smoother, it inherently had a little more resistance, which lead to nice smooth footage. I recommend shooting in 60p and be creative with additional equipment to get it to super smooth.

This is a monstrous handheld gimbal! I would recommended it for DSLR user not for mirrorless user... it doesn't balance on light weight cameras alike the Canon M50. DJI is going to release a weight to balance it but this mean more cost so I returned otherwise is a great product.

A great tool. It has a bit of a learning curve. You definitely need to download the app to make this work. Watch a YouTube to learn to balance it. Once you get it figured out you will love it I promise.

Product is great, gets the job done! Make sure you learn how to use it and stabilize it first because if you don’t you’ll miss out on some pretty cool features. It is not that difficult to stabilize you just have to understand how each motor is tested!

If you enjoy making video with your camera this is a must have. It is pretty heavy but it's also sturdy and amazingly easy to handle. It takes a little bit of time to set it up but theres plenty of YouTube videos to help you out if you're not used to gimbals.

Amazing build quality but a bit overkill if you're using it with mirrorless cameras. It's better with larger DSLR cameras. It's quite big for traveling in my opinion. I would recommend the SC version if you're planning to take it on the plane.

I originally purchased the Moza Air gimbal but wasn't happy with the quality and build. So, I purchased the Ronin S gimbal and I am extremely happy with the quality, build and performance. I now use it on every video shoot I do. Absolutely LOVE it!

Heavy! But solid. If you know you need this, get it. I tried it as a hobbyist and actually never looked forward to using it. Setup takes time, the weight is awkward. But if you need gimbal, this is the one to get. It can do some amazing features. I just didnt find myself needing a gimbal.

I Wish the 3d lidar focus module was compatible with this model. For that reason I Found out real quick why there's a significant price difference between the rs and the rsc2.
The gimbal itself is next level. The axis locking mechanisms are a necessity. Raveneye is overrated Hopefully a few firmware updates and it'll be pretty nice. The best part about raveneye is using active track without having your phone attached to the top of your cameras cold/hit shoe, leaving room for audio solutions and the like.
Using it with a gh5 primarily with a leica 12-60mm f2.8 so it can handle a significant payload.
The focus system is nice having the wheel in the trigger finger position. The screen is small and the navigation wheel seems a bit outdated to be used on this piece of gear. You can control the follow focus remotely though the app while using raveneye, which is cool. It can also focus vintage/cine manual focus lenses using the trigger focus wheel.

The build quality is very good. All the parts are carefully machined with very clean lines and markings. It has a quality feel to it. I like that. All the knobs lock down easily and adjusting all the axes is nice and smooth.

Very very happy with it. It takes a little bit of experience to balance it but once you get use to it it will be easy easy to use. It holds my dslr with a big lense.

Clear and Precise directions make for an easy set up. Very smooth transitions for taking videos with a DSLR camera. Light weight and very easy to carry with the grip that is included.

The best thing I can say is try little things and as you master them keep on trying more. They didn't film Casablanca in a day. Start small and keep your chin up.

As is the case with most DJI products, this lives up to their quality of video gear. The one drawback that I have found is the way the trigger/focus wheel multi cable seems to override the hdmi video signal when used with the A7iii.

We had the Ronin M first and while it was good, it was bulky and not as easy to set up. Now the Ronin S is a different story. This has already paid for itself. Highly recommend to any videographers out there.

It is a heavy rig to carry for travel but the features are insane. The grip feels nice and having the ability to mount a heavier camera is a plus.
Just need the follow focus to be compatible with Sony ><

This product is a great professional level stabilizer. It even smooths out the bumps if you're running with the camera.
Compact, shorter lenses are easier to balance and fly than longer, heavier lenses.
